Wow, the stresses on the airframe must be incredible. That is some amazing flying by a talented pilot in an incredible machine. I notice that he's doing all his manoevures at altitude as well. Smart.
It’s actually very little stress on the airframe. It’s not high velocity moves. You won’t be going over 140kts typically in the 105. But it is stressful on the rotor system had this not been highly modified. It’s a titanium chunk the head and shaft. They made the blade only feather they won’t flap Also the bo105 and bk117 ec145. They are a high rpm main rotor system I think about 400 rpm or so. Which is crucial. The main threat is having the blade flap and hit the tail boom in a normal helicopter. But it’s actually not much more stress than a normal helicopter. Also they stripped everything out of these it’s literally empty.
As a private helicopter pilot (long ago lapsed!) this machine and pilot defy the laws of physics and it blows my mind how it doesn't fall apart! What a difference a rigid rotor system makes! I'm surprised the pilot can move the cyclic properly with his huge cahones in the way! Couldn't do that in an Enstrom! 😂
….. once you hear one you’ll always know it …..blindfolded, the north american importers were in west chester pa., used to see them brand new back in the early 80’s, the bk117 used same main rotor hub. Will take off fully loaded with one engine. The mechanic told me to watch out because the pilot got Vietnam flashbacks. The pilot leaned over to the mechanic and said huh ? What was that ? and kept the stick tighten his hand and we were pitched hard 😂😂😂😂😂 that thing is a beast !!
This actually was used as a military helicopter, do your research! And what does it have to do with the military anyways? Why shouldn't a civil helicopter be capable of such things?🤦🏻♂️

Ey is chuck aaron?
One of the best helicopter in the history of aviation. The pilot is a master !!!!
I fly R-22s and I could not even imagine doing this LOL awesome stuff

@@klk1900 what do you mean exactly by highly modified? Was there something else done to the engine itself to not overload on these maneuvers?

0:58... nuts!!
It's not for the faint-hearted. ;-)
Definitely not! :D
;-))
That's something IV never seen a helicopter do👍

Il 105 è un elicottero notevolmente àffidabile
Amazing video. Thank you
U're welcome! Thanks for watching! :)
Stunning.
Is it not a great risk of overpitching and LTE?

*_ASTONISHING!_*
Thank you! :-)
AWESOME VIDEO KNIGHT!#SALUTE
Thank you very much! :)
Wow, so suuper geflogen....
Da würde ich soo gerne mal mitfliegen ;-)
Odlican video brate👍👍👍👍
Thank you very much, Branislav! Greetings to Serbia! :-)
KNIGHT FLIGHT VIDEO +++
Welcher anderer Heli hält das aus?
Ah 1 cobra
@@ramirocasco5167 Nein.
Robinson R44. Zumindest für ein paar Sekunden
Normal Helicopter Pilot: a Helicopter isn't made for aerobatics
Flying Bulls: that's wrong
EC-135 could do same? Chuck Aron or Charlie Zimmerman?
It uses a hing-less rotor head. Why it's so strong..
I believe what they can do with the helicopter is true because they can change the direction of each blade
You gotta believe in something.
Call military helicopters can do the same thing
Show videos or it didn't happen.
This actually was used as a military helicopter, do your research! And what does it have to do with the military anyways? Why shouldn't a civil helicopter be capable of such things?🤦🏻♂️
Military helicopters are built the same
Nope. Bo-105 is the only one with a hingeless rotor system, and subsequently the only one certified for aerobatics.
