Kagura has a very special place in my heart, when I first played Mobile Legends I thought it was just like any other online game but the moment I saw an enemy use her I fell in love with her so I bought her, I practiced week after week just to perfect and hone my skills to master her. She literally has everything, Poking skills, Burst Damage, Crowd Control(Slow,Stun and Knockback) anti CC skill and most of all her long ranged attack, she's the hero that got me to the Mythic tier, I won my first tournament using her, I became an MCL season champion because of her, I dominated 7 freaking weeks of MCL championships because of her. I got my first beginner, junior, and senior medal because of her. She's my go to hero, She's who I run to whenever I encounter a pro opponent. We've been together for 3 years now and Honestly she's perfect just the way she was. I freaking wasted sleepless night just to master her and now I'm the current 1st rank in Loal rank in the Philippines, I rank # 8 on world rank, I have 4895 matches with her, Honestly with this new revamp I might actually re-study her, she's completely ruined. It makes me sad that Moonton revamped her and practically made her a sitting duck in the battlefield. I hope they restore the old purple ult but keep SOME of the changes. Like the 1.5 sec drag to the center but I'd also like the links back. They could do both actually but to generate the links with a max of 3 heroes only primarily those closest to the umbrella and still drag them back. Meh Just a suggestion. But all in all I don't think this, revamping her, was a Good Idea at all.
same case with me. when i started playing ml, it was the time that kagura was still in banned heroes in rank, along with johnson and karina that time. i started practicing her day by day cause the harder i feel using her the more i became challenged. this revamp totally ruined her i haven't been angry like this with my whole life

her ult its not that bad since her first skill is fast so you will have time to use the the first skill to enemy that out of her purple ult but its kinda uselss for hero that doesn't have escaped skill like dash or blink
You have to use her passive effectively, which is to stun nearby enemies if she teleport to her umbrella. In that way, enemies cant escape from her pink ulti. You just have to perform the full combo in in just 1.5 s.
when using ult it seems we have to drag it first before ult draws the area around inside the circle, that's what makes it a little more difficult compared to the old

Because of how the new kagura ultimate works, she will be more focused on ganking and hiding in bushes since she needs to prepare her skills. Kagura will have a hard time with a sudden encounter or fighting head on against heroes with many dashes and high mobility and missing the combo will give a high chance of kagura dying because there is delay and no damage from her off umbrella ultimate. Plus, enemy can clearly see the animation of her new ultimate and they can predict when it will cc. She's like an assasin now...

for everyone who's upset: - the pull of her violet ult now only takes 1.5s to take effect (compared to the old 3s), which means she can do her 13123 combo much faster - her violet ulti also has higher damage now, so her early game potential is buffed - also her umbrella is faster and has a larger hitbox
Ask Karina 😞 She was my main hero and I liked her so much especially she could give a lot of savages ... but before the revamp !! Now I don't even sure it was buffed or nerfed.

Her first and second damage also got slightly nerfed which they didn't mention in the patch. But if you are Karina main, you should know the secret nerfs. According to system, the 3 lowest win rate heroes in this patch include Karina.

Not kinda useful it's *NEEDED* to 1 shot squishy in mid/late game. Bcz kag is squishy herself, after revamp you have to 1-3-1-2 to even 1 shot a mm, now it's really good bcz you don't have to use 2nd skill to 1 shot (now 1-3-1), that 2nd skill jump in, is soo risky is late gm
Don't worry the change was only in the Ult where instead of enemies linked gets pulled to the umbrella, it can pull anyone within the umbrella's range after the few second of casting since the link is removed BUT here's the thing, there are no more slows in the ultimate since there's no more link to slow the enemies with.
I knew that Kagura would be revamped but now that I main her, this revamp just breaks my heart. Edit: Her skills are complicated now and her burst skills are my main damage dealers so seeing now that you have to wait for 1.5s for her pink ulti to deal damage and pull in enemies is just sad
This is my opinion only, for me it's really not a nerf, there's a new effect on her ult that explodes and it deals a ton of damage plus the cd of the yin yang overturn (violet one) is now 1.5 seconds, which if we compare to the original server, it has a lower cd. If you will do a full combo it can still one shot squishy heroes. Sadly, the links on her ult is now gone :( Btw I already tested her and it was pretty decent for me. There is also a part that I hate the most, it's her animation -_-

The trade off is we can cast it and control when to drag the umbrella to the enemies for the damage to kick in. We'll get used to it eventually Tho they upgraded the animations, I loved the original twirl she did when you use the blink skill

Speaking as a kag main, now you have to 1-3-1-2 instead of 1-3-1 for squishy 1 shot, it might as well can take full combo 1-3-1-2-3-1 to even kill a mm It's bs, I want old kag to stay forever. As for the looks & recall, no meta horse cares, & for the faster travel speed, you can predict enemy's move/precisely place ur umbrella, which isn't a hard thing to do. She's gonna be epic tier mage after this, if they don't add amg to her dark ult again.

The Kagura revamped is more harder now. Because when she throw her umbrella before if u ulti there's a cable connecting to the enemy and because of that its just so easy to captured enemy, plus factor; to make them slow. But now since there's no cable anymore u really need to measure or wait for the right timing so that ur ulti will not be useless. Since there's no cable ur enemy won't slow anymore and they can easily escape.
oh... with the explanation about how the damage works on her ulti. it feels she became more of a mage support (to set the enemies) than a killer mage now? :c
A suggestion for her ult since the 'line' on her ult is gone, once you use ur ult the enemy should be pulled immediately once they try to go out of range.
Since the lines was removed, and no damage when red ult is activated, you can just activate it inside a bush, then throw it in the enemy(ies), which is nice, but lot of hastle😭

They basically removed the most cruicial part about her purple ult which is the slow effect and damage to her link to which they ALSO removed. As a Kagura main her purple ult is literally a turning point in late game because of her capability to one shot (1-3-1) squishy heroes such as mms or junglers. I like her new design and also how they made her first skill faster and can cover more area now. I can accept it if they nerf her damage but please not her ultimate. Of course I am willing to give this a chance but In my opinion It’ll probably be a little difficult to get used to her new ult if they continue this one.

My thoughts as a mg kagura main 1. Buff to teamfight potential, as you can control where you want to apply the red ulti damage during team fights 2. Buff in ambushing potential, because the 1 in bush > 3 1 combo certainly has more element of surprise than the old 131 combo, and also more damage as well. I'm omitting the subsequent 2>3 combo because I'm expecting enemies to blink away if the old 131 combo does not kill them. At least, with the new 1 in bush > 3 1 combo, you can follow up more easily with the 2>3 combo. Though this certainly puts yourself in danger 3. Nerf to overall full damage potential, as the comments have pointed out it is easier to escape the red ult damage 4. If the carry is out of position, this revamp allows Kagura to catch them better. When you do the 1>3 combo, we can expect enemies to blink away. The old kagura will never be able to catch them escaping but the new kagura still can, because she can close in with 2>1 and still apply the red ulti burst damage onto the carry. 5. The visuals of the link between kagura and the umbrella is a nerf, because now you cannot properly tell when the umbrella is returning to your body (when moving away from it). You can only gauge the distance. 6. Happy that the umbrella is moving faster now :) Feels like the distance you need to make the umbrella return to you is further. Thats bad :( 7. If the red ulti does not stop the movement of the umbrella in flight, this revamp is a buff overall because her combo is a lot smoother. With fast fingers, activating the red ulti while the umbrella is flying to its destination is a huge plus as it quickens the time to proc the pull effect of the ulti. Overall this makes Kagura a lot harder to play, and despite the buffs, I'd still want her the old way because not being able to do the 13123 instant deletion combo also means it's harder for Kagura to snowball mid game. And I'd rather do a half fk 131 damage on the carry and let my team finish him off, than to not do any damage with the revamped changes when the enemy can blink away and avoid all my damage
There is no problem for me because I do not use the machines well, but I will definitely find a way and a combo to adapt to the situation and I am sure if you use the machines well with your team it will be great and also they may not do this revamp

Its only at the start but soon you'll be able to find a way just like a new hero,at first we think its an useless hero or op hero and we dont know how to play it but every game we improve our gameplay and manage to use the new hero better and better..but tbh, i still like the old kag but we'll soon see on this revamp if it can manage to be in the meta.
When you 1,3,1 isn't it automatically pull the enemies? If it is then,the instant damage combo is still there. From my point of view, this is a buff on the gameplay side. Please correct me if i'm wrong, 1,3,1(pulled),2(stun),3 if somehow the enemy survived it, you can just use petrify and dash out 😅

Same as me i have also played her for a year haha. What i am worried about is, is she still good to burst dame as before or not? In my opinion, old Kagura is good in burst dame but in team fight at late game she is not as good as other mages. I have watched many streams of Kagura pro players and see that they lose even they have good KDA, because early game Kagura is really strong and can easily burst any squishy heroes. For the new Kagura, I think she is good in team fight but i’m afraid she can’t burst anymore, which will turn her to a more support hero
@@TienTran-ex2xd I'd say if they add a slow on her pink ulti again (in the radius of the flower thingy), she'll prolly stay the same albeit a tad bit weaker on the burst side but more utility and less reactable first skill.
I think with her new ulti, she can be an effective ambush hero. She can put the umbrella in yhe bush and activate the ulti when enemy's approaching! But her link to the umbrella will be the disadvantage if enemy noticed it
If you can't deal damage on her red ultimate, use combo 1-2-3-2-1 and use red ulti for set it if they escape. It's not bad as they think but I see this good and harder to use.
Technically you can still do the one shot combo if you have fast hands, as soon as you ult, immediately use the second skill to stun the enemies, then ult again after you pull the enemies
Yes, you can do that. But there will be some scenarios where you can't just suicide jump using the 2nd skill to multiple enemies. Kagura is still a mage after all she can die easily IF she failed to kill the enemies after the combo.

I think to get the burst damage like before u just got to press the 2nd skill right after the red ultimate so u can walk around if they are walking away from the umbrella (just my opinion)

There's literally no slow AND no damage. Some justify it by saying you can move it anywhere and not worry about lines like the old one, but the damage plays a big part. Talk about timing all you want except it'll take much slower to deal damage now

I actually love how they made kagura much harder to use. Played her revamped in advance and i loved it.
You have to use her passive effectively, which is to stun nearby enemies if she teleport to her umbrella. In that way, enemies cant escape from her pink ulti. You just have to perform the full combo in in just 1.5 s.
when using ult it seems we have to drag it first before ult draws the area around inside the circle, that's what makes it a little more difficult compared to the old

Because of how the new kagura ultimate works, she will be more focused on ganking and hiding in bushes since she needs to prepare her skills. Kagura will have a hard time with a sudden encounter or fighting head on against heroes with many dashes and high mobility and missing the combo will give a high chance of kagura dying because there is delay and no damage from her off umbrella ultimate. Plus, enemy can clearly see the animation of her new ultimate and they can predict when it will cc. She's like an assasin now...

- the pull of her violet ult now only takes 1.5s to take effect (compared to the old 3s), which means she can do her 13123 combo much faster
- her violet ulti also has higher damage now, so her early game potential is buffed
- also her umbrella is faster and has a larger hitbox
You cant do the 131232 combo since she pushes the enemies but the pull is a tad bit short to damage them

Her first and second damage also got slightly nerfed which they didn't mention in the patch. But if you are Karina main, you should know the secret nerfs.

This is my opinion only, for me it's really not a nerf, there's a new effect on her ult that explodes and it deals a ton of damage plus the cd of the yin yang overturn (violet one) is now 1.5 seconds, which if we compare to the original server, it has a lower cd. If you will do a full combo it can still one shot squishy heroes. Sadly, the links on her ult is now gone :( Btw I already tested her and it was pretty decent for me. There is also a part that I hate the most, it's her animation -_-

The Kagura revamped is more harder now. Because when she throw her umbrella before if u ulti there's a cable connecting to the enemy and because of that its just so easy to captured enemy, plus factor; to make them slow. But now since there's no cable anymore u really need to measure or wait for the right timing so that ur ulti will not be useless. Since there's no cable ur enemy won't slow anymore and they can easily escape.

A suggestion for her ult since the 'line' on her ult is gone, once you use ur ult the enemy should be pulled immediately once they try to go out of range.
Since the lines was removed, and no damage when red ult is activated, you can just activate it inside a bush, then throw it in the enemy(ies), which is nice, but lot of hastle😭

Her combo really hit hard. Moonton should apply the damage on first phase and also to the pull part so we, Kagura mains, are satisfied for her revamp.
They basically removed the most cruicial part about her purple ult which is the slow effect and damage to her link to which they ALSO removed. As a Kagura main her purple ult is literally a turning point in late game because of her capability to one shot (1-3-1) squishy heroes such as mms or junglers.
I like her new design and also how they made her first skill faster and can cover more area now. I can accept it if they nerf her damage but please not her ultimate. Of course I am willing to give this a chance but In my opinion It’ll probably be a little difficult to get used to her new ult if they continue this one.

My thoughts as a mg kagura main
1. Buff to teamfight potential, as you can control where you want to apply the red ulti damage during team fights
2. Buff in ambushing potential, because the 1 in bush > 3 1 combo certainly has more element of surprise than the old 131 combo, and also more damage as well. I'm omitting the subsequent 2>3 combo because I'm expecting enemies to blink away if the old 131 combo does not kill them. At least, with the new 1 in bush > 3 1 combo, you can follow up more easily with the 2>3 combo. Though this certainly puts yourself in danger
3. Nerf to overall full damage potential, as the comments have pointed out it is easier to escape the red ult damage
4. If the carry is out of position, this revamp allows Kagura to catch them better. When you do the 1>3 combo, we can expect enemies to blink away. The old kagura will never be able to catch them escaping but the new kagura still can, because she can close in with 2>1 and still apply the red ulti burst damage onto the carry.
5. The visuals of the link between kagura and the umbrella is a nerf, because now you cannot properly tell when the umbrella is returning to your body (when moving away from it). You can only gauge the distance.
6. Happy that the umbrella is moving faster now :) Feels like the distance you need to make the umbrella return to you is further. Thats bad :(
7. If the red ulti does not stop the movement of the umbrella in flight, this revamp is a buff overall because her combo is a lot smoother. With fast fingers, activating the red ulti while the umbrella is flying to its destination is a huge plus as it quickens the time to proc the pull effect of the ulti.
Overall this makes Kagura a lot harder to play, and despite the buffs, I'd still want her the old way because not being able to do the 13123 instant deletion combo also means it's harder for Kagura to snowball mid game. And I'd rather do a half fk 131 damage on the carry and let my team finish him off, than to not do any damage with the revamped changes when the enemy can blink away and avoid all my damage

In my opinion, old Kagura is good in burst dame but in team fight at late game she is not as good as other mages. I have watched many streams of Kagura pro players and see that they lose even they have good KDA, because early game Kagura is really strong and can easily burst any squishy heroes. For the new Kagura, I think she is good in team fight but i’m afraid she can’t burst anymore, which will turn her to a more support hero

If you can't deal damage on her red ultimate, use combo 1-2-3-2-1 and use red ulti for set it if they escape. It's not bad as they think but I see this good and harder to use.
That combo is hard to suggest... You need atleast cd reduction for her

Technically you can still do the one shot combo if you have fast hands, as soon as you ult, immediately use the second skill to stun the enemies, then ult again after you pull the enemies
yeah but if you messed up and use the blue-ult (knock back) first, you just help the enemy to avoid the purple-ult (pull)
Yes, you can do that. But there will be some scenarios where you can't just suicide jump using the 2nd skill to multiple enemies. Kagura is still a mage after all she can die easily IF she failed to kill the enemies after the combo.
To stun u have to go near the enemy and that's not possible in every gank. I feel it's a small nerf..
@@kinpagimpa absolutely agree she cant do that instant burst now, meaning in war/ganking/late game if the enemy core/mm/support manage to evade first kag will just literally giving free kill because now she need to gets closer to have burst damage while before the 1-3-1 is already doing high damage

I think to get the burst damage like before u just got to press the 2nd skill right after the red ultimate so u can walk around if they are walking away from the umbrella (just my opinion)

Instead of a shorter time to pull while using ultimate, they should just add a manual activation for it
I guess the new ult is better for ambush from the bush to give the enemies less time to react to the ult(open) when u pull the umbrella to them
