Shout out to sportsman direct, Great shop, John supplies a lot of custom items you can't find locally. I love some of his custom painted ice fishing lures, along with the rattle tube hooks that he makes! not to mention he will take the time to stop and talk to ya in his shop which always makes me feel good when i stop in!!
Thank you for your updates. A nice addition to updates would be a lake map behind you that you could point to areas that might be productive as the season progresses.
Could you bring up the no Wake laws leaving and coming back in at the new launch at Crocker . Also the power loading that is going to reck the gravel laid down at the ramps .I could write 20 to 50 tickets a day
Imma betting man & I'll bet had you ask what times these catches happened. You would have seen early mornings shallow Late morning to early noon mid range & afternoon deep. I wait till around 10am to launch just because l like catching fish in deep water 15fow to 35fow & l know fish are a lot like humans & like air-condioning to on hot days & thats deep water my friend.
Boat traffic is shutting that channel bite down hard... avoid the boats, catch the fish, per usual. Those perch and walleyes really like a Drop Shot. =)
How about picking up ur trash or every time you go out you pick up your trash and one extra piece I’ve been watching old men in there 40sand 50s leaving worm containers and throwing plastic out there boat

Thanks man! Wish I had more time to paint these days...
Man, I'm not that far away and we've been in the 90s! Crazy it makes that much of a difference but I know how the lakeside can differ from inland.

I am always reluctant to point to specific locations or circle locations on a map because it makes it even more crowded in these areas.

Same here north of the lake
Thanks a lot for the shoutout John! I appreciate it buddy!
You bet
I'm only an hour north and it's hot hot! Mid 90's feels like a 100. Been in the house three days straight 😊
Most people have no shame,so shame away until your heart content.

Yes I would agree for the most part.

Well their ice fisherman that bought a boat with their covid unemployment money.... They don't know any better.
We should all strive to leave a location better than we found it.
