Awesome AX schooling...no bells or whistles (not wasting five minutes showing me where to place my fingers on the neck) just chords and laser-quick wit. I appreciate how fast you get to the meat and potatoes of the song. Keep them coming...I'm really enjoying your tutorials!! KUDOS!!!
Hey Ryan you are a great teacher have learned alot from watching you ...could we get a video for Jerry Cantrell-My Song can not find an accurate lesson thanks and keep up the good work
Can you make solo acoustic tutorial for the katatonia song decima? it's such a good track and close to my heart but I cant seem to find a good tab for it so it'd be really helpful if you do make one
Good stuff. I prefer to keep the E in place of the G#minor. I’ve always understood the the progression as having a E/G# instead of a straight up G#minor. Using the capo on the 4th makes it easy to play the E/G# but like I said, I just stick with the old fashion E instead and it sounds good. Great video.
Do you have any tutorials on Rush songs? Closer to the Heart or Fly by Night would be awesome. Appreciate you, your sense of humor, and your teaching methods.
Hi Ryan Great one... Again... Thanks for that When played live back in the days, Edge was playing some lead parts that would go nicely with the campfire version Would it be OK if I made a quick video about this?...
I'd be disappointed if you didn't :) he does in the studio recording too - it's not even difficult - but noodly and not at all abalone (standalone) so I decided to leave it alone
May I request a Ty Cobb by Soundgarden please mr. guitar man? Thank you Also great vid as always. Didn't watch it bc not really a fan of U2 but imagine it's good :)
Do you do live jams with the chat anymore? That was my method of throwing some dough your way via superchat for the rad lessons. I’m far too lazy short attention spanned to log into a patreon site or w/e(though I’m grateful others do)
you're so kind 'chunk. I took a break from a few things that require a bit more mental acuity (mostly that and miss poopadoop) when we moved to NC (we moved into the ultimate handyman's dream/nightmare - no pity though it's the adventure we chose and it's a blast!) and I'm adjusting to an all new way of life in the middle of nowhere. Picking those two things back up has begun to creep into my thoughts though... I'll see you soon :)
It's not really good vibes. Bono wrote it as a conversion he wished he had with Michael Hutchence of INXS, after his suicide. Good tune but incredibly bittersweet,, :(
indeed, while political affiliation does seem to define one's likelihood to wear a mask, it has no effect on one's vocal chords :) (that mask thing is a true fact, not a rub on anyone - everyone check out the podcast You Are Not So Smart - wonderful psychology podcast put on by a very friendly man)
And they just released an acoustic rendition of 'Stuck in a Moment' for the 20th anniversary of ATYCLB. Perfect timing! xx
I promise that was pure dumb coincidence on my end :)
So pleased this version is in standard tuning!!! Love you man!
I love you too craig. don't tell our moms.

Thanks teacher Ryan!
Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, U2 and Sharp Nine are my three favourite bands 😃
isn't that four? :)

I think I just did a campfire tom sawyer when we lost Neil :(
Love this man!!!! Thanks!!!
yay! you're welcome!
Any chance you can look at the version they did on Letterman? I think its open e tuning, but I cant get the chorus to sound right
I did that yesterday silly :)
Thanks! Probably my all-time favorite U2 songs (it's hard to pick a favorite). Played it a million times while recovering from my thyroid surgery.
great choice! on the song of course not the surgery :)

you're hilarious Julia. thank you for the SG request :)
Hey Ryan, can you please make a Campfire version of "Alone Again Or" by Love? I feel that your take on it will make the song even prettier.
thanks for the ideas Rab :)

Legendary stuff.

Greeeeeat call Ryguy🤙🏼
thanks Bry-guy!
This. Is. Awesome.
thanks JM!
Woooo Hoooo! Love me some ringy outty chords that sound much less Weezery
in a twist of ironic fate, I am, at this moment, outtamilk.
@@RyanLendt spooooky
Standard tuning, no barre chords, count me in!
I can't think of a pun for this song either. you get a pass.
@@RyanLendt U2? Me 2!
Stay acoustic?
thanks for the idea Al :)
I only stay in case more bell happens. Where has Mrs Poopadoop been? Keeping her distance?
haha - ms. poopadoop has made my physical piece of paper list of active brainstorms, that's a good sign - she's creeping back in :)
Yeah...but he didn't realize we had juice and cookies after the bells get mutilated. It's the only reason I come back
sunday school joke I presume :)
Need a Hold Me Thrill Me Kiss Me Kill Me lesson
never heard of it but it's headed to THE LIST
It was from Batman Forever.
It's not really good vibes. Bono wrote it as a conversion he wished he had with Michael Hutchence of INXS, after his suicide. Good tune but incredibly bittersweet,, :(
that moment when someone who knows more tells you the real meaning of the song and you realize your interpretation was way off...
@@RyanLendt ah, there are no wrong interpretations, just differing ones.
Unpopular opinion: the best U2 album was zooropa.
you're the king of unpopular opinions :)
Despite Bono’s globalist political platitudinousness, he’s a damn fine singer.
