I listened to Norah Jones a lot in the 2000’s. Then life went on and I kinda of lost in touch with her music. Because of the pandemic and lockdown, I’ve watched RUclips more often lately and it made me to reconnect with her music. I realized I still love her songs so much. How unique and talented she is! Norah your music and voice is precious and effortless!!

My grandfather recently passed away, and this is the song and version I used in my video tribute to him (I hope you don't mind). This is such a poignant and nostalgic song - and most fitting during this pandemic when people can't say hello, or goodbye, to loved ones. What's more painful to us is just watching online (thru livestreaming) my grandfather's funeral. It feels so different from going there personally - it feels like there's no closure. Hoping this pandemic will end soon. Thank you, Norah for a beautiful rendition of this song.

I heard Norah Jones back in 2004. Back then, I wasn't that good in English and still today not that good lol but anyways, Her voice touched my soul, and from that day, I started listening to Norah. I started learning English more by translating all the words and my favorite song was Don't know why and even today still is. I translated this song in my language and I was wow what a beautiful lyrics 🙂
And my favorite lyric was I waited till I saw the sun... why? Because I was born and grew up in a small tiny island. Yapen Island West Papua. Back home, I love to watch the sunrise and the sunset. Now that I live in the State, I have my 2 little daughters, life is way different but Norah Jones is still the same in my heart and my 2 little daughters love her songs too.. 🙏🙏🙏

Sitting in your living room listening to you sing as if I was there is a special treat. I have a new appreciation for your music. I just recently went back and downloaded the Wax Poetic series of albums that you were a part of in the 80's. I loved that trip hop music. "Angel" is my favorite of course with that Haitian Creole spoken throughout the song. That song stands up even today 40 years later! Thank you Nora!
