1992 Toyota Corolla CE90 1.8D first start of the year

The car was parked for about 3-4 months in a garage. ODO meter is at 69 780 original kilometers. It has never been driven in the winter or on rainy days.

Have you ever had trouble turn the key to start position when it super cold outside? It always takes me a few minutes playing with it before it finally turns

Never happened to me. I would suspect the ignition switch is starting to act up. Maybe lubing or even changing it?

What's that thing you're pressing at 0:18?

I believe it's a manual fuel primer. It removes air from the fuel system which might have gotten where by the months of sitting. This is why it started so easily.

You are correct about it being a manual fuel primer. However the car starts easily like this even without priming the system. I used it here just for show lol.
