live in Ohio,I had a in home childcare business for 38 yrs, I reared Drs. Lawyers, Teacher's Policeman I could go on and on,I retired in 2018 I was charging 125.00 a week,I had a beautiful daycare facility,I taught these children to read, write, etc my parents were all professional, wonderful people I just attended a Graduation for one of them,I've attended many get togethers over the years why are the paying that kind of money for childcare, almost all of my families had said over the years they wouldn't trade what they received from me opposed to the big facilities I never had one child hurt in 38 yrs,I'm very proud of the children I helped over the years as a matter of fact at the graduation the father said, Angie you gave these kids a wonderful start in life
You should be proud. Sounds like a lot of hard work but that you enjoyed it. You must be amazing to have stayed in touch so long with everyone.
Sounds good man!
I'm a 55 year old business owner and only just found Dave Ramsey on RUclips .....I've listened to hours of the show, and bought 2 of your books.....man, I wish I had found you 30 years ago....but I know that I will be debt free and mortgage free in the next 3 years now, using your strategies 🙏 Thank you for making this your life work 🙏❤️
@deskteam better late the never. Good luck on your debt-free journey🙂
Good luck @deskteam and god bless you
I listen to this daily while working (from the UK) I currently am debt free and working on paying my house off, I have almost doubled my monthly mortgage payment after realising my mortgage is the same as it was at the start after a remortgage
“Automate your discipline” great quote! Great debt free screams!
Yeah for sure!
I've got peace in my life, first because of Jesus and second, Dave Ramsey!
My physical therapist told me that he sees MANY times when the life insurance companies don't pay out when they should. I was shocked
Health insurance companies fight hard to not pay as well. 😊
Something shady happened they pay out don’t be fooled
Just want to say that I've been using every dollar now for about a year. Every time I pay off a credit card I cancel it immediately. I've canceled three cards and have two more to go. I'll have everything paid off except for our house and car but the end of this year.
The car should be paid off by next April and then I start working on the house.
The debt snowball works and I try to encourage others to do the same. I preach how bad debt is and how it will do nothing but keep you in debt forever.
I know Dave says to get everything but the house paid off and then invest 15%. But I'm paying off the debt and at the same time I'm investing 24% in my 401k as well as a little into mutual funds each month. I'm 55 and I think it's best to do both at the same time.
I put off listening or watching Dave from opinions of others saying he’s out of date with his ways. Finding out now that’s far from the truth. Daves lessons are very much relevant in today’s times. God bless you Dave and your team and thank you for your help and support.
Looking for long term investments that can yield millions. If you had $250k, which one would you go with for retirement planning?
consider 3 fund portfolio using VOO, SCHG, and SPYD invest majority of investments using them
If you don’t understand the markets then stick to an index like the sp500. Dollar cost average and hold long term
The issue is most people have the “I will do it myself mentality” but not skilled enough. Ideally, advisors are perfect reps for investing jobs and at first-hand experience, my portfolio has yielded over 330% since covid-outbreak to date, summing up nearly $1m.
@@speak2selwyn good gains! how can i connect with your advisor if you dont mind me asking? in dire need of professional advisory to expand my investment options
Karen Lynne Chess is the licensed FA I use. Just google the name. You’d find necessary details to work with and set up an appointment. To be honest, I almost didn't buy the idea of letting someone handle growing my finance, but so glad I did.
35:00 mark: I used to be a courier for Fedex.. I'd work 12+ hours a day, 6 days a week.. and I made $18 an hour. UPS definitely has a waaaaay better situation. It's almost criminal how we were treated at Fedex. Thankfully I was able to find an office job that pays way more and I do way less work.. I was literally getting up before the sun rose, to drive until it was pitch black at night.. didn't benefit me at all. In fact I made far less money, so my point here is that just working more hours at a horrible job is not really the answer. The answer would be hold off, hang in there while you try and find a better job.
They say every dollar app is free but you have to subscribe 😂
I thought the same but the basic functions are free. Which is pretty cool
Does Dave ever watch himself and the faces of his co stars? His teachings are incredible and life changing for people. Thank you Dave, for all you have done. Your not easy to watch anymore.
I can attest to new york life. The worst investment you can possibly make. They promise good returns but they take all your money. Absolute garbage
Any chance of having Every Dollar available in Europe anytime soon ? :)
Daniel, a family only party with cake and ice cream is less than 100. Go back to simple.
You can bake it yourself for $5 or less, ice cream goes on sale 2/$5 all the time. That's how we've done birthday's on a budget for years.
@@itsallperfectlynormal9805 Wow....that is some cheap icecream!!!!unheard of. But yes...a cheap party is fine!!!
Are we paying cash for the blinds?
😂
Hell yeah
No blinds till baby step 4
Can we get an answer on how much someone needs to make to buy the average priced house in the USA house hold income ?
Mortgage shouldn’t be more than 25% of your income. Including the insurance taxes etc
$40,000 to $40,000,000. Depends. Are you moving to Kentucky or Malibu?
About $60,000 a year or more in total or combined income for a house that's no more than $300,000.
My new purchase here in Kentucky worth about $2.5m and hyperailtd contributed more than 90% for the purchase.
I'm a BUDS Instructor and in all the DOD branches 😊
Whole life insurance policies with a living benefit definitely it can be used for cash flow and it can be used for infinite banking.
It's worth looking up.
“She’s my co-host and my daughter.”
Don’t think I don’t smile when I watched. Congrats Dave.
My cousins school got paid by ups and he moved up and makes bank. He should look into his options he owns his house
I was listening to the debt free scream and thought it was Delong talking for a minute…haha
A mobile home that I bought 10 years ago in Arkansas near Bentonville for $24000 is now worth $60000.
I own the land the 1/3 acre that it is located on.
@riverrat3269 In the meantime I am making money on the rental at a modest price to make sure that a woman has a home that she can afford($250 month+)... I view it as a contribution..not an investment. Rent income paid it off for me years ago. Property taxes are $5 a month minutes from downtown Bentonville Ar
The daycare call broke my heart.

Rachel is a star 💫
One wonders why she works though of Winston and her own paid for real estate and he works full time?
Another childcare option could be an au pair. If you have a spare room and don't mind someone being in your home its a very cost effective solution.
yes I am in Ottawa Canada and 5 years fixed rate is the max... you have to renegotiate with the new interest rate....
By 2026, Canadians who renew their mortgages that previously had variable-rate mortgages with fixed payments will see the largest increase compared to their previous mortgage's origination, expected to rise 61.85%.
Payments are expected to increase by 31.88% among all types of mortgages by 2026
We have a very good rate right now but were expecting it to go up quite a bit in the next couple years when we renew. Were kicking ass paying off debt so well be very well prepared for the increase @mikem7489
Yupp it sucks.
❤
Canadian mortgages sound terrible. So everyone who bought in 2021 at 2.7% interest is about to reset to 7%? Sounds like a lot of foreclosures coming up.
Seven is high. Fixed is lower than variable here right now.
Have you never heard of a variable interest rate?
@@fkillah Yes, and?
Yea its awful. Ours is 1.54 and we have to redo it in 2 years.. it better go down lol
@@Nardaa-ox3be well thats how variable mortgages work. its like being surprised that water is wet
Ramsey is really good for people with debt issues. For anyone with money to invest he is not so much the lst person to ask, on the contrary. Whatever he suggests, do the opposite. (Insurance is a separate issue)
See the money guy bo and Brian are great for investing
Thanks hero. What's your net worth?
@@JimWallace-wildblue43😊
Okay scammer. Are you 900 million
Good rule= Term insurance only
How doing me to talk yuo sir because I'm excited to your interview the problem me I'm not street to speak in English and I'm shy to my Media ❤❤
Hey!! Brght dea?? Ramsey starts an on ste Day CAre????
Haha, lol Rachel saying be careful haha. He doesn't want marriage is because he's not sure the baby is his...
she could of helped by getting side job instead of letting her husband bury himself in work then complain when he was never home
Voya Financial for term life.
She probably doesn’t wanna say live that they’re waiting until after so the state pays for the baby not them.
Sorry "On Campus" My EYE s not workng
I am 14 Year old
Regarding the mom wanting to payoff her daughter’s student loans of 80K….don’t you agree the daughter should have a little “skin in the game”? She’s the one that chose to go to an expensive school out of state. Maybe the mom pays 70K and leaves 10K for the daughter to payoff. It’s just the principle of not creating a sense of entitlement for the daughter going forward in life and relying on mom’s money. Just my opinion.
I get adds from insurance, loews
This young man wanting to buy a land and put a mobile on. It doesn't have the financial backing or the current financial assistance that the Ramsey family is talking about.. His plan may work out just fine.
She told the guy with a master's in finance to "go deliver pizza"
Grinch
I recommend staying away from this guy! Outdated thinking. IMO. If I had listened to his advice on metals from 2018, I would be $155,000 poorer! 30% rise in value.
Thus guy died way too young he should not have died at only 41. All can ex home he curable no letter what stage no matter how aggressive Halfway through 2024 looks like we can do better Embarrassing
? You can die of cancer at any age including children. It depends on the type of cancer and how aggressive it is. Sometimes there’s nothing that can be done. I would go back to school for English and Science if I were you.
I had a friend die 6 months after he found out he had cancer. Can happen to anyone
