Extrude to get things rolling and the use of a Radial blur trick to get AMAZING, clean and outright beautiful facet like fractals. Quick tip, if Extrude is greyed out.
Go to Image -> Mode -> Click on 8Bits/Channel
I hope it works for you guys aswell.
