Watching the broadcast-Mystik Dan in the paddock before the race was calm and collected. Super exciting to see him run big in the stretch and get it done. Props to all connections

the stewards not doing their job , must have been asleep but mystic dan ran a great grace and i wonder if muth was in the running how he would have finished ,forever young was in my top two to win they has no problem DQing maximum security but great show as always

Like the conversations about confirmation and angles in horses. Has there ever been a study of how many low priced horses vs how many high priced horses become champions?
I also appreciate how well Mr. McPeek knows his horses’ personalities.
I watched the Derby to see if it would go off without a catastrophe. I was thrilled it and the undercard races were raced safely. There were two horses that were vanned off during the week’s races at Churchill and as of a couple days ago they were apparently still alive. Their names were published in PR.
Endlessly did beat half the field of these dirt horses by coming in ninth, and he did not suffer any injures. He will return to the turf after a freshening. He is a cool horse.
Just FYI will always be a favorite of mine. She did well in my opinion.
Maybe Fierceness just doesn’t want to race unless he is in the mood. Or maybe he values being a member of the herd. Nut case? No.
Who was the horse to the immediate right of Mystik Dan that supposedly gave way for Mystik Dan’s push through that tight hole on the rail?
The stewards were an embarrassment to horse racing. If a foul occurs, it occurs. Call it. It is especially galling to me if the reason for not calling the foul is because it didn’t impede a horse moving forward. To me fouls are also important in discouraging reckless racing not just in ensuring the correct order of finish,

The best horse won that day,the hole opened up he had the quickness and speed to get through it.I don’t get the big deal about the inquiry it was for second and third place not first anyway.

Doesn’t. Like kick back. Many horses don’t like kick back. So if they all had the same trip is irrelevant. Am I missing something?
I can’t imagine any horse really likes kickback-thrives on it. Yes, some won’t deal with it at all. I thought the jockey says it didn’t bother FY as much as the kickback in Japan does.

I have not seen a single objection in Japanese racing racind and not single disqualification, they don't believe in it.
Same thing at Hong Cong racing.
And Domestic Product lost a shoe and grabbed a quarter.
Honor Marie had a tough race, has I believe a strained tendon.

📢 Just because Muth beat Mystik Dan in Arky Derby, doesn't mean that Muth would have had a good chance at winning the Kentucky Derby. 1) Not guaranteed that he could get the distance 2) Just Steel beat MD in Arky Derby and MD whopped him in the KD. And 3) Muth would have been up close next to Fierceness near the fast pace. Most of the horses near the pace besides MD faltered to the back at the end of the race. Maybe Muth would keep going but to make the assumption that Muth would've won the Derby easily if he was in is a little silly.
They love Bob and all his horses breathe different air to them. 😂

Kentucky stewards need to be fired or sent to some bush track in Mongolia,Lots of money spent in this race and Sierra Leon needed to come down,what a travesty.
FY cut off SL at the top of the stretch costing him the race. Don’t talk to me about inquiries.
Chad Brown failed as a trainer, when it comes to Sierra Leone, he put so many people and horses at risk.
