There's a few things I'd like to note LedZeper or Lee Jun-hee was the main composer from inception to 2005, his last set of works being the Aquaroad series. That's a detail that's been atleast confirmed by Lee himself on his blog. The were a few outsourced musics that were made for non-native (non-KTR) servers during this era but for the most part he's the one responsible for 90% of the older tracks. Studio EIM took over as the main composer in early 2006, with their first major works being the Leafre series. The reason why the name Lee Jun-hee is cited a lot on this topic is because CODASOUND was a one-person company. Studio EIM on the other hand, as I've come to know actually have a lot of producers, unfortunately it was never disclosed who in worked in which particular song.
Even outside of nostalgia there is something about the classic MapleStory music that's just magical and I don't think there will ever be another game with memorable music just like it

crazy that one dude made so many bangers. I think I only played up to level 30 pre big bang when I was a kid cus the levelling was so hard but the music is still firmly ingrained in my mind
I'm obsessed with this soundtrack honestly, it's abnormally inspired for just one dude. All the art in general in this game, visual or music, it gives me the impression that everyone was really at peace and enjoyed working on the game, with a carefree attitude and not much stress. The music is rich and features a WIDE variety of styles and genres, deeply researched and informed. I fucking love OG MapleStory, it's a beautiful work of art
I just came back recently, and the biggest thing i missed was the old login theme since i boot from the launcher. There really is something to the music of Maplestory
Great selection of music. My personal favourites are Lith Harbour (Above the Treetops) and Dreamy Forest Trail, but I also love most of the tracks in this game

Although i've moved on from this game, i still adore the soundtrack. I would come back to listen to all the music from pre-big bang and it would bring back memories. 😇
Just curious what music did SoundTeMP make for maplestory? They made really good music back in thr fay for RO, and would love for them to work on Maple again.
@ 3:37 I'm pretty sure SoundTeMP hasn't touched maple at all. There were rumors or fake news about them working on NLC but that's about it. But if I'm wrong, please lmk cause i wanna know which songs they made. I LOVE soundTeMP they made the best kmmorpg ost ever: RO.

I love Maple and RO music. Pretty sad that a lot of them are pretty much wasted now because people don't visit the maps and towns anymore.
