I just found u this morning, so glad I did!! I haven’t cross stitched in at least 40 years and would like to start again. It used to just be DMC and Aida, now there’s a gaziliion fabrics and a created foreign language that goes with it!!🤣

Such a helpful video! I have been stitching my latest project on linen and it has been so nerve racking to me! I usually use Aida but our local cross stitch shop encouraged me to try linen. I may be willing to try an even weave for my next project. I would love to do a mirabillia at some point so sounds like evenweave would be best over Aida? Thanks again for all your helpful videos! 😍

I find doing a 14ct design on 28ct aida is better. I find the material doesn't then dominate the design. Just stitch over 2 for 28ct, rather than over 1 for 14ct. Also 1/4 stitches are easier when working over 2 with 28ct.
