I always enjoy your videos. I'm a NC resident and love the Cape Lookout and Harkers Island area. Just a quick note the diamonds on the light house also help with navigation. The black one point North and South while the white ones point east and west. By the way good job on the board Sierra. Good luck and safe travels.

I’m not sure who’s idea it was to start the heaving production of music, video switch editing and other tv show style theatrics, but it has taken something away from what we enjoyed. so happy to see you in my stomping grounds!! our beaches are world-class and in many areas not crowded at all. did you see any wild horses? just south of the lighthouse down by Shackleford banks. The point where you were showing off the land is definitely the result of the rapidly evolving point. That little island has grown huge in the last couple of years, it's incredible how much the beach changes. Glad you came, and looks like you enjoyed yourself. Cape Lookout is one place we always had on our list but never made it to. We've seen the Currituck, Bodie Island, Cape Hatteras, and Ocracoke lighthouses in OBX, but never made it that far South. I proposed to my wife on a beach in Salvo. Love, love, love OBX!

Cape Lookout and the whole area going south and north is an awesome place. I live in Wilmington but my wife's sister owns a place in Marshallburg spent tons of time there. Best shrimp I have had, does not hurt to know a few shrimpers or old locals for clams and muscles too.
Keep going once you get on foil you will be hooked. It’s so much fun. It does take time for most mortals don’t give up. Practice more on the beach handling the wing. Best tip i was given is stand up as quick as you can.

One of the only places left not overrun with people on the seaboard. I have to say camping on the beach is beautiful there but it’s a desert. Outside the fish camp there is very little infrastructure. Perfect for off the grid camping. The winds are brutal but I love it out there.

What a great time! I can't do any of that stuff but I enjoyed it! It will take a LOT of experience doing it to know all the nuances of how to move when your balance shifts! I'm still working on my walking! See how much more fun Jetty has when she is the center of attention! Get a stiff bristle brush and brush her. Sand and salt and dirt on her skin under her fur itches! She needs to be scratched and brushed and washed even more than the truck.
