Can’t stop gushing over this series!! I really love how it gives me the satisfaction of paying an intimate virtual visit AND gets me excited about visiting the museum in person. ...the videos feel like a visit to me because of the sense of travel experienced from moment to moment through time/space/encounters with people and art, and across more than one show too -all unfolds at a leisurely pace like strolling from room to room at the museum... and with careful attention to things like the chalk board museum map and how it quietly introduces you to the next artist’s exhibit we encounter. That said, I enjoy making the subtle connections while watching like wondering how the speaker issue was resolved given the unobstructed view of the later film screening. It’s great magic when you can start to finish a thought or visual given a few nodes to hinge your imagination onto :)

Its very interesting and fun to hear how the artist understands the physical, kinetic event of a brushstroke - I think this is the key to be able to make and to experience the energy of an event as abstract

Wow, Carolee was a treasure herself. I never knew about the Pinwheel painting. What an epic exhibition

Alvaro Barrington is what I imagine JB would look like from Hanya Yanagihara's 'A Little Life.' Strangely enough, JB had an exhibition at MoMA himself.
