David Trofimov Not *entirely* indestructible. The front underside of the barrel does scuff from the silencer, but that was only the first time time and it's on a place that you'd never notice. Certainly not as bad as the official.

Ben, the solution to the battle-damaged chest insignia is Ocean's waterslide decals. Buy those and put them on with mark setter and mark softer, and it'll contour to the shape.
Wanted a Megatron. Now I've found the perfect Megatron for my collection.
Ok this guy is pretty awesome. I think i will have to get this one over MP-36. I just cant justify that price tag he caries. Where this guy looks great. I like the paint choice even more and that price point is even better. I was not even aware of this version. Thanks for reviewing this option. Great work as always and great video. Same here, even at 2nd hand market prices MP-36 is still incomparable to this.
On his damaged chest plate I used a waterslide decal using a hobby knife cut it into the revelent parts works a treat

Glad there are affordable options for those looking. I'll stick with my 3p version as I'm still not a fan of this aesthetic. I'm amazed how quickly this figure was KOd and enhanced. Hope they are as aggressive and precise with Sunstreaker.
Thanks Ben, I was waiting for this. Glad I waited for this one. The ab crunch has a lock but should still be there as I've seen a photo of it. I wonder how it unlocks?
There should also be 4 Welker sound clips, found when put the switch all the way back.

Ben, Love your reviews. Question: in the official video that IT put out, there was another notch in the chinese cannon that switches it to welker's voice and english. Can you try to look for it? It seems to be a notch above the chinese version.

Hey Ben so for the damage chest plate try applying heat on the Insignia while it’s on the chest by using a blow dryer and apply some pressure so that the insignia can get into the folds on the chest and it would still have that battle damage look.

Bit late to this but I got my IT 01 Meg today brand-new in box only got one cannon it was the english one 80quid on ebay amazing value for the money it looks and feels far superior to the mp36 thanks for the reveiw.
All I need are the right kind of Decepticon stickers/labels and it will

Ben this version has the G1 Frank Welker voice clips, there is a test video that shows the Chinese voice and then the Frank Welker voice in the third option. Can you confirm this?

to put the sticker on you will need to just cut it into pieces and put one section on at a time. Each piece will need to be the size of the section it is being applied to.

Nice Review Ben... Though I can't help but notice you said the Infinite Transformation IT-01Emperor of Destruction "Doesn't have a stomach crunch articulation?!?" I put it to you that it indeed does have stomach crunch articulation. My IT-01 has a great stomach crunch, it just has a nice stiff tab to lock his sternum in straight. Once you click tab the first time (which I admit is tight) it has a nice & solid ab crunch. Which I reckon makes it even better. I thought you should know... Keep up the good work.

Infinite Transformation it-01 is the best alternative version of Masterpiece Megatron for those not wanting to pay for the official Takara version. The main gray color is lighter and more appealing, it is mostly unpainted so serious chipping is a non-issue. Certain flaws may be present, such as some loose parts, perhaps some paint flaws on certain sections, and some accessories are crappy quality (the chain, for instance, came glued onto the handle that attaches to the wrist, so it's impossible to swap the handle onto the posable chain). Overall, I'm very happy with my figure and I'm glad that I opted to go with this version for my MP 36 Megatron.
Dang, I wish I had done more research before buying the 1-to-1 knockoff of MP-36 Megatron. I had no idea this version even existed!
I just saw this toy alongside the THF Dynatron clear crystal version in a mall in Manila, Philippines. That place had so many stores that sell KOs, vintage and modern TF. I even saw some vintage Star Wars and G. I. Joe figures and vehicles as well as classic japanese mecha.

Best way to do the chest sticker is to buy some decal paper. You can get clear background or white background sheets. If using the later then you will have a white outline to your design when you cut them out. Practice printing on normal paper to size needed. When happy print your logo on the decal paper. When dry mist Humbrol spray acrylic Matt varnish over in a few very light coats from a distance and let dry. When happy cut out soak in water and apply to the area and use Microsoft and microset decal solution as required and position the decal then it will conform to the area and go over all the detail flush. Hope this helps dude :)
He does have an ab crunch it's just very tight. Just apply some pressure and he will bend!

Have you ever had problems with Customs for importing KO Transformers?
Jeroen Meester LOL! I have... I’m in California and purchased the Weijiang Oversized Optimus and megs from eBay and both figures were in customs for over a month and then released, not to mention a few other things purchased from China from different vendors.
@@dunce237, that's not what I meant, I live in the Netherlands, and some of the people here have had their packages destroyed by customs and gotten fined, it's not legal to import KO here.

Have you ever thought of putting all of your Megatrons into a Mexican standoff?
i think the reason its harder to chip the paint is because it may be unpainted similar to what transform element did with their optimus its just unpainted plastic with a few bits of paint for added detail which in my opinion should be the standard paint should be added detail not every detail it just jacks the price up

Well your review convinced me to go ahead an pre-order this Megatron. Got my first MP figure for Christmas; the recent MP-10 toysrus release and he looked lonely sitting there without his sworn enemy, but I couldn't pull the tigger on MP-36 and it's $200 plus price tag. Now if I can just resist all the other figures I want.......

UPDATE 2020Mar05: So it's been a year since I got this beast. My prior thoughts still stick for the most part. Despite my thought that the THF reigns supreme due to having the G1 toy style face and chest plate, this guy's still nice. (The smiley face is my choice for the "stock" face) A couple quirks to my copy:
1. The battle damaged face won't fit. Period. The molding of the platform with the peg seems to be a bit shorter, so the peg can't even reach the hole in the head.
UPDATE 2020Mar05: Now, idkwtf happened, but after a year of having it, the battle damaged face FINALLY FITS!!
2. The thigh swivels seem to be a LITTLE off. Even with adjusting the legs & ankles, he seems to have a slight slant to the right. It's not as glaring as something like my copies of MP Soundwave or even TR Soundwave, but it's there.
3. Between those Kremzeek figurines, it seems that only the blue one is molded to stand properly; the purple wants to fall (but doesn't, usually), and the yellow *can't* stand up at all...probably meant to be held in the hand.
4. Is the LED in both your cannons red? The LED & switch on my cannon with the Frank Welker clips are both purple...
5. The gun hammer halves that hold the thighs together? They have a habit of coming undone. Not too frequently, but it _DOES_ happen fairly often.

Ben, I followed the purchase link to TF-Direct. The photos of the figure look pretty different. Obviously it’s 3 years later, has anything changed with the figure being sold here? I love the fig in your video but the pics in TFD not so much. Thanks in advance for any info.

What do you think looks better next to Takara MP-44?

Love your vids Ben. The comparisons are really helpful for me as someone who has very limited money to spend on this stuff. A quick question if you have the time. At around 18:06 when you show all of the accessories you seem to have a yellow, purple and blue Kremzeek. I just picked this guy up and mine only came with the blue one...do you know if the extra ones were some kind of early order incentive? Really pleased with it by the way. Hey Ben just wondering but for the Damage chest insignia situation,wouldn't a Water decal work for it? That sticks to almost everything lol. Also really debating if I want to really replace Maketoys Despotron with this.? Any thoughts?

Well I got this sucker. Sold Despotron for it since this version had better pros and cons stats for me. Aside from feeling the transformation was the total opposite of fun, I LOVED this figure... Until I went to transform it back to robot mode and a leg broke off at the hip. I don't think I can fix it. Even drilling both connection points and adding a steel bar and glue wouldn't make for a very dependable fix. Getting those inner crotch parts to move into place for both modes takes too much force.

Toyhouse factory looks like he has a smaller head. Maybe thats why he looks shorter? The shoulders look the same height, but at the head he looks shorter. Smaller head or shorter neck?
