Awesome! Straight to the point, thank you.
The part about tree root removal helped a bunch. Thanks
Just bought this for my DIY sidewalk removal. All good reviews!
How do you like it? Make sure to add oil if you want it to last long, and you might have to replace the spring after a year of use. It's been awesome working for me and my many projects.
@@Upgradetech I haven’t got it yet. It’ll be here Monday and I’ll have to wait till spring to bust up my sidewalk and put in a new one. I trust it’ll do fine for my needs though
How much you bought
Thanks a lot!
I just ordered mines today 02/29/24
How much you bought
@@FLORDUBAIChannel it was on sale on Amazon I got it for 180$ plus tax 185.35
The owners manual says not to use too much oil, but it does not give you an oil capacity. How do you know how much oil to put in it?
Thanks for the comment at the end. I was wondering about using this to aid in tree removal too. Makes sense that it should be able to break through roots.
After using mine on tree roots I found it wasn’t all that effective. The roots just bounced with the chisel. It was great for loosening the dirt around the stump though n
Are you wondering what type of oil is needed? I found a small sticker on mine saying hydraulic # 46 oil
What's the difference between this one and the black one. Looks like same specs but $6 dollar difference
is it normal that the air outlet (that round black vent) gets pretty hot?
Where do you find the ISO VG 46 hydraulic oil for this in a 1qt or less?
Not sure if you can sub other oils:
SAE and ISO use two different scales to measure viscosity. SAE 10W is equivalent to ISO 32, SAE 20 is equivalent to ISO 46 and 68, and SAE 30 is equivalent to ISO 100. As you can see, there is a bit of a difference between ISO 68 and SAE 30.
Compressor oil and hydraulic oil are not the same. They are designed for different applications and have different properties that make them suitable for their respective uses.
Compressor oil is specifically formulated for use in air compressors. It is designed to lubricate the moving parts of the compressor and provide sealing and cooling functions. Compressor oil typically has additives to prevent oxidation and to improve lubrication under high temperatures and pressures.
Hydraulic oil, on the other hand, is used in hydraulic systems to transmit power. It is designed to transfer power and lubricate the moving parts of hydraulic machinery, such as hydraulic pumps, motors, and cylinders. Hydraulic oil has properties that allow it to flow easily through hydraulic systems, provide lubrication, and withstand high pressures and temperatures.
Any hardware store that sell chainsaws or Amazon
@@Upgradetech I can only find one on Amazon that looked close ISO VG 46 and it was one quart. What does it have to do with chainsaws? I have chainsaw chain oil but I think that's quite a bit different.
How much is this package
Bro is anyone going to mention the brandnew concrete they poured to test this? smh bro that cement slab looks very thin, and also looks like grout mix and not the portland sand that side walks have!
These bunch of whiners complain too much they could break that concrete slab with a carpenter`s hammer. Then do it! I was trying to remove a 2-inch asphalt with a lot of cracks already due to its 20-plus years for a few days using a hammer and crowbar and gave up. Bought this to do the job.
Would those bits fit all makes of hand jackhammers?
I don't know because this are the commend type but I don't have any other to compare them to sorry.
@@Upgradetech thanks anyway. I'll inquire around
So, works on concrete a few inches thick...that I can literally drop a 3lb club hammer on and It will break.
I was just thinking that that's a really skinny slab of concrete
No shit. It's a $170 jackhammer
Hydraulic oil iso 46 on my same hammer
What’s type of oil we need ?

I found a small sticker on mine. It says hydraulic #46 oil
@@jzimme003 AW 46 hydraulic oil will work. I got that at our Autoshop local store.
Como canbiar carbones
You did that thin cement to do the video, is not concrete, because is with out grabel, that way is very easy to bracket, you can brack it with a carpenter hammer.
Do an other video with real 4 inch concrete.
