Great to see this after 30-plus years! I did the interview when I was field producer for WAW. Richard was waaay cool, loved the finish product EXCEPT that the producers didn’t use his music…
@@katiegrundle9900 He sold the original Ferrari that's on the Now & Then album cover, but regretted it years later. He bought another one just like it. He still owns that one and has it at his Yesterday Once More warehouse/car museum. He used to have Karen's 1978 Jaguar but he sold it.
Fantastic collection & a nice guy who really appreciates the cars for pieces of Art that those early American Cars are!!!🤗👍
The Cars and the Carpenters were of my youth.

Wow......I remember this old tv car show!
So!!! YOURE the one!
Yes indeed, it's always nice to love & restore a car and THEN watch its value increase. Sadly, this doesn't happen often enough.
Although it wasn't shown. I'm glad he kept Karen's 1972 Mercedes Benz 350 SL
does he still have the ferrari that both him and Karen were pictured in the 1973 album

That's a '58 Edsel, not a '59.
Beautiful collection, but I didn't see my favorite....the 1965 Mustang convertible!!!
When I think of 1950's Americana, the Chrysler 300 comes to mind.
Still nice looking guy
👍
At 4:06... couldn't anyone tell this guy that it's a "1958" Edsel?
