- Ochette is derived from the Italian name Ochetta, meaning silly, naive girl and gosling.
Ochette is the first playable character in the series who isn’t human.
All signs point to being more enjoyable than the previous entry but only time will tell! I have not played through the whole game yet.

EN Ochette is Silly while JP Ochette is Goofy
JP Ochette is too precious. Considering how almost everyone else's story is a tragedy, I imagine that her innocence heals them a little bit on their journey. Castii has a mother-daughter relationship with her and she treats Osvald like a father.
That is a sweet way of thinking about things. I always value that super happy person in the group because it helps balance the atrocities in most games.
That's her victory howl? It sounds lame in Japanese.
You think so? The English one is a small wolf howl. Not too sure which I like better, I haven't gotten far enough into this game with trying both. The English has been very good and I prefer Ochette's speaking voice in it over the Japanese. My buddy loves the Japanese rawr sound effect, so I figured I would single it out for her. I'll add up the English one and the comparison.
