In an interview the casting director actually said that they were very unnerved by Ewan's audition, he did make intense eye contact with everyone, and after that they didn't even consider anyone else. So, that's exactly how it went down lol

These two are actually so fun to watch together. Really give off brotherly vibes. The cast of HotD might be one of my favorite casts to watch, everyone just seems to really get along and despite the fame coming with shows as big as this, they seem really down to earth. Every bit of press or behind the scenes content just feels like watching a couple of mates just hanging out.

Season 2 made me realize that the Greens were always the interesting ones not the Blacks even though the showrunners are trying their best to ruin the green characters
As a life-long NYer, I need sequel to this where Tom and Ewan try the chicken over rice halal food cart, cannolis, Brooklyn blackout cake and some good Italian food.

Also the editing is so fun in this, and also the way they and the background are composed together/the camera angle on the full body shots is so beautiful.
