Seeing an old man sadly stand by his wife's tombstone shouldn't elicit this much laughter, but "Sir Billi" found a way. I'm cracking up just thinking about it.
I mean... Sean Connery was THE major ambassador of the Scottish independence movement, so I imagine that this was enough for the nationalist government back in Edinburgh to plow some money into the belly of the beast to satisfy the demands of Sean boy.

It would have made at least a little more sense that way, but I guess they decided after the fact to do the Bond-style opening instead and didn't want to just get rid of the footage they worked on.

Loved this review when I saw it last night when u reviewed it on twitch and ye made me laugh so much that I decided to watch the review again on RUclips. I found the plot synopsis for this movie and even the description is WTF. ''A retired veterinarian living in a remote Scottish village encounters a goat who thinks he's a dog, an Admiral who's afraid of the water and a beaver who was raised by rabbits''. I'm about to watch the movie for myself now to have a good laugh.
Ok this confirms it, everytime someone makes a horrible animated movie there is always one characters that has to look extra hot and waste the movie's budget.

I recently caught Dragonheart on television in Belgium recently, as it was shown as an alternative program choice to the Euro2020 tournament. It is… enjoyable, mostly thanks to the eclectic casting, but hot damn did the CGI age disgracefully.
I'll bet that memory montage sums of the conflicting tones of this movie because they said "Put a sentimental montage at the end, no, put in movie references, MAKE IT FUNNY! NO MAKE IT HEART FILLED!" That's how it cones off to me.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is Connery's last live-action, high-budget blockbuster film. Sir Billi is Connery's last theatrical release. And then there was the documentary film where Connery was the narrator, Ever To Excel (which came out some time after Sir Billi). So, it's really up to debate about what is considered to be his last film. Looking back at the man's career, it is interesting that he has turned down certain films like Jurassic Park, The Matrix, and Lord of the Rings, but I think it was better if he wasn't in those films. I can't imagine anyone else in the roles that he was offered, they were cast pretty well. That being said, the man has chosen other films that are rather curious to be in, which is ironically probably why they are known about to begin with.
