As is, she's basically tailor made to loop with Koyanskaya and Oberon. The only way Summer Castoria would work better than Koyan would be if she could give 50% charge, reduce CD and give a huge attack buff instead of a Buster buff. And maybe if she consumed more HP from Morgan

I just realised, that if we are following LB6 content, EVERY attack that Summer Morgan uses is based on Rhoyngmiad. Which makes sense, if you completed LB6

Not the same version, but I did a random multi on na to celebrate Summer Morgan's release and somehow got Morgan on it. I didn't pull much on her first banner because Vitch and Oberon were coming. Seems like she didn't want to be alone xD

interesting gimmick i can think off in using caster morgan is chuck her using chen gong and give her guts which she has on skill or a ce while her 2nd skill is active to get the full attack buff ramp. Also, she has great synergy with tamamo since she has heals, skill cooldowns and np gains and another one is asclepius
Even though I'm a bit disappointed that we got a Morgan variant as the Anni servant (this is coming from someone with NP3 Berserker Morgan), I do appreciate how unhinged her kit is. I rolled for her and got her at NP1, so I'll be using her for a while to see what I can do with her in my account

when I first looked at her kit on atlas there was a little mistake on np and it was "and reduce CD's by 3 + OC" and it was bonkers. Later checked again and it was fixed. she would be so broken =(

Doesnt seems like she is going to be used a lot for farming. The AOE battery looks impractical for a 3 turn set up and the second skill wont be that beneficial since you wont be taking much damage. She seems like a challenge quest/stall team servant, just like the Jeanne spook I got instead of her. Never the less, once she comes to NA, I will probably be grailing her
She seems good and so far she's right behind Tia and Mel damage-wise (not sure how she compares to Cu). For dual core farming it seems like with a gigimax S. Ibuki she can hit about 4-500k on turn 3, not gonna cut it for some of the beefier 90++ nodes but there might be ways to make it work (and better secondaries to work with). If you really like Morgan and don't have a dedicated Buster farmer she seems like a good choice (and she might have some special synergy with one of the summer units). I'm not in either of those camps though so it's an easy skip for me.
@@SlothofBangkok Apex gives 50% charge and 2 levels, 1 time of overcharge. You can lead with her first skill and Miss Crane, Arash or any other NP first, follow it up with her own NP, have the 3rd skill ready on turn 2.

For people who wonder if she is MOST to have or NOT The answer is depending of one of the two preferences: 1\ if you are going to hard challenge quest like 90++ nodes, main story challenge or Boss’s and have a good support servant then YES ⭕️ 2\ if you don’t like slow team In challenge or don’t have good setup of support then NO ❌

I just made a jp account a few days ago and thankfully she came to me as my first SSR, as i havent chosen my free SSR yet. Now I'm trying to decide if i should fully ascend her with the free one time option or not.
Imagine rolling for an AOE Buster Caster that exactly does the same job as Cu Caster in farming, that is a 3* and is obtainable with higher NP levels on some rateup banners, with minimal invesment + cost efficient in bond farming. To be honest, I don't hate Tonelico, but she felt like Proto Merlin in a sense that she is actually a pseudo-summer servant and could have been a rateup in the upcoming summer event instead. L for Lasengle in this one.
Ok when I saw the ad I legit thought these were two different servants. I thought one was Tonelico for the anniversary and Summer Morgan was for the summer event.
I'm going to be honest, I don't think Aesc is that good The cd are horribles, which would have been fine if the np effect worked with everyone of her skills 50% battery aoe is crazy, but does not validate the horrible cd As a caster, her damage will be lower than normal The invul she gets on np also sucks, because 1 hit invul is really weird As a dps she will be fine, since oberon and koyan exist, but she, and the anni as a whole, is disappointing That said, if you like her, don't feel attacked by this comment of mine, it is simply my opinion
I think she's more of a dual core unit than a main DPS one. It should pretty easy to whip out a 6CE team including her, though not sure about doing it without plugsuit.
Wait till Summer Castoria drops with a 3-turn cdr, forcing you to get both... Edit: that or a 2-turn like Koyan but also giving np overcharge with either her np or another skill
The only way I can think she could work amazingly and bring a new age to farming is if you can get her third skill ready turn 1 without double Koyanskaya and Atlas mystic code. I can think of having two farmers in one team instead of one as a new possibility with this Morgan. Then and only then would she actually be amazing. However realistically, that wouldn't be possible unless Lasagna does some really wacky shit.
It almost feels like the changes were done last minute to fight leaks. Leaks were talking about Summer Morgan caster and AE(or foreigner? Dont remember) Melusine already over a month ago.

Here's how this Caster Morgan can be Oberon level OP: If you can get her third skill ready somehow turn 1, you migjt be able to run a team comp with two farmers instead of one where it essentially remedies the fact that you can't 3 turn loop with one of them. With a teamwide 50% battery skmething like this might be possible, realistically with what we have now you must use a double Koyan Atlas mystic code setup to get her ready turn 1 and that obviously bring many issues to her working as a support. Imo I feel like the real use, as others have said, is against bosses and CQs. With a 50%/60% CE + overcharge she can work as a good farmer herself. In all honesty, this Morgan isn't gonna end up redefining anything like the last two anniversaries on NA, but while Arc is good but not the best, this Morgan feels even less good.
I have an idea, 50% starting and her skill 1 and double koyan bust up, -1cooldown-4koyan=NP number 2, 3rd turn use the 3rd skill plug suit to Oberon 3rd NP
So if to boost the second skill you need to be lower health %, not giving her hp fous would make easier to achieve the % targets, if someone can do the math to see if it actually helps
It seems like in practice, castoria/merlin/himiko or morgan is much more stable compared to tonelico teamcomps. sure she can fire up AOE 50% battery with guts, but the main concern for high-cost stalling team was the lack of anti-buff clear. She's seems like hybrid DPS/support that seems worse/expensive choice on 3t comps (cu caster) and stalling. For her 1st skill, 7t CD is kinda excessive.. crit star is appreciated, but self-buff 20% np dmg is just.. meh. she's already gimped from her caster multiplier and low np dmg (if the enemy isn't evil), it's just much more appreciated if the buff was AOE. 50% battery is a okay. 2nd skill at least i appreciate that they're trying something new, they want high risk-high reward gimmick, kinda hard to do against berserker boss/CQ but it's cool they try something. the only drawback was it only lasted for 3t and only 10 star/turn (if all units has 100% HP) is just way too conditional, probably need more test to see how the condition activated. At least it has 5t CD i guess. cu caster seems like a good choice for a team and he can benefit with low health, and battery. 3rd skill is the regigigas of FGO. Too much drawback when there's already servants that has 100% battery with np buff. The guts only active for 3t is extremely questionable, you basically can only activate her guts ONCE every fight (quicker if you have vitch). really contradict how her 2nd skill wants the party in low health, this is only my 1st assumptions and definitely need more tests with different teamcomps. The NP is the usual caster dilemma, AOE with low multiplier and has extra dm against evil, and almost all big boss enemies so far have evil trait, so it's a good boost. The invinc only lasted for 1 turn attack, and the buster buff only lasted 1t, kinda wished it worked like cu caster. The most unique one was the OC effect, lasengle seems interested in making servants with special OC effects lately and i won't be surprised if the next summer servants are dedicated OC support to complete tonelico. TL;DR: lasengle tried to make unique servants kits than the usual minturn comp.. just like Constantine, it looks good on paper but not so much in practice
She looks OP on the surface, but just using her makes me mad, everything about her kit is frustrating. S1 being 7 turns, s2 being another bad conditional, S3 having a starting 5 turn CD makes it hard to formulate multicore with her. Her damage is worse than Cu Caster. Her S3 makes me unreasonably angry, that fact she can't just pop it turn 1 makes me really really mad.
She's barely released but she already needs a buff. What was Lasengle doing by releasing her as an anni Servant when she's clearly summer? Last summer there were 3 SSRs, just place her there, and this comes from a Morgan fan.
Melusine summer will probably blow Morgan out of the water, and Melu summer will probably be a berserker as well, probably going to power creep Ibuki Summer for good measure.
Idk how i feel about Morgan being an ani servant almost immediately after she drops on NA for the first time. Makes me feel like we're going to be stuck in LB6 for 2 now years
Uh, after testing I changed my mind, Summer Morgan is mid af, well not exactly, she's still good, better than many, but for an 8th Anni servant she's kinda mediocre. Her farming damage is kinda meh, for single core she's barely better than Arcueid, who is potato, and also needs double Oberon, but she has class advantage atleast. Her niche is way worse and doesn't scale with investment nearly as high as Arc. The S3 in theory is crazy, but they over nerfed it with the 5T cd, so now it's very awkward and restrictive to use in multicore, and dependent on Koyan's cd reduction for her to work, it could still work though but not easy, and in this aspect Arc's aoe battery is much better and more flexible despite having lower number. I think she's sort of similar, but might even be worse than Arc, certainly more janky, and gameplay wise just seems like another regression every year after Castoria. But who knows, Summer Castoria might fix her, but right now she's hardly exciting.

I wouldn't need Clairvoyance EX to skip a copy pasted servant that is some weird abomination of what should be two different servants with an abomination of a kit. I loved her character in LB6 but this is straight up garbage, it should have been a different Servant for anniversary, Summer Morgan should be in the Summer Banner and Tonelico should have been a different servant that appears later on in another event. This is just an abomination born out of greed and laziness, just like the rest of the anniversary and the fantastic QoL improvement we got along with all those servant animation updates. This has even dropped all my hype for summer Castoria and 2 days ago she was a must pull.
I have a question regarding the 3rd skill. Suppose Caster Morgan is in the backline and on turn 6 I plugsuit her in the frontline. Then, is her 3rd skill going to be in cooldown or not?

I'm going to be honest, I don't think Aesc is that good
The cd are horribles, which would have been fine if the np effect worked with everyone of her skills
50% battery aoe is crazy, but does not validate the horrible cd
As a caster, her damage will be lower than normal
The invul she gets on np also sucks, because 1 hit invul is really weird
As a dps she will be fine, since oberon and koyan exist, but she, and the anni as a whole, is disappointing
That said, if you like her, don't feel attacked by this comment of mine, it is simply my opinion

I think she's more of a dual core unit than a main DPS one. It should pretty easy to whip out a 6CE team including her, though not sure about doing it without plugsuit.
Wait till Summer Castoria drops with a 3-turn cdr, forcing you to get both...
Edit: that or a 2-turn like Koyan but also giving np overcharge with either her np or another skill
The only way I can think she could work amazingly and bring a new age to farming is if you can get her third skill ready turn 1 without double Koyanskaya and Atlas mystic code. I can think of having two farmers in one team instead of one as a new possibility with this Morgan.
Then and only then would she actually be amazing.
However realistically, that wouldn't be possible unless Lasagna does some really wacky shit.

It almost feels like the changes were done last minute to fight leaks. Leaks were talking about Summer Morgan caster and AE(or foreigner? Dont remember) Melusine already over a month ago.

I have to question though how Morgan ended up as the anni servant when she`s not even a different version from the one we have already.

@@sezzomon6625 Well she can reload with koyan and a 50% ce easier since her first skill is up by wave 3. Also her CQ power might be high since her second skill can give insane buffs at lower hp. But yeah feels weird, if they are madlads they give us a 4 star swumsuit welfare morgan anyways putting her in a even weirder spot.

Here's how this Caster Morgan can be Oberon level OP:
If you can get her third skill ready somehow turn 1, you migjt be able to run a team comp with two farmers instead of one where it essentially remedies the fact that you can't 3 turn loop with one of them.
With a teamwide 50% battery skmething like this might be possible, realistically with what we have now you must use a double Koyan Atlas mystic code setup to get her ready turn 1 and that obviously bring many issues to her working as a support.
Imo I feel like the real use, as others have said, is against bosses and CQs. With a 50%/60% CE + overcharge she can work as a good farmer herself.
In all honesty, this Morgan isn't gonna end up redefining anything like the last two anniversaries on NA, but while Arc is good but not the best, this Morgan feels even less good.
So her skill 2 makes Brack Grail a necessity. Gotcha! Reminds me of other skills like that.

It seems like in practice, castoria/merlin/himiko or morgan is much more stable compared to tonelico teamcomps. sure she can fire up AOE 50% battery with guts, but the main concern for high-cost stalling team was the lack of anti-buff clear. She's seems like hybrid DPS/support that seems worse/expensive choice on 3t comps (cu caster) and stalling.
For her 1st skill, 7t CD is kinda excessive.. crit star is appreciated, but self-buff 20% np dmg is just.. meh. she's already gimped from her caster multiplier and low np dmg (if the enemy isn't evil), it's just much more appreciated if the buff was AOE. 50% battery is a okay.
2nd skill at least i appreciate that they're trying something new, they want high risk-high reward gimmick, kinda hard to do against berserker boss/CQ but it's cool they try something. the only drawback was it only lasted for 3t and only 10 star/turn (if all units has 100% HP) is just way too conditional, probably need more test to see how the condition activated. At least it has 5t CD i guess. cu caster seems like a good choice for a team and he can benefit with low health, and battery.
3rd skill is the regigigas of FGO. Too much drawback when there's already servants that has 100% battery with np buff. The guts only active for 3t is extremely questionable, you basically can only activate her guts ONCE every fight (quicker if you have vitch). really contradict how her 2nd skill wants the party in low health, this is only my 1st assumptions and definitely need more tests with different teamcomps.
The NP is the usual caster dilemma, AOE with low multiplier and has extra dm against evil, and almost all big boss enemies so far have evil trait, so it's a good boost. The invinc only lasted for 1 turn attack, and the buster buff only lasted 1t, kinda wished it worked like cu caster. The most unique one was the OC effect, lasengle seems interested in making servants with special OC effects lately and i won't be surprised if the next summer servants are dedicated OC support to complete tonelico.
TL;DR: lasengle tried to make unique servants kits than the usual minturn comp.. just like Constantine, it looks good on paper but not so much in practice

She looks OP on the surface, but just using her makes me mad, everything about her kit is frustrating. S1 being 7 turns, s2 being another bad conditional, S3 having a starting 5 turn CD makes it hard to formulate multicore with her. Her damage is worse than Cu Caster.
Her S3 makes me unreasonably angry, that fact she can't just pop it turn 1 makes me really really mad.
She's barely released but she already needs a buff. What was Lasengle doing by releasing her as an anni Servant when she's clearly summer? Last summer there were 3 SSRs, just place her there, and this comes from a Morgan fan.
Melusine summer will probably blow Morgan out of the water, and Melu summer will probably be a berserker as well, probably going to power creep Ibuki Summer for good measure.

Uh, after testing I changed my mind, Summer Morgan is mid af, well not exactly, she's still good, better than many, but for an 8th Anni servant she's kinda mediocre.
Her farming damage is kinda meh, for single core she's barely better than Arcueid, who is potato, and also needs double Oberon, but she has class advantage atleast. Her niche is way worse and doesn't scale with investment nearly as high as Arc. The S3 in theory is crazy, but they over nerfed it with the 5T cd, so now it's very awkward and restrictive to use in multicore, and dependent on Koyan's cd reduction for her to work, it could still work though but not easy, and in this aspect Arc's aoe battery is much better and more flexible despite having lower number.
I think she's sort of similar, but might even be worse than Arc, certainly more janky, and gameplay wise just seems like another regression every year after Castoria. But who knows, Summer Castoria might fix her, but right now she's hardly exciting.

I wouldn't need Clairvoyance EX to skip a copy pasted servant that is some weird abomination of what should be two different servants with an abomination of a kit.
I loved her character in LB6 but this is straight up garbage, it should have been a different Servant for anniversary, Summer Morgan should be in the Summer Banner and Tonelico should have been a different servant that appears later on in another event. This is just an abomination born out of greed and laziness, just like the rest of the anniversary and the fantastic QoL improvement we got along with all those servant animation updates.
This has even dropped all my hype for summer Castoria and 2 days ago she was a must pull.
I have a question regarding the 3rd skill. Suppose Caster Morgan is in the backline and on turn 6 I plugsuit her in the frontline. Then, is her 3rd skill going to be in cooldown or not?
probably no. turn CDs only count when you are on field. servants in backline are not affected unless specified otherwise
