I am having a tough morning because of my elder illness, but I am looking back to see what I missed. Your voice, and style of conducting your self is soothing...calming...Thank you dear Karen for being you👍
I have been a reseller for years --- decades --- and I am so blown away by the high and higher prices at our basic Goodwill and yikes - Salvation Army - out of control?!! I know the CEOs at the top are selling things for their own profit now... I find the only way to get ahead is to hope the staff in the shop don't know everything.... That's where the years of knowledge come into place... e.g., knowing a Stangl piece or the fun mid century art... Nice finds!! You're obviously still doing it with the higher prices out there... Fun to watch you --- Thanks for inspiring me to get back out there :) Blessings to you my dear!
That metal shovel is a door knocker and would look lovely on a garden shed door
figurines with large hole opening are vintage macrame beads. I used to macrame in my younger years so recognized the beads.
Looks like they sell for $29 for a set of 6.
Exactly what I was thinking!! Good to have confirmation of my thoughts!
Agree beads...
Clear crystal! Look up most valuable manufacturers, their signature then search for that tiny, obscure marking. I picked up a Waterford piece today and finally found that microscopic mark where it is not usually found. Really had to use my phone magnifier
Plus Google lens can really help jump start the research.
The little folding garden shovel is actually a door knocker very neat for that old farm house decor
I have that same trinket box. It was always on my grandmother's bedroom vanity, since I could remember. She's long passed and I am 58 years. I've always wondered about it. And you just put in the shelf the only other one like I have ever seen.
wow that wreath was fantastic --- I saw another sold one for over $70!! Nice score :)
Thank you, I am a new reseller and I added more words to a title as you advised. I had my first sale. Thank you for all your hard work 💜
Love that vintage painting of the lady & her dog…so very 60s! That is not something I would personally decorate with, but I do love the style, the genre and it’s such a great seller!
I love that you show the linens, I have purchase nice curtains at thrift stores for my own home.
Always interesting Karen. I did like the Asian scarf. Geez I learn more and more each time I watch you. 🥰❤
Love the Dresden Brass Wreath! Im always on the lookout for one. Nice tile piece too!
I looked it up and they're selling for $90-135. Great find!
I was coming here to tell her!!!! One of my unicorns!!!
Yes I always look for Dresden wreath. Found and sold 2. I found out about them from Crazy Lamp Lady.
TY,I couldn't think of it to save me. Selena has them, that use to ship for resale with Laura.
@@LisaGWoods I've never saw one that small.
Moppets I think the painting is my Daughter was born in 1968 and they were popular then , had some in her room and Holly hobby
It’s crazy watching you & Jocelyn (Crazy Lamp Lady) going to the same Goodwill picking up the same things! 🤯
I think that beaded hat is actually a tea cozy
Absolutely love the Harlequin (mood) plaque. Even though the match isn't with it, I believe it is great on its own. One of the prettiest I have seen.
I'm going to try to paint it in watercolors soon! My favorite find though is the animal wreath! My aunt and uncle had that in their home :)
the wreath--- Dresden petit choses (little things in French)
This is an Excellent Video of thrifting with a reseller.
I have seen these types of videos where resellers do thrift shopping. I usually have a difficult time watching these types of videos.
This is the first time 1 watched a thrifting video past 1-2 minutes. Your video is good at engaging the viewer. K
Love the pieces you picked up, Karen. Thanks for sharing your thought process on what to buy & what to leave, very interesting!
Hi Karen, Cat figurines! You always find the most interesting items! I believe that your area in PA has an amazing choice of donated items! Cheers,Pat
The silk square is not a scarf but a Japanese "carrying cloth" or furoshiki, used to tie around and carry multiple small bundles/bags/boxes.
Thank you!! 💜💜
Good morning Karen I see others have already beat me to it but yes that wreath looks like a Dresden. I saw that on the crazy lamp lady and I think they are big money so make sure you check that out. Have a great day and get some rest. I know for us resellers we don't know what rest is.😆
Karen- by now I’m sure you know what & how valuable your wreath is!!!! Congrats. One of the items I’m always on the look out for. ❤️
I recognized that wreath! It is a bucket list item for me.
I gasped when she found it!!
@@Bitty603 me too!!!
I found one in my gw last year and it sold for over $100!
The garden trowel was a door knocker
The crochet needles would have been a great buy.
You can find sterling ones too,my Gramma had some!
The wreath is Dresden - which is bank! Great score.
Found a Robert Graham dress shirt today thanks to you ...lovely lady and im sure I've passed it over many times in my years thrifting. Always learning in this line of work. Oh the reese eggs are my weakness 😉
Trowel was a door knocker. I would have bought those first re-partnered shams. Fun, as always!! I love crocheted or knitted afghans. There was a pretty pink one that didn't make your cut. Ah...
I am always happy when my husband wants to head to Lancaster! My daughter goes to Millersville University. I usually have good luck at that Good Will.
I loved the picture of the borzoi aka Russian sighthound
btw - I am finding waterford regularly - because it's one of those things the basic staff doesn't know at first site... andfolks don't know what to look for... gotta see that stamp!!!
Oh the urns! I kept saying , "but Karen I NEED these." Truthfully I don't but I loved them so much!
I found a 9 inch steuben handkerchief bowl bottom shelf goodwill clear glass
The wreath is not a card holder. It is a wreath called a “Petite Chose”. Somewhat valuable.
The plastic wall sconces are MCM. 😍😍😍
Yes, let’s call it 60’s moderne. I’m sure we had stuf like that back then hanging next to our faux early American furniture. Ha
You are finding really great items. Bravo!
Two thumbs up for my fellow RUclipsr / Reseller - I appreciate your videos and the work you do!
😁 😁 😁
That mood painting 😍😍😍😍😍 It was awesome to meet you! Thank you for taking us along 💕 Dawn
It was so nice to meet you! Thanks for saying hello 💜💜

My pricing is getting better! Spot on guessing what you would price!☺Happy sales, Ms. Karen!
My favorite were the dog and kitten figurines. I think you should have picked up the chocolate glazed pocket vases, they were large and easily $60 to $70 each. They were $20
Love the video, so many interesting items 😊 Also wanted to say thank you. Because of you, I picked up my first textile to sell! It’s a Woolrich quilt. I paid up for it a bit ($15) but only two have been listed in the last 6 months. One sold for $75 and there’s currently one listed for $175, both smaller than mine so I think I’ll do okay 😊
The wreath was an amazing find! So glad that folks have been chiming in on its purpose, name, etc. Thanks, Everyone!
Great score on the Dresden wreath!! So jealous
I don't know the Goodwill price of the crochet hooks in the case. They would probably sell for $20- $25. FYI
Great finds!
Was gonna tell you about the wreath and crochet needles but everyone else already did!
I stopped heading into goodwill. The prices at the goodwill's near my home have skyrocketed.
Nice fabric in the drapery.
Oh!!! That dog in the picture is a Borzoi ❤️
Woulda bought the plastic brown candlestick sconces for myself!😃
aw, Lancaster. you're not far from me. I'm in Southwestern PA. (Westmoreland County). 😊
Garden Trowel at minute mark 2 is a Cast Iron door knocker.
I would have bought all those stay fresh containers! We really go through those at my house! Lol!
I have a storage unit, anyhow one of the units is filled with linen. Its an outside unit that isn't under air. We're in South Florida so I can't even imagine that. Seems like everytime I go to my unit someone is always adding more linens
Max Talks back is like Simon
Follow the colors
I crochet and knit and would grab those hooks in a case!
Wow, a Williams Sonoma garden door knocker, why didn't you buy that?
Great haul! You made me laugh with the Reese's wrapper evidence. Lol!
Hey you could have sold those clowns for reefer holders! Lol!😂
Silk scarf is of Mt fugi.
They called crocheting hooks I believe.I keep mine in old glass case.lol
Karen , I would love to have the crochet hooks , I'm disabled and do crafts to keep from going totally crazy ! Lol let me know if they are still there please and how much.
Ohh that wreath!! Looks like Dresden 🤩 I neeeed it Karen but I don’t think I can afford what you’ll be able to charge for it
Great haul, and video!
You are definitely a professional picker 🥰
Hello Karen, Thanks for the video.
Who has the time for puzzles? I do!
That’s the benefit (of many) for being a reseller😂 We can make time.
And I too booked my vacation for September 👍
I'm sure someone might have already told you..but that wreath is worth at least $65...some of the big ones go for over $100...Key Word: Petite Choses (yes Choses with an "s")
Great finds
I think that rusty metal object was a door knocker for a gardener.
That wreath is a high dollar piece but for the life of me i can't remember what its brand is. It is usually signed.
The wreath would normally be found more in a antique store. I've never saw the small size. I don't know what she goes by now on her channel but it use to be Laura and Selena. They flea mkt.barn sales, thrift, antique store shop. Well use to. Selena has those wreaths. It comes with different stuff on it. I no there is 2 different kinds. Maybe more! I love the size you found.
How much ch for the baby formula in the blue isle?
Hi Karen, enjoying from Illinois.
Hi, the painting is called big eyes and is great for selling.
Is that a Dresden brass wreath??
Yes 😂
I have a capidomonti. It is damaged. Too bad.
2 elephants in a chair-no thank you. Hahaha
Watch Dr. Lori...you would learn what prints and items and things to look for.
You may already be aware of her.
I talk about Dr. Lori all the time!
Karen- next time grab the Crochet needles!
The metal thing looked like a door knocker.
Look up Dresden wreath.
Do your goodwills make deal with you? Sometimes I will talk to a manager and get some knocked off the price...like those drapes. Doesn’t hurt to ask.
Not since they have added a UPC to every item
Dresden wreath
The wreath looks like a Dresden.
Your pretty no matter what, and I don't see any bags!
😘
Gee,girl, rest up and keep care of yourself,we need you healthy!!😎🤪
I should add, she was 88 when she passed . I was 16 years. She never bought anything new for herself. Or anything for that matter. She was simple in that way.
Oh no! That little black box was Russian! You should have taken it.
May I ask what video editing software you use for your channel, I'm looking for a better one for mine?
Filmora Wondershare
Good morning Karen
Maybe if you come down on your prices, you may can sale more items 😟
I sell over $100k every year 💜
I believe you have a Dresden Christmas wreath
Yep, at least it's the same style... They are usually antique... Really cool
Very good $$$$
Yep. Great money there.
Yes amazing find!
Most likely Dresden style, vintage from the 70s, 80s. still sell well 😁
20 dollars was fine for those urns. You could have flipped them for 80 to 100 at least.
Ruth is not meant to hold cards. They sell for high dollar
Mish "mash" lol
“Mish Mash Aisle”. Karen, are you partly Jewish? That’s so cute
I’m not but am a New Yorker!
