For once, I’d like it in an anime when there’s a new girl introduced, the guy is already in a committed relationship. Because that way we could see how THAT girl acts when she doesn’t get what she strives to obtain….

That's something that really bothered me about AoT's dub. Memes that say "Mikasa es su casa" would've happened anyway, so why overpronounce names? But then there are those who cry out that the names should be pronounced the way they are supposedly "meant to be pronounced".
@@linkskywalker5417 the number one rule for dubbing a show should be immersion. If the dub choice takes you out of the moment and reminds you that you’re watching an English dub over a show made in another language, then you done fucked up. Erika in English is a Norse-derived name, while Erika in Japanese is Japanese name that by pure coincidence sounds similar and is spelled the same way when translated to English.
Watch episode 6 here! got.cr/cd-acoc6
She lives her life trying to be number 1, because she knows that in the anime trope world, she will always be number 2.
Haven’t seen your comments in a bit, how you doing?
Darn Erika Umino!? 🥺😭
1:32 Well you're just good at everything aren't you Hiro?
I think Erika is trying her hardest to help out with Nagi hooking up with Hiro in her Super Cute Cupid outfit. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Cupid should take a backseat from the matchmaking for awhile
Reminds me of josh and mindy with nagi trying to beat his girlfriend at something. Josh always wants to beat mindy at something
Erika tries but she tries a little too hard.
Also Erika going to have a lot of outfits to rival Marin

Wow
Erika is much bettterrr
I just wish the names were pronounced in a more natural way instead of with a Japanese accent. The dialogue would flow so much better.
But when they don't pronounce names in a Japanese accent, people get angry saying they aren't pronouncing the names properly.
her name is Erika, not Erica. There's a difference.
