I lost my faith in them in 2000 when they stopped the recount in Florida and awarded the election to Bush. They showed that they were partisan then and they are showing they are very partisan now by delaying Trump's cases until after the election.

If the court is going to be political then they should have to campaign for office and be elected just like every other politician. The Constitution gave the Supreme Court lifetime appointments so that they wouldn't have to be political and would just concentrate on legality and the constitution. This court is doing the opposite of what the Constitution intended, and therefore cannot work for we the people.

to impeach and remove a Supreme Court Justice it would require 2/3 vote by the senate(66 votes), and currently Republicans hold 50 seats out of 100.. They won't impeach, bc then Biden would be able to pick a liberal-friendly judge to replace him.

He absolutely COULD be impeached. It would take a majority vote in the U.S. House of Representatives, where Republicans are currently in the majority. But to be removed, he would have to be convicted by a 2/3 vote in the U.S. Senate, an almost impossible bar.

To be fair, the upside down flag is a pre-existing flag positioning for times of danger and situations of conflict. However, the key facts to Alito's complicity is timing. It came at a time when sore losers were abusing the symbol and at a time when any reasonable focus of danger had passed.

The flag flown upside down means "I am in distress", it is an appeal for help. For A Supreme Court judge or his wife to fly it outside their home is a sign that Alito must recuse himself from any judgment concerning Trump. The Supreme Court is the Final judge on issues of great importance. There is NO EXCUSE for expressions of partisan politics from its Justices.
