Toned, and free of scratches, with
the doubling you have just described
It has to have come out of a piggy
bank, or the like. Sending to NGC on

Thank you. I found one but I haven't yet looked for the doubling you mentioned. I do confirm however that it was indeed hard to fine out of the 4 or 5 rolls I hunted thru. I got ten times as many 1965's out of those rolls and was able to get only one 1983 D.

Hi, l got a 1966p quarter in change this morning. I'd say its about a MS 60 to 62 grade with minimal wear. It has thick lettering on liberty, and double on quarter dollar. If it's worth at least $300, that a pretty nice find.
