So far I've nailed my resolutions. Lost 20 pounds, got out of debt, saved some money, kept down my job, got a raise and about to start school for the coming 2 years with my employer paying for it.
Bart Van Riel good Job!!!
Nice!
Awesome!!!
Bart Van Riel ...the army? Lol
Congrats. Way to go!
Don't need a recharge; just a mini power up! On baby step 2, taking chunks out of our debt, working like a maniac, gearing up for my junior year of nursing and I even managed to lose 20lbs.! I'm so excited to see how much my husband and I pay down on debt by the end of this year!
IM SCREAMING “are you gonna actually
Make a budget or just listen for entertainment ?!” HE IS DRAGGING ME
I would protest but what he said is true, i lost focus in june and july and didn't write my budget for those two months but I'm back on track again...i always looked at dave like an uncle who smack you in the head when you did something stupid with money
He is to funny. So truthful it hurts in a good way. God bless him for helping us reprogram our minds.
I don't smoke, save money, I'm out of debt, and I've lost weight this year! :) I'm pretty awesome... lol
You are! Good job sir!
I'm just going to listen for entertainment, thank you.
Abrahanmoya - sameeeeee
Abrahanmoya pmsl
Preach
He's right about the gym... Lol. And the other stuff. I never make resolutions. Always looking for ways to improve things. Did become debt free in May. On baby step 3!!! Almost done!

I have yet to meet a person who sticks to a resolution. Just make a list of legit goals and accomplish some of them before you add anymore. I have a list of 10 goals. I will not add anymore until I complete some. It is about being realistic whether that is about your health, finances, whatever. Just pick some goals and make them happen people. Not hard.
I am starting now and starting FPU in September 13th. I'm happy I am starting right in the middle of being 18 and going to be 19 on September 4th. Thank you Dave for showing me to how to start the year right.
Had plastic surgery in 2005, been great ever since!!
I always do my resolutions in Sept instead of January. I'm full of vitamin D, vim and vigor in Sept. By January, it's been grey and rainy for a long time and I'm feeling less inspired.
No reset needed here. 15k + paid off sense January and there is no slowing down.
I don't drink, don't smoke no debt and saving money each month it's a great feeling. Keep working to achieve my long term goals. Thank you, Dave :)
Dave you are such an inspiration
Great speech!! Thanks Dave!!
I'll be debt-free in late Q1 or early Q2 2018. I was planning on Q4 2017, but I didn't get the promotion I was hoping for.
i got zero credit cards AND i been keepin my wallet in my front pocket for at least 7 years.
In the wrong hands, credit cards are the devils playground.
Yep - like a chainsaw, handy when you need it, not much good in reckless hands.
I love ur knowledge ..knowledge is power ...we must share these videos with our familys , friends , etc ...share the knowledge the mainstream goverment doesnt want us to know th3 truth about bieng a consumer
I started learning a Greek book back in February with a goal to study and finish it by next year. It won't happen. I hit baby step 4 in March and then started reading all I could get my hands on with regards to investing and put the Greek aside. It just lost importance over what was in front of me immediately.
Crikey, it’s now 2019 and his comments are still relevant, it’s like he can see all the skeletons in my closet including the three credit cards stashed in an envelope in my drawer. I haven’t used any of them in three months it’s just taking me a while to build up the nerve to cut them up. 😳
Annette Powell have you been able to sit down and cut them up so far? Would be nice to know if you already did so 😊 are the credit cards closed already? Then cut them up right away 😉
Making my budget right now!
I had three memorial services for three credit cards. A proper plasectomy. It was a quick memorial though. Now my data with self made cash are beautiful.
I just cut up my card with the $6000 limit. I'm keeping my Amazon rewards Visa! I have all my monthly bills on auto-pay to the Amazon rewards card and an auto-pay on that for the exact amount of my bills. The card lives in my safe not in my wallet!
I know someone will say "it'll make you spend more on Amazon!" I have spent $103 on their website this year. I really enjoy the free sunglasses and motorcycle mirrors I got with rewards points from paying my bills.
Debt causing your back to hurt 😂😂😂
Just think, so many people using a credit card to pay for Physio and Chiropractic treatments because of back pain caused by a wallet full of credit cards! 😂😂
I stopped using a wallet years ago. I carry 2 cards, drivers liscence and my debit card. Nothing alse needed.
When he made the comment about a 4inch wallet and I immediately thought of George on Seinfeld
Amazing video
Thanks!!!
It requires an explosion “BOOM” 💥
8 months in and I'm not finished reading the Old Testament yet. smh // Time to refocus
Alfienyka Stinson by the time you're done you'll be an atheist
Alfienyka Stinson keep reading 🙏🏻
Get into a Bible study group. It's so much more easy and fun that way.
I make 106 and wife makes 82 and were broke its time to change
Congratulations on the 25 years I wish I would've heard you 25 yrs ago I would be a Millionaire
U miss “b”
If it really matters, you change it now
so if I wanted to buy my own truck as a semi driver go into debt to buy it you would recommend I don't no loans no debt of any kind stay where I'm at as a company driver or I could do a owner lease program with a company which leaves most of the burden onto them but it pays a little less than owner operator please advise thanks Richard Douglas
it's not a wallet it's an organizer, a Secretary and a friend. -George Castanza
LOL!!! Love that Dave!!!
Plasectimy 🤣
For those keeping their plastic for points what about all the annual fees? It adds up
@ Daveramsey my back hurts so much because my wallet is so thick with,,,,,,, BEAT DROPS, CASH HAHAHA , get out of debt people it is awesome to be debt free!!!
How much should you have in savings at 30? 😔
Dave Ramsey needs to write his autobiography. ❤
Lipstick and Big Macs interesting combo
Have never budgeted in my life and I spend less than I make each month. "numbers are 6th grade math stupid".
Love it!!
Can you purchase a Big Mac that early?
That's the same thing I was wondering 😂
lol American Express coffins
CHOP IT UP!!!!! 😂🤣😂🤣😂
RemiBeauty87 how are you
8/21/17. Did you watch the eclipse?
great video, you"ve got some real clowns in your audience tho!
6th grade math, love it!
Dave, you need to change the name of your show to "Dave Ramsey's Fiscal Therapy"
Does anyone know if painting would be a good career choice in the long run
I want to say that if you want to be sucessfull in the art/music field, you need to know more about buisness managment and marketing than art/music
Should I cut my debit card up
No, it’s same as cash 😂
What is the equivalent of 'every dollar' app for U.K market? @daveramsey
I'm in the UK and use this app called "fudget." I joke that it means fun budget because it makes budgeting so easy. The only difference that I can see from every dollar is that fudget doesn't let you create a budget within a spending category but I solve that by having my main monthly budget then other little budgets such as: transport, lunch and miscellaneous.
Oh I am not a fan of every dollar I’m just to old I guess? (I say at 24) paper and pen works great for me! But is plan is life changing
Dave, stop yelling. That black foamy thing next to your mouth is a microphone.
it's supposed to hype you up
Oceanrust4 exactly bro
🔥
I have wallet that fits in the front pocket
well I am watching this in August of 2018 :)
Sorry but every dollar sucks
@Charis McNamara because I don't like an app?? lol.. ok.. well that's ok.. what ever you think I am sure is correct.. I don't really care what you think.. I am debt free and traveling the world.. bhahahahahah
Same, seems to take longer than just pen and paper or spreadsheet. Plus if you really need reminders, they're pretty easy to make on phones. Do what works for you to make and stick with a budget. If the app demotivates you bc it annoys you, well don't use it
Im a f.t pedestrian/ bus rider .- DONT RUN LIGHTS
DONT STOP IN CROSSWALK.
GOT IT ?
❤️💋💕😘🍾🎊🍾
4:35 - I only watch this as entertainment and I plan to keep all of my credit cards. #NoPlasectomy
Randall Richardson let me know how that works out for you lol
Desert Rose - It's been working beautifully for the last 2 years soooooo 🙄
All of them? How many. I'm just too lazy to pay bills. It's a taste thing. Too much temptation for me to charge.
Alex Minor - Discover, Chase Freedom, Citi Double Cash, Chase Sapphire Reserve. I'm actually in negative debt. No balances on any of the cards except for one which is inn the negative (they owe me money).
Alex Minor - Also, there should be zero temptation to charge. I'm currently using Discover for nothing, Chase Freedom whenever I eat out or go to the movies, Chase Sapphire Reserve for travel, and Citi Double for any other purchases.
I don't fit Dave's audience so I just listen to the stories for entertainment.
