Slytherin isn’t a bad guy, just set in his ways. Although he did leave behind a deadly reptile with the sole purpose of murdering innocent children, which is pretty villainous.
Very true lol, just thought having an all bad character isn’t the most interesting choice
@@BryanSeeker That´s why I think Thanos and Killmonger are the best villians in the MCU. Both their plans are disastrous and needed to be stopped, but on the other hand you can see why they would have that point of view.
Lol
oh c'mmon...he locked it in magical cage I mean, who didn't do such things in rage? You know, make secret chamber, put dedliest ever reptile in it, then hide it with spells and whatnot....from what we've seen in wizarding world, Slytherin was far from evil, I would say, moody at worst :D
@@trujabgd dont Bring mad-eye into this
The Founders are basically Narnia’s Pevensie children all grown up and magical.
Peter = Gryffindor
Edmund = Slytherin
Lucy = Hufflepuff
Susan = Ravenclaw
Before he announced his choice for Young Ravenclaw, I was thinking of Anna Popplewell, who played Susan, would be good. But then he picked Morgana and I thought it was perfect. And the Four Kings and Queen of Narnia do just naturally fit into their respective Hogwarts Houses.
Who read Peter Griffin?
It falls apart in that it doesn't actually take into account Edmund's character arc in The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, let alone the rest of the Narniad. Here's a question for you which two characters in TLTWATW sacrifice their lives to defeat the Witch? Aslan, and... Edmund who is mortally wounded destroying the Witch's wand. He is not evil, he has a fall and redemption and goes on to be noble, good, and just. That sounds a long way off from Slytherin.
@@peterholden2016 ... yeah... but... Peter pettigrew was in Gryffindor and he was a coward, Snape was in Slytherin and was insanely brave, Lockhart was in Ravenclaw but was one of the worst students to pass through the doors of hogwarts, Merlin was also in Slytherin and was regarded as not only one of the greatest wizards of all time but also a heavy supporter of muggleborns and muggles. The sorting hat doesnt always get it right. As Dumbledor once said to Snape "I think we sometimes sort to early"
@@sgtwolf781 Yeah... but the original post I replied to was not an allocation of each of the Pevensies into a Hogwarts house, it was an identification of each of the with one of the founders stating not that Edmund is a Slytherin but that Edmund is basically Slytherin.
Ok you need to be hired by someone
... so he can hire *other* someones!
_I’ll leave now..._
I loved the idea of playing both the stories parallel as well as giving Slytherin a Magneto-like arc. You are brilliant Bryan
Slytherin having a magneto like arc is his cannon story. Salazar was a talented healer as well as combatant. Less evil more misguided.
@@xfoaxreaper2845 Yes but only hardcore Harry Potter fans know this. For the general movie goer, Slytherin has always been associated with evil. To them Voldemort is what ALL slytherins aspire to be, which is so NOT true, but you can blame Steven Kloves for that.
One scene I imagined to be the ending is after years of being apart from his friends Salazar did have a family but more out of counting his bloodline and to open the Chamber of Secrets. Perhaps he leaves them too and after more years of isolation he starts going mad from his guilt and is in very poor health. Perhaps be could also have an experience that changes his mind about Muggles and he sees the error of his ways. He makes his way to Hogwarts to destroy the chamber and beg for his friends forgiveness. He aperates close to Hogwarts and tries to sprint the rest of the way. But because of his health he collapses and has a stroke dying, never making it to Hogwarts. His Body is found and the founders have a funeral for him. Gryffindor gives the eulogy but after a few sentences in he stops and and has break down. Crying in front of everyone (important note I'd have it to where he never has cried in the series even after his fight with Salazar) it all hit him at once. His guilt and regret. He wished that in his early years he didn't do more to set Salazar on the right path, that he didn't tell him how much he really ment to him, that he pushed him away, that he didn't try to reach out, and that he died alone and bitter because he wasn't a good enough friend. He then retires from Hogwarts and after a few months he passes away. Then it would end with Salazar's heir opening the Chamber to carry out their ancestors will.
Magneto finds redemtion tho. Salazar just goes away and dies with rumors about his legacy that made it seem Luke he wanted to kill students and muggles alike.
Thankfully, one thing where Sean Bean won't get killed.
He didn’t die in the Silent Hill movies either, funnily that he dies in so many things but not a horror movie lol
Well if its a life story he'll die in the end
@@aaronokeeffe3708 He won't get killed though
*Laughs in Death*
@@CaptainPikeachu he also didn't die in Percy Jackson. I'll hide in a corner for mentioning that trash now
Absolutely NAILED Helga Hufflepuff. I’ve never been more proud to be a Hufflepuff.
"Did you ever hear the tradgedy of Salazar Slytherin"
How about Darth Plaegus the wise
@@tomrobertson7180 That's not a story Dumbledore would tell you
Second best scene in the Prequels.
@mcu fan I thought not. It's not a story Griffindors would tell you. It's a Slytherin legend. Salazar Slytherin was a Dark Lord of Slytherin House, so powerful and so wise he could use the dark arts to create spells to kill muggles…
Kevin He had such a knowledge of the dark arts...
I knew you’d cast Katie McGrath as Rowena Ravenclaw as she’s literally perfect for the role. Also good! Morgana is basically Ravenclaw anyway.
Agreed
You're so right!
Her character in Frontier was high brow as well. I think it's a perfect casting too.
Morgana was more of a slytherin decent or branch of a family tree literally but she looks like a younger Rowena Katie it’s a great choice
But wouldn't this series have its own morgan le frey. I mean isn't it established law merlin was a pupil of slytherin
In a way Gryffindor and Slytherin are like Magneto and Xavier as they see two ways as to how the fight against Humans is won. And the one with preexisting trauma thinks war is inevitable.
And in the end, Magneto and Xavier still manage to work together (Futures Past).
I think a Founders show, cast and directed the way Bryan has set the stage for, could put the two of them (Gryffindor and Slytherin) in a similar position (some defense of Hogwarts type thing) before sending them off on their separate ways.
Having them leave, not as enemies, but as past friends diverging on different life paths...
Sean Bean in "The Lord of the Rings"
Sean Bean in "James Bond"
Sean Bean in "Game of Thrones"
Sean Bean in "Harry Potter"
After that he only needs to play in a Star Wars movie.😏
Or Indiana Jones
And a Marvel or DC movie!
And get an Oscar.
I'd love to see the characters have regional accents, according to their places of origin. "Bold Griffindor from wild moor." AKA the West Country. "Fair Ravenclaw from glen" (Scotland). "Sweet Hufflepuff from valley broad" (Wales). "Shrewd Slytherin from fen" (Norfolk/Lincoln).
And to be honest... it kinda fits with their personalities. A rolicking boisterous bearded man with a gravely Cornish voice, a prim, sophisticated lady with a posher Edinburgh accent, a maternal figure with a soft rolling Welsh Valleys inflection, and a man who came up from the bottom, fighting his way to the top with a more "lower class" kind of accent, not the tight-laced RP you might expect.
“Wild moor” makes me think of Yorkshire, but yeah. I love a west country accent!
ETA: O wait I just remembered that Godric’s Hollow was in the West Country! Of course! 🤦🏻♀️
Yeah, while I really like this casting I was sorry he didn't take that into account. I've also seen it suggested that the "fen" Slytherin is from could refer to Ireland, which has a certain poetic quality to it because each of the Founders would then be from a different country that Hogwarts represents (it's where magical kids from the UK and Ireland are trained). But given the actual history between Ireland and England, it might fall into bad implications to have the Irish founder be the "bad" one, even if the story tries to show it's more complicated than that.
Mark Strong & Sean Bean are on POINT!
All these castings are on point
I would take this over any more Fantastic Beasts films.
Especially after the flop that was Crimes of Grindlewald
@@MinerDiner
I agree it was awful. I cannot go Ezra Miller. Do not like him as The Flash.
@@anubusx Not only that but like also the plot. Or lack thereof. Nothing really even happened in the movie. The only somewhat interesting (but also kinda random and unexplained) thing that happened is finding out Credence is somehow a supposed Dumbledore
@@MinerDiner I swear man...to me that whole movie is a blur and I think my brain has like automatically wiped it out of my memory.
They're gonna have to really blow us away with the sequel to make up for that mess.
@@saviodias3803 Honestly though. They gonna need a mircale if they want to keep the Fantastic Beasts series running while also trying to keep the audience happy with the films
As soon as Katie McGrath opened her mouth I was like “Oh he has to choose Rachel Weisz, there’s no way he didn’t choose her.” I felt very good about myself when she actually showed up 😂😂 Super well cast, and really well thought out! I don’t often like prequels but you have convinced me your take would be very interesting and stand on its own. Love your content, thanks for sharing!
Me too!!
🅐🅗🅐🅗🅐🅗🅐🅗🅐🅗🅐 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐄𝐑 good
I quite like Helga and Godric’s casting!! And Slytherin’s older version is just perfect!
The Eagle on the ravenclaw crest comes from her Scottish ancestry, with the Eagle seen as a symbolic animal for Scotland.
Could also be the name sake as a Ravenclawed eagle with black talons
@@TheNinthGenerarion I think you're correct. That's what I think it was meant to be. The name is descriptive, not literal...and eagles have black talons!
While Gryffindor and Slytherin are accurate on having a lion and snake respectively because they symbolise courage and cunningness respectively as well as Slytherin being slang for how a snake moves, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw could have had different creatures on their crests. For example a bee could had been the symbol for Hufflepuff because just how Hufflepuffs are known for hard work, bees also work hard as a team and like Hufflepuff their colours are yellow and black.
As for Ravenclaw their symbol should had been an owl as owls symbolise wisdom which is a trait in Ravenclaw. And I think JK Rowling should had named the house as Owlclaw instead.
One scene I imagined to be the ending is after years of being apart from his friends Salazar did have a family but more out of counting his bloodline and to open the Chamber of Secrets
He leaves them too and after more years of isolation he starts going mad from his guilt and is in very poor health.
He'd then have an experience that changes his mind about Muggles and he sees the error of his ways.
Love that you went with Katie McGrath for a young Rowena She's such an amazing actress and she's underrated she would be absolutely be perfect for this role especially because Katie is always a book lover it is perfect😁
You know who'll also make a good Helga Hufflepuff?
Lucy Davis, I really loved how she played Hilda Spellman.
I always saw that something happened to make Slytherin dislike muggles, we know he has descendants, so maybe his wife was somehow killed by a muggle. Great castings, totally agree with all of them especially Sean Bean.
I would go for being an orphan whose parents were killed by Muggles. It is a believable (even if a bit overused) backstory of a street kid who is successful in a city's streets as long as nobody realizes that the key of his success is magic. Then he has to get to the next town. It would make a good setup for meeting the others.
Fun fact! Sam Heughan and Katie McGrath were in a Hallmark Christmas movie together, A princess for Christmas. It's the only Hallmark channel movie I can stomach thanks to these two. They play a wonderful pair and I'm 100% on board with them as Rowena and Godric!!
I've seen it too
I've seen it too. It's a good movie
They way you described Slythering really reminded me of Billy Russo in Punisher, played by Ben Barnes. Street kid, rough upbringing, ambitious and motivated to make himself powerful, founds a company and becomes a leader, but lets his darker, misguided ambitions get the better of him. With Frank as Gryffindor, his best friend, his brother, and the eventual falling out.
I agree Ben Barnes would do an amazing job as a young Slytherin just look how he plays rolls like Billy Russo and the Darkling in shadow and bone. But I could also see him take on the roll as young Gryffindor Sam Heughan would be an amazing choice but. When you look at how Ben played some of his younger rolls like Caspian and Tom Ward in seventh son he can also do the brave said as well as the darker side of rolls.
Absolutely amazing! Ravenclaw young girl was SPOT ON. I thought Jason momoa would have even perfect for older Gryffindor
I do think it would be important to have a plus sized actress play Helga. There is such a lack of plus sized representation in media and this is such a great role that we can't take away from those who connect to her.
I feel like Christopher Eccleston would make a FANTASTIC SLYTHERIN. He just has that sinister demeanor with a very sensitive and misunderstood side that could go really well
Can we all just send this to JK Rowling and Warner brother studios, cause like damn this is good stuff and it makes me actually sad that I cant watch this right now
Ryan Corbeil So where’s casting video? I’m confused and disappointed.
I actually thought of an ending. Basically after years of being apart from his friends Salazar did have a family but more out of counting his bloodline and to open the Chamber of Secrets.
Perhaps he leaves them too and after more years of isolation he starts going mad from his guilt and is in very poor health.
Perhaps he could also have an experience that changes his mind about Muggles and he sees the error of his ways.
@@lonebattledroid4474 That is so good, I cant even, that ending would really wrap things up and it would give the audience sympathy for Salazar when leaving the theater, since he tried to undo everything that he did but just couldn't. But that is a really cool ending!
@@ryancorbeil775 thank you! Though I think it would work better as a tv show, but regardless thanks!

I think Maria Doyle Kennedy would make an absolutely perfect older Rowena. She even looks more similar to the younger version then Rachel Weisz, IMO.
Good choice, i like her more. I think Rachel looks a bit too young to be 50-60 in the tenth century. I mean magic youth sure if we want her doing that but compared to the other older actors she looks too young imo
I love Mark Strong, he'd make an awesome Slytherin.
You've knocked it out of the park with this one, both in choices and in graphics. I'm impressed.
I love that you started with Hufflepuff.
I adore this entire premise! You're such a good writer.
I reckon a recasting/casting of The Chronicles of Narnia would be awesome....please😊😁
Why JK Rowling hasn’t made a story on these characters baffles me!
Better that she hasn't, imagine how much she'd f*ck that one up.... 😅
she would make them all gay tho even ravenclaw
@@hpjr4097 that would be so easy too. "Griffindor and Slithering were lovers. So were Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff! Also they were all half-black half-asian".
I think you mean Hatsune miku
*”The Hufflepuff colours are yellow and black because Helga Hufflepuff was a black woman with jaundice”*
I wish Max Von Sydow was still alive he would have been a great actor for a character in the franchise
He's casting is so spot-on, he should be considered a member of a casting crew :)
Halfway through this video I remembered that this isn't an actual movie in development and I got really sad :( Great work, Sean Bean would be perfect
I love these choices, especially Emily Watson & Aneurin Barnard!
Absolutely. Aneurin was a fantastic choice
You can't talk about Aneurin Barnard without mentioning his amazing performance in Barkskins! He brings such a moody performance that would work with a young Salazar.
Oh Indeed.
Yes I called it! As soon as you started describing Rowena Ravenclaw and how her younger self should be, I thought of Katie McGrath! Her work in Merlin is absolutely amazing not to mention the various other works she has done. She is such a talented lady. I think she would be perfect as a young Rowena Ravenclaw!
I would be SO excited it they did make a founders series that told the story of how they came together, started Hogwarts and eventually fell apart, especially if it made it to where none of them wanted the rift between them but knew it couldn’t be helped.
I love the way you characterised Helga Hufflepuff! It's absolutely perfect.
I think Maria Doyle-Kennedy would be the perfect actress for Rowenna Ravenclaw. Not only could she pass as an older version of Katie McGrath but she is so poised and almost stern looking but at the same time she can be very soft. Not to mention she is extremely beautiful If you watch her in the Tudors you’ll see how well rounded of an actress she is. I’d love to see her in more shows and movies, so underrated. Great casting btw. Mark strong is a brilliant choice and my jaw dropped when you said Emily Watson. Absolutely perfect
If he were a few decades younger, I would say Brian Blessed would be a great Godric Gryffindor.
This actually a really cool/interesting concept and now I kinda wanna see something like this
Tbh you have never disappointed me with the actor's you've chosen every one is on point and fits perfectly
You should do one for the marauders and for the ilvermorny founders
As soon as you casted Sean Bean I was sold on the rest
This would make a fun Netflix series. Like 5 hour episodes or 10 half hour episodes.
I want an old-school, 22 ep X 44 min.
And just have it be a network tv series.
@@wariolandgoldpiramid I would rather it be on Netflix. The writers and director would have more control of the content. Network tv studios are always poking their nose into things.
@@joecoz26 I agree network tv would just ruin it with too many ads and inconsistent story writing either Netflix or Amazon would be cool
"The best actor for older godrik griffrendor is-"
Me: Mark addy Robert boratheon
"-Sean Bean"
Me: yes him too
Mark Addy fit the Fat Friar better.
@@PHSDM104 was that him or are you recasting?
@@troperhghar9898 It's my recasting, but I got the idea after seeing a picture online that looked like him in the role.
Great choices. Mark Strong for the older Salazar Slythetin would be really excellent
Also Anurin Binard has also played a person that has been vilified by history and made him likable in the White Queen as Richard III, so he could probably do that again.
Oh absolutely
I’m surprised a crowd-funded prequel film hasn’t been made yet.
Marc Strong as Salazar Slytherin is 100% accurate and on point
You should make a video on The Three Marauders prequel's potential cast. I think a TV show would be a proper format for the story.
I think that an excellent choice for an older hufflepuff would be kate Mulgrew she isn’t from the UK but I really think she has the look and the stern yet motherly demeanor the best example of her displaying this was in my opinion Star Trek voyager as captain Janeway
Ned Stark as Godrick Gryffindor might be the only thing I like about Gryffindor house.
I feel like I should feel offended as a gryffindor but I'm pretty tried of my house at some points.
@@SlimeyPirate you should be
@@leo-db5uj we see them so much and that means we see alot of them doing things that I don't approve of at all
Meh I always imagined robert Baratheon to be more gryffindor-ish than Eddard
@@adityaarvind2774 actually yeah. Robert Baratheon was very arrogant and egoistic. But somehow potrayed himself as a good person. A perfect gryffindor. Besides that no hate to Ron George and Fred.
1:16 ; ok, what if Salazar had a (secret?) relationship with Helga ?? That would be a surprise... He said it; Helga would be the one truly hurt by Salazar leaving...
I loved the actress who played Carla Jean Moss in No Country For Old Men as Ravenclaw. Such a legend
Kelly Macdonald 8]
paul graham I know who she is, but she is a wonderful actress. Underrated
I like the idea of Slytherin's trigger being some kind of extreme tragedy. Almost like he started as this just clever and loveable man, and he maybe fell for a muggle woman and once she found out that he was a wizard she turned on him and told all of his friends and they alienated him causing his disdain for muggles. And his descent as an older man is more a descent into madness and scorn as the other founders start to try and get him to be more open-minded. Almost like he views it as a repeat of events and his departure from Hogwarts is more him trying to protect himself from being hurt again.
I think Rachel Weisz is about 10 years to young for the age span you suggested for the older character. I’m really excited who you’ll cast as Mr. Fantastic and the Invisible Woman, since you like to give your own thoughts instead of going with popular fan castings. Tho I think John Krasinski and Emily Blunt really are the best for the job.
I was thinking more along the lines of Michelle Fairley personally
Matt Withey you mean for the older Ravenclaw?
I think Rachel weisz would be good for the role, but I think Eva green would fit even better compared to the younger version.
@@christianemden7637 I haven´t said Weisz would be bad in the role, she probably would be great. I only said she´s too young or too young looking for the age range he said.
@@mwithey97 yes she would be perfect! Unfortunately she is already in the Harry Potter movies (Hermione's mom) so she is not eligible according to the rules Bryan set up :( I like Rachel too but it's an insult to cast her as a 60 year old xD
Just flash of Tom Hiddleston as Lupin made me smile again😍
It's kinda annoying that all the good fantasy stories happen a long time after some true badassery happened. Harry Potter happened after the founding of the school, as well as the first wizarding war. Lord of the Rings happened after cool events like the first and second fall of Sauron. Game of Thrones happened after the conflict between the First Men and the Children of the Forest, as well as the conquering of Westeros by the Targaryans. Star Wars happened after The Old Republic. Eragon happened after the fall of the Dragon Riders and rise of Galbatorix.
I want to see peak power badasses, not just hear about them after the fact...
That’s what makes it so great I think; the backstory, the worldbuilding, the legends, myths and history that make the world what it is. That’s one of the reasons why the Star Wars Prequels get criticized, they essentially tell that legendary Clone Wars and past alluded to by Ben Kenobi & Vader, but in doing that it’s just telling the story of the backstory. You could potentially argue that it kinda cheapens it (but of course there’s always a way of doing it right). The closest we got to more legends and history is with the Darth Plagueis story, in one of the best scenes of the Prequels-the opera house scene. To be fair you can tell an awesome fantasy story without “the cool legends” but having that sense of history adds realism, relatability, and mystery to the world. This is one of the reasons why I love fantasy.
Peak power badasses for Harry Potter would actually be Dumbledore and Voldemort. I fear Hogwarts founding will be just as boring as Grindelwald for general audiences.
@@somersault1123 That would depend on how they made the movie. It could either be a slow, more adventure-like movie, or an action-packed one. Seeing Gryffindor and Slytherin be best buddies and badasses together could be super cool, as well as seeing them fight each other at the end of their friendship.
Consider that the passage of time only makes it SEEM like these figures were badasses. Mythologizing also makes past events seem more clear cut black and white when everybody and everything was more of a mess in the ongoing moment.
I feel like Lara Pulver could also be a great Ravenclaw!
Katie McGrath is an amazing actress (though all her characters annoy me), I think she’s so great. Also Mark Strong and Sean Bean are both great in their respective fan casts. I like this idea.
I feel like I HAVE to watch this as a series now!!
This is really well thought out, however my one complaint is that some of your picks for the “older” founders almost seemed not old enough. Of course makeup and lighting can make a world of difference but you did mention that you wanted them to be 60 ish and most of those actors look as if they are still solidly in their late 40’s early 50’s. I like Katie McGrath but I almost feel like she is too pretty for the role. I think Michelle Dockery (Lady Mary from Downton Abbey) would be an excellent choice for Rowena. She can be caring and kind, but can also be downright terrifying, not to mention that she is exceedingly witty. Very nice video!!
Somebody hire this man for Hollywood!
“Isn’t totally evil” only hatched a basilisk to kill all the muggle burns that go to the school
With how good aging and de-aging technology has gotten I bet Hollywood would just pick one actor for both roles
That's stupid.
@@wariolandgoldpiramid Thanks for your fascinating input
They definitely could
Absolutely spot on with all your picks! Love the way this channel has been going too, you've carved out a unique role on RUclips and I'm excited to see where you take it in the future!
What a wonderful idea!
Love, love, love Rachel Weisz and Sean Bean as Ravenclaw and Gryffindor; nice choices!
If this becomes a reality, Sean Bean will have been in the three biggest fantasy franchises of our generation.
Ah yes - I remember Katie McGrath from way back in the day when she portrayed Morgana Le Faye in Merlin.
If Slytherin were female, I think she'd nail that part too!
I would pay so much money to see this movie
Me too.
When you were going over the qualities needed for old Godric I was thinking “He sounds like he’s casting Ned Stark.” And sure enough you did (not complaining and completely agree.)
Given that Hogwarts was established in the 10th century CE - and Slytherin dislikes "muggles" - and that the characters all seem based in England, it is possible that Slytherin was a slave who was treated badly and general shuns people and preferred to work slyly behind the scenes to make things happen. Interestingly, the language of England at that time was completely different than modern English. In the 10th century it was a mix of early German and a heavy amount of Norse/Scandinavian - as this would all occur up to 100 years (or more) before the Norman Conquest in 1066. I can see the two women carrying on pre-Christian Druidic traditions and Godric perhaps being more of Norse/Viking ancestry, hence the full beard and red hair. I could also be completely wrong.
slavery was never really a thing in england during that time period
@@FlyingwithFire slavery in England was abolished in 19th century,so it was very much a thing.
Sean Bean as Godrick Gryffindor...I love you!
WOW! Another great casting! When you got to young Slytherin my jaw dropped. I first saw Aneurin Barnard in *"The Adventurer: The Curse of the Midas Box"* and thought he was fascinating. Thank you for bringing him to our attention. (and for saying his name right!)
Yes, he deserves it honestly. He’s amazing.
Slithen and Gryffindor having an internal struggle of teaching muggle-borns due from seeing witch hunts firsthand and the choice of how to react to it
Love the Magneto Salazar parallel. Could even be Dooku and Saruman
You always do a fantastic job at recastings! I very much enjoy it when you look at not-so well known actors and actresses.
Am I the only one who loves Fantastic beasts, Merlin BBC, and Harry Potter?
No, Merlin, Harry potter and Nolans Batman Trilogy were by far my favourite films/tv series as a kid. When i rewatch them i cant help but get goosebumps.
I love all three, but it made me super sad to see how Merlin ended. There was so much left to explore with Merlin and Arthur. The ending didn't feel earned and it was just so abrupt.
@@mckayhatch6723 agreed. I was so sad and angry, and I lowkey can't forgive Morgana or Modred for what happened to Gwaine and the others
@@mckayhatch6723 Yes 100%, we deserved to see arthur interact with merlin knowing he was a wizard. And watch them protect camelot together.
Max Landsborough exactly. I think the natural arc would be for Arthur to grow and see how not all magic is bad. But that didn’t happen.
Well am I only one who immediately went "Well Griffgindor is going to die soon". Not because of anything bad but just the "curse of Sean Bean" but I would like to be positively surprised in this case.
That's most people's first thought. LOL
Your selections are brilliant!
Amazing choices - love it!
Awesome mate! Well done. I would be so hyped with this cast. It’s perfect
**Post before watching** There's one clear casting I think we can all agree on, as I've seen it many times on Google fan art images;
Rowena Ravenclaw NEEEEEEEEEEEEDS to be played by Katie McGrath :D As a Ravenclaw and a HUGE fan of the Jurassic Park Franchise, I need to see Katie McGrath as Rowena Ravenclaw. Every like this comment gets is one middle finger to the mosasaurus XD
Edit: 12:06 YES!!!! YEAH!!!! THANK YOU!!!! YES!!!! :D
If this movie ever came to be I think they should explore Ravenclaw and Slytherin love interests as we know they had children. We never really know who Helena Ravenclaws father is or who salazars children were and their mother, so if they explored this it would be amazing and add the human behind the legend
Amazing! Just discovered your channel trough this video and I’m starting a marathon right now!
Aneurin would be such a good Slytherin especially cuz he's played another complex dark figure before in the White Queen as Richard III. I adored his performance in that so i think he'd knock this out of the park
Hell yea!!
really loved it... all of them look perfect!
as always, very impressed by the choices you made.
I literally nearly jumped out my seat as soon as you said Rachel Weisz because even before you came to a casting choice for young Rowena, I already could see Rachel Weisz in the older role. It makes me sad that I don’t see her appreciated enough
I love the idea of this, I can easily see this working out somewhat like The Social Network where we start off with the past and then we find out about the present time with the older versions and then have both reach their conclusions at the same time
Now I'm just imagining a scene between the two Slytherins, through a mirror or something like that, where the older version is trying to justify the reason he put the Basilisk in the Chamber of Secrets and the younger yelling at him for breaking the trust of the other founders.
Recast Percy Jackson.
The Jazz King That may be difficult as there are so many child actors. Maybe an episode on the Olympians. One on other adult characters such as Sally, Chiron, Gabe and if they do the sequels Paul and another episode for minor gods and goddesses
What do you mean "recast"? There hasn't been any live action movies/series of Percy Jackson.

Disney are doing thier own series.
Yet again blowing it out of the park!!! 😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️
Those are all pretty darn good options. I approve. Especially of Sean Bean as Godric Gryffindor.
I love the casting choices here. If I were to change one thing, I would double down on actors from Game of Thrones and cast Richard Madden as the young Godric Gryffindor. I just love that guy so much. Seeing him lead armies as Robb Stark in GoT really sells me on how he would Godric. Not to mention, he and Sean Bean just look so much alike that I wouldn't question them being the same person with 30 years between them.
Great job, Bryan!
