That yellow corridor in the contraption is the “Backrooms”, it is an endless, yellow maze with a monster trying to find and kill you
Actually the original concept states what you said but only hints at there being a monster
The slimes land in the backrooms. The backrooms also have "Entities", a completely fictional species type thing which are "out to get you" in the backrooms. They can hear you, you can hear them. If you hear one, get away from it or it will kill you. (Can it actually kill you or does it just permanently damage you? I cannot remember)

Okay, not to be the "well actually" guy, but that's not the entirety of what the backrooms is. As somebody who had a session of ADHD encouraged hyperfixiation on the backrooms for like a month, it's basically a place in which you can "no-clip" into, and is extremely hard/near impossible to exit. There are multiple levels (hundreds of thousands) that you can traverse through, many of which are extremely deadly, but some that are pretty habitable. There are numerous creatures, most hostile but some domicile, and even civilizations. It's rlly in depth, and if this kind of stuff interests you I recommend you check out the fandom. I got completely enthralled by the concept a while ago, and there's a lot of interesting content.

As I said on r/Terraria on the first one: That cosplay is bound to win most cosplay contests, especially he put at least a year's worth of effort into it.
It depends, there's some pretty damn realistic looking cosplays. An anature creator contests, yes they'd win hands down but a professional one? Maybe not
it looks amazing
For real though, the insane Terraria builds I see are pure black magic to me.
If you didn't understand the Slime Punishment one: When you noclip out off reality you are brought to the cumrooms

I can't relax playing Minecraft, but Terraria is for all situations.

4:52 I found what banner it is, it's the hell tower banner. It spawns in the abandoned houses in hell. It's 1 of 6 types of banners that spawn in those houses, however only 3 of the 6 spawn per world

Like, can ramp up enemy (50-75 Damage) but cooldown like 2 second. But u need unicorn horn to craft?
or an upgrade with souls of light and unicorn horns, the counterpart to crimtane / demonite armor but much stronger of course

@@hi28 you do need to kill skeleton for the cultists to spawn, it's just that the wall of flesh is long dead by that point
Terraria in smash could have an interesting mechanic where they slowly assemble

I know I’m late lol but that’s meant to be the backrooms, pretty genius to make that since you get to the backrooms by clipping through something and the slimes quite literally clip through the blocks

I actually just realized after 10 minutes that the "corridor" was actually the backrooms, when I first saw that clip, I was kind of underwhelmed too xD
Calamity buffs the pearlwood set btw, but it's still useless even when the set is buffed.

@@bruh-f1re Pearlwood armor, the armor made from the wood in the hallowed, is usseless in terraria since its way too late for wooden armor. But in the Calamity mod, pearlwoods armor set is buffed so it can at least be used as a begginers armor set in hardmode if you dont have other options.

Actually not only slimes are bugged and can travel through blocks. A lot of hardmode's Dungeon mobs are behaving similar, I think it happens cause of the cracked bricks that were added in 1.4
Yeah it’s like the unintended side of hoiks where mobs can just noclip into specific combinations of hammered and empty blocks
I believe the physics-breaking slime contraption was a reference to the backrooms, a creepypasta where clipping out of bounds IRL lands you in the endless yellow hallways of the backrooms.
For pearlwood armor, one of the secret seeds actually has pre-hardmode Hallow. It's likely a failsafe in case someone gets access to the Hallow in pre-hardmode somehow. Personally, I'd like to see a way to upgrade old gear, in case you like the specific mechanics of an early weapon or armor, which could make it worth it to make and upgrade pearlwood equipment if it had unique mechanics.
Skeletron might be a required boss, and might be fightable in pre-hardmode, but you don't actually need to beat him until well into hardmode.

Slimes noclipping to the backrooms is actually really clever!
Pearlwood armour was mostly added for a bit of side interest, making the world feel more fleshed out. There are armours for the other wood types, and if they only added items that we were going to use then I would be less interested in the game. It’s about not being linear, and making worlds feel more fleshed out that is a grabber in games for me. This is the thing most people who play games fail to remember, so they’re always saying “well why did they add this, what’s the point??”
That skeletron one reminds me of that time I simultaneously got a James the Clothier and a chippy’s couch right after I defeated skeletron

3:30 The Pearlwood set is in-game for players who start a playthrough with WoF slain(start with hardmode). In that case, the Pearlwood set is very useful, especially when the spawning point for the player is close to the hallow. @ChippyGaming
The banner @5:00 looks like one of the hell or dungeon banners rather than a monster.

I feel like in some future update, they should make pearlwood plausible. An idea I had was adding pixie dust and unicorn horns to the recipe, but making it have valid stats, and give a cool set bonus. I was thinking the set bonus would be something that lets you deal more damage to hallowed enemies and take less damage from them. But just an idea I thought I’d pitch in. Oh yeah, and the set would be classless and good for Queen Slime, as well as having much more defense than it currently does
pearlwood should get a buff in 1.4.4
The banner is the "Helltower" banner, a naturally-generating banner in the underworld, not obtained from an enemy. It is one of the 6 banners that can generate, but only 3 of the 6 different banners are chosen for each world

The banner is called the helltower, and can only be found in the obsidian towers in the underworld. Another really cool one is the hell hammer, it almost seems to glow on its dark background.

@@person6124 SCP? Wdym? One is a warped reality that is full of impossible hazards and the other is a world where anomalies exists withing the normal plane of existance. They are quite different in objectives too, one world's weapon is to contain, the other is to escape.

The yellow corridor contraption is a joke on the backrooms, they are infinitely repeating yellow monotone office rooms with moist carpets and buzzing florescent lights. The way you get to them in the original story is by "no-clipping through reality"

Pearlwood is good for people who join a coop after the Wall of Flesh has been defeated and need a quick armour choice.
Most people just jump into the altar and pearl Wood armor just gives you 2-3 defense
