    Some people here saying that you talked 20 minutes about the differences and their interpretation is that nothing changed and it’s a waste of 20 minutes. All I can tell to them is that a soccer ball was round and people kicked it back in 1930, and just because they do that today too, doesn’t mean that the ball didn’t change, it really did! I think you put so much efforts into pointing out all the little things and you should deserve a lot of respect for your attention to details. It was a great summary!! Critics should go buy a 2020 model, because there is no difference and enjoy piano black, laggy back up cameras, plastic trunk etc. Hats off to you, I think this video was great, keep them coming! Thank you!

    What is needed on the next update is a larger view from a side camera when you turn on your turn signal. I have talked to several people about this everybody agrees that it would be great to have it on the next update. If you want this, call Tesla customer service to request. If there is enough intrest they will increase the view on the screen. Thanks

      New 2024 model3 will be quieter than 2024 model y. Model 3 has always been quieter. Now model 3 has double pane glass front and back and model y doesn't. Much low boom noise in model y is due to the SUV form factor too. There are ways to quiet the model y a bit. If that’s the case would you go with the performance model now or stick with. LR? I ask because I know you know everything about the Y. The prices are so cheap right now it almost makes sense to get a Y right now especially with the tax credit, transfer of FSD and free supercharging. This is a tuff decision between the new Model 3 & the 2024 Model Y. What’s your opinion on the suspension with the new model 3 LR vs the 2024 model Y LR? Do you love the rivian? I've been on the fence- I'm coming out of a 2021 MYLR, not too keen on leasing the "same" car as I don't think there's many changes.

    I wish tesla would let you have more options. For example they took away some of the speakers in rear wheel drive model. It would be nice to optionally pay more to add it back in.. but they’re likely trying to force people to upgrade to the LR

    Do you know if rims for Model Y with this size 8.5" x 19" 5x114.3 ET 40(from model 3 basically) would be able to avoid curb rash or even with this size the lip of the rim would still stick out?

    I just took delivery of a 2023 Model Y AWD long range 20” induction wheels and tow hitch. I was happy to know it has “hardware 4” like the 2024 Model Y, the cameras are super clear, compared to my 2018 Model 3. You can tell if the vehicle has “hardware 4” by the red dot in the camera lenses. I had a demo drive in a Model Y with 19” wheels. My car with the 20” is the same, no real difference.

    Nice video, a quick note the changes with the center console and double pane glass are seen on 2021 and up. I don’t think that 2024 has the acceleration boost package like the older ones. Also, the paint cost for white is probably because it’s multi-coat and the other colors are more difficult to repair with red being the most difficult. Hope this info helps!

    Have you noticed battery degradation right away. My wife bought a 23 model y performance. It’s been about a month and we have put about 6000 miles on it. The first few charges to 80 percent showed 287 miles and 100 percent showed 303. now when we charge to 80 percent it shows 237 and at 100 percent it shows 287. I’m just curious if that normal loss of range or not.

    • @Gjeebs
      @Gjeebs  9 месяцев назад

      Yea that's normal. Mine hasn't changed since like 15,000 miles

    • @tompappas2695
      @tompappas2695 9 месяцев назад

      Yes. Maybe biggest difference is between Tesla and Toyota. Mpg and EV miles, especially on plug ins, is conservative on Toyota. My R4P is rated at 42 but gets 52-40 through all NE weather, and mpg in mid to Hi 30s is dead on. MY mileage is commonly understood to be 10-30% higher than what's realized over diff weather over first 5 years.

    • @t.d.5804
