Hey there 👋 mostly lurk, but been checking out your vids for a long while now and love your passion for wrestling and the collecting scene. Been a off an on fan for 30+ years, but always appreciate other fans who show their love. Nice vid, great details on all the different lines 👍
Hey man, just getting into wwe and even as someone who is already a toy collector I found this super helpful! My question is, do the lines scale well together? Like if I want a ultimate edition fig of a wrestler, will he look right next to an elite collection figure? If I get into wwe collecting I would probably want to mix and match lines depending on how much I like the wrestler.
Thanks for watching and glad I can help! To answer your question, yes the figures scale very well. Ultimate editions and elites are basically the same size and they do not look out of place at all beside each other. Please let me know if you have any other questions and I'll be happy to answer.
I have a hard time with the basic figures. I have a few that I like, and I do appreciate that through the basics line there are greater attire options, but they are just so stiff. I generally prefer the elites, especially when it pertains to good wrestlers who are agile. If I have a Kofi, a Savage, a mysterio--I cannot justify to myself not having them in incredible poses.I'd rather pay the extra cash and avoid the stiffness. I dig the ultimates when they really go all out on them. The Hogan you displayed and the Fiend are good examples of this. Also, the latest Roman. Even if a figure is good, I may pass. I always ask myself what is special about this? Are they going all out? In any case, Mattel does good work.
Ha! You're not the only one who has a hard time with the basics. Most members of the fig community feel the same way. The basics have definitely improved over the years, but the elites are still the cream of the crop. I'm curious to go through my collection to see which I have more of.
I like the husky basics. I was able to pick up five Otis basics a few months back for 4 bucks each for super-heavyweight customs. Something about big guys being immobile makes the figs more believable to me. Also, the ab crunch action messes up the jelly aesthetic. In retrospect, there was a Mankind basic I wish I'd bought. And the Rock Hunter 2-pack had the best Rock head ever done.
Very helpful video! Thank you!
You're so welcome!
Awesome video bro, thanks for the information very helpful for a new collector like me
I'm so glad you found it helpful! 🙂 Let me know if you have any questions.

That Dominic mysterio is very rare I just found out didn't make many copies of it and it's up in the 70 $80 right now even if it's not in the Box
I had no idea. Should've kept it on the box!
@@JDCollectible it's still valuable tho loose.
Love it brother!🔥🔥🔥👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
