"Baby In Distress"... Oh that makes so much sense once you play the quest.
When they said that I instantly teared up again
The horrifying thought is what Jade went thru. She was mutated into a Warframe while pregnant as punishment. I'm reasonably sure she was used every time we hear of someone being "Sent to the Jade Light". Finally escaping, she uses everything she has for YEARS after the Tenno leave just to keep her baby alive, so long in fact that she doesn't have the strength for the birth anymore, she needs the link to the Tenno to give that last bit, and we get there just barely in the nick of time. So little time left in fact that her baby she'd been directing everything to keep alive, was likely to die barring our interference. I was in tears at that part, and sobbing as Stalker flys away with his son.
@@vulpinesoul her memory feathers are sadder, it reveals that she could speak to the operator controlling her.
@@LokiToxtrocity She, Stalker and Umbra were all kept "Sentient" after their transformations as part of their punishment by Ballas. More reason to hate him.
The most “WTF why is this happening” moment is Warframe is also one of the most narratively impactful. Still turning the birth of an unholy amalgam Warframe child into a guitar hero rhythm mini game kinda undercut the significance of the moment 😂
I kinda liked it. Translating experience to mechanics is my favorite thing about games
I initially thought it was the mother's heart rate since Jade seems to gasp in audible pain if you miss the timing, and the final one's "got the timing right" sound effect is slightly longer and nuch higher pitched than the ones that come before, stmbolizing how Jade herself died in childbirth.
But your wife's explaination also makes sense in my opinion.
Thank you Mrs. SocraTetris! When I first saw how fast she was answering the initial questions I was wondering why this video was 15 minutes long, but the later discussions were quite insightful. Definitely well-deserving of the time dedicated to it
Thank you Pepyogurt :) very kind of you to say
Thank you and your wife for the insight. It was such a beautiful quest.
That line makes a lot more sense now!
Thank you, Mrs. SocraTetris!
We've been blessed with your knowledge
The stigma about having cesarean birth was one of the many points my fathers side of the family used against my mum. Failing to mention I was a breech baby and would have killed my mother being born naturally. Best quest in Warframe, had sobbing
Thank you fot sharing, Malum :). And yes, sn absolutely disgusting stereotype
Thank you Mrs. SocraTetris! I’ve learned a lot! ❤
Yeah, i shouldn't have listened to it at work... couldn't see through all those tears
Tell your boss I apologize for any inconvenience i might have caused 🙏🏾
Women anatomy knowledge +1
As rare as it is I have delivered 3 seperate times ON SCENE. Not really something i want to do in the uncontrolled enviroment of a bathroom floor or ambulance lol
Completely understandable. You must be on the forefront!
The sea floor of Uranus is probably the worst place to have a baby.
Especially with Hunhow hovering nearby!
How friggin fascinating!!!
