Signing and developing them are 2 different things. We signed Santos and casadei and we havent given them anytime to develop and now we are about to sell one. Carney was gievn time and you could see glimpses. So buying doesnt mean anything, you have to develop them.

With Enzo Meresca's system, a short striker with pace and close control will thrive. I don't see Guiu seating on the bench regularly, he will be more involved in the starting lineup than a bit-par role, unless we have another striker that fits into the system.

Niinii great work as always. I just have to say something about Calafiori. I’ve searched to see as much of him as I possibly could and he’s a talented defender. If CFC/Maresca are looking for a defender to invert, he’s ideal. The last stretch of the szn when Cucu was showing new form inverting into midfield was great to see. It was one match(I wish I could remember who we played) that Cucu started the game coming into the midfield and he was getting pressed on the ball. The few games before that he seemed fit to do it but once teams figured it out they knew that Cucu was the weak link. His issue is that he has to have space to see what he’s going to do with the ball. He isn’t quick thinking out on the pitch. He can be solid in that role but I don’t think he’s robust enough. What I’ve liked about Calafiori is he’s quick with his movement, progressive, and technically good enough to work the press. It would be a nice signing if we could make it happen 💙💙💙
Ill be glad if we can land Jonathan David and Calafiori and be done for the summer transfer so we can start preseason training with all our players by the time the Euros end.

Yeah I get you but we sold Livramento straight from the academy for €26m. And Hall for over €30m with just over 800 senior minutes for us. The market for talented youth players is just changing, and we have certainly been a driver of that change.
And although the club will receive payments for Hutchinson in instalments, it’s still accounted for all at one time.
I like enciso he’s a great player but please no more Brighton I’ve had enough of that team I want nothing to do with them. We are linked with all these players but we haven’t sold enough again we are a team full of too much potential, if anything we need a great goal keeper

Thank you the home kit looks really good but youness and his fans are talking down the design. I swear sometimes youness fans are brain dead and repeat the same rhetoric without actually thinking why they dont like it. I like the abstract feel to the kit, unsual yes but unusual can sometimes be good. The home kit stands out from the traditional look.
How can we keep spending like this for kids ... we need winners guy that know what it is to be counted on week in week iut , guys that have responsibilities and understanding of taking it apon yourself to get the job done ... we are replicating brighton in thinking but exp man cuty results

I have to admit to being a traditionalist when it comes to CFC kit designs. for me, Nike's first CFC kit was their best. As for the new home kit, it reminds me of a home made 'Tie Dye' or that someone has left bleach in the washing machine.
The FA cup anniversary kit, champions league winning kit and last season's kit for me are absolutely perfect. The rest have been poor to above average. But opinions I guess

@@BlueLionsTVNiiNiiFC I'm worried at the moment that we are following a project model similar to the likes of the Red Bull teams and Brighton. Dont get me wrong I admire their projects but it hasn't brought any success. What's wrong with copying Real Madrids model or Man City where you buy the best available with experience and pedigree and adding young players to that. It feels like we are throwing lots of darts at a board and hoping one lands.
