  • A rare video from J.S. Fry & Sons (later Cadbury's), titled "The Story of Cocoa and Chocolate", featuring the now defunct Somerdale factory in Keynsham.
Being Quakers, the Fry family ensured the factory was built with social facilities to serve the work force and their families.
Completed in 1923, the factory operated for 88 years and served as the 'home' for a number of prolific Fry's and Cadbury chocolates, including Dairy Milk, Cream Eggs, Crunchie and the Double Decker.
The factory ceased operation in March 2011 and its parent company moved production to a facility in Poland.
