Wife sleeping quietly next to me so didn’t watch with audio BUT caught the you sold ZO6 for a profit. Good for you Man!!! Two schools of thought…In my experience I was fortunate to have bought a 1970 Shelby convertible for 40k before they spiked to approx. 160k…so that’s an option when spending 100 plus on a vehicle/future investment/sell to put kids through college etc. OR… if not needing an escape pod for you and the Mrs only(sports car etc.)…there are very quick/beautiful cars such as the Audi RS6 Avant wagon which are more family friendly. Having said all that,my wife and I bought a new 2014 Honda Odyssey and it has been the best family vehicle we have ever owned…no lie! Having nice things/cars etc. are nice but sometimes really nice things unfortunately make you and your family targets to criminals. I read somewhere years ago that the most commonly bought car by the super wealthy was a Buick…to stay under the radar etc. Just my two cents Brother…

My wife and I both have 3 years or less left on our car payments. Ford F150 and Audi Q5. Very happy with both vehicles and hope to go payment free for minimum 5 years. Save money during that time and than pay cash for our retirement vehicle.

I agree, I want one of these cars myself. But I ask myself the same questions..I think to feel comfortable owning that car you should be able to afford at least 2 or 3 of them and it maybe it would make the purchase feel more comfortable?

I think it was a smart investment, buying your car and selling it. But question, how would you get taxed off the sell of your car? I understand taxes when buying a car but not selling one. Could you explain , why u have to claim that on your taxes?
You have to pay taxes on purchase as well as any capital gains
