@@dbnairmbw It’s cool. It has a “town”vibe to it. Im American too, it’s not a big expat community here like others ie Brits, Aussies or South Africans. Being a black American woman adds a different dimension to it.

What are some of your nonnegotiables if you had to move to another country?
It needs to make me happy & feeling like going out bro. I've been living in Finland for 10 years & its killing my mental everyday, I'm planning to move back to Vietnam. People thinks that the West is better (that's why my parents sent me away), but once you see the world, we all live in the same world, you can get anything anywhere in any means possible basically. It's the energy or the vibe of the place that gets you going with your life.

I think you should try the international foods as well, not just chains. Get a real pizza at an Italian place, get some tacos, get a real night out in the city. Just do things that you would at home.
i agree, you can find the type of life your looking for anywhere. it’s funny cuz in the west i feel like there’s this idea that life elsewhere isn’t possible but the more i travel the more I’m able to see how much potential exists everywhere else.
yeah, i have been to a lot of great local spots (my favorite part of Vietnam so far) since they are smaller shops sometimes i don’t want to make anyone uncomfortable by recording
