3画面モニターを採用した忍者アクションゲーム。ゲーム内容に大きなひねりこそないが、画面サイズを生かした巨大な戦車が登場したり、BGMに三味線を採用するなどなかなかの力作。エンディングは涙なくして語れない。
ストーリー:
1993年――かつて栄華を誇ったこの大国は危機に直面していた。魔王"バングラー"の邪悪な魔力による独裁政治によって、人々は意識を洗脳され、社会が荒廃してきた。革命派のリーダーである"マルク"は、バングラーを暗殺すべく2体の殺人マシーン、"NINJA"と"KUNOICHI"を完成させた・・・・・・。

The strange resolution of this game was due to the original cabinet which had a wide screen made out of three monitors.
Banglar, the main enemy who looks like Yoda from the star wars films makes a cameo appearance in "Aqua Jack" 2 years after appearing in The Ninja Warriors.

That casual walk. I don't think I've ever seen a ninja in any game ever look so relaxed.
even the animation of soldier is better than the ninja
It's because each part of the body is a separate sprite. As she takes damage her outer shell disappears, showing her robotic body. That's what makes the animation a little stiff.

Do you remember how IMPRESSIVE it was to see this widescreen game in the arcades?
I remember these were the huge arcade cabinets with the widescreens... I hope free play arcade gets a hold of one in the future!
忍者龍剣伝、ニンウォリ、ストライダー飛龍、シャドーダンサーは私が「ヒーロー」になれたゲームでした。当時、同世代の子はゲーセンには全くいませんでした。同世代のゲーセンデビューは速くてもファイナルファイトぐらいで大半の子はストⅡからでした。ストⅡのプレイ待ちの間にやってるとギャラリーができたりして。クリアすると全然知らない子に「ヤリ方教えてくれ」と頼まれたり。ストⅡでヒーローになった子はたくさんいたけどストⅡの陰の忍者ゲームで私はヒーローになりました。まさに忍者ゲームだけにひっそりと・・・。

This was a great game. The SNES version was even better and the remake that's about to come out looks awesome!

Except you are right about the music in this game.
Shinobi has better gameplay and music although Daddy Mulk is a most excellent track.
Always loved these 3 screen wide Taito games (Darius being my favorite). It's too bad they didn't continue with this idea, although they did do some two screen games as well.
Another example of a ninja based hero who uses zero stealth! These robots are basically humanoid bulldozers. (or should we say "road rollers"?)

他のBGMも素晴らしい。捨て曲なし!

I Understand, that the Ending, of "The Ninja Warriors" Games, Dark the way they are, are to Shown, that, to Any Country Around, Violent Revolutions, Won't Bring Peace, Neither Change things to a better Outcome, But HEY, Wait A Second, Seriously, Hold On--Did the White House, REALLY Exploded, At the End of this Game?! MAYBE This Game Ending's, Isn't Dark, Or Half bad at all, As they say! :D
