In fact I gave my friend anxiety by using periods when talking to her via discord, because mainly people use them when they're made, but I use them for the sake of grammar.

But naming trends are a thing. It's not that your name changes as you age, its that people ten years ago weren't necessarily naming kids the same thing as people 20 years ago were. Which, probably wasn't her thought process, but it actually does make a certain amount of sense.

That kid is crazy smart- in high school, I took a class that required I visit a preschool and elementary school every other day to work with the kids. My elementary class was a bunch of 5th graders and after grading their papers, I promise his grammar would have blown them out of the water.
