you dont have to be smart to solve cubes, its only a little harder than a 3x3 if you dont take in how much time it takes.
Na bro there is nothing like AI in these robos,you have to just follow a continuous pattern for solving a puzzeled cube in any stage it will solved easily....you can also try
This robot doesn't use AI
What is the sense in all that? If the phone and thus the "robot" can see the movement of the cube it just hast to undo your turns. it's like when you show participants in a competition how to twist the cube and then they have to solve it.
Second, the video has a lot of unnecessary slowmos, length and cuts. I had to crank up the speed not to fall asleep.

Creo que la cantidad de movimientos no la determina la máquina, sino la aplicación, y de forma determinista. Como está usando la misma aplicación con cubos mezclados de la misma forma, ambas máquinas deberían estar ejecutando la misma secuencia con la misma cantidad de movimientos, y justamente la prueba es para ver cuál los ejecuta más rápido. Si pausás el video y vas cuadro por cuadro con la tecla de punto, efectivamente da toda la impresión de que los movimientos son exactamente los mismos. Al menos hasta que se desincronizan porque una los hace más rápido.
@@DavidTMarchand creo que la resolucion esta directamente relacionada con la calidad de giro de los motores teniendo en cuenta como tu dices que la programacion de resolucion es la misma en ambos modelos
An interesting experiment would be to have them scramble their own cubes and then attempt to solve the other's scrambled cube. I legit don't know if one of these machines was slower because maybe newer? Or whatever. They looked nearly identical as to how they operated. Do you even still have both of these solving robots?
I was thinking they would serve much better as scramblers, why would anyone need it solved?

Press solve button at the same time isn't good idea. Believe me our fingers actually can't press at the same sort of time, these is a few tiny second faster one to each other. So, you better press one by one and see which one is faster.

Factually, the robots never solved the cube. @4:00 the robots keep record of all the changes while scrambling the cubes and it just reverses the steps recorded while solving. It is basically a REWIND button and some good computer memory. This isn't Artificial intelligence....
