+Mike Hunt There is a veil... a veil shrouding the answer to an age long question. Have you ever thought of death? That feeling you get... when you come to terms with what death is and what happens afterwards. It's a feeling unlike any other, and you never feel it again besides this one moment. That feeling is you just looking past our perception of disconnectedness and seeing the true nature of it all... without perception. Just reality. And that is what this song brings about. This song captures the unanswered question and it's meaning... it makes you really think of that age old question. Yet... we don't even know the question. It's told in so many ways. So, I'll say this. What is your perception of the question and it's answer, and how would you identify it?
Honestly, Interstellar has the best soundtrack of any sci-fi motion picture made in the last 35 years. For lack of a better word, the music in this movie is stunning. It will make your blood freeze quicker than the suffocating vacuum of space.
fun fact - blood will boil in space before it freezes. The international space stations' solar panels double as heat _dissipaters_ because despite the low temperature of space, heat has nowhere to go due to the lack of density of space. this lack of density, or pressure if you will, leads most liquids to evaporate as opposed to freezing. tl;dr, space is warmer than you might think!
@@Zomgcookei It is not the heat that makes water boil in space but just the lack of pressure. If you are not in direct sunlight, space is freezing, it is as cold as it gets, but the low pressure lowers the boiling point of water. You can even observe this on mountains, temperature has nothing to do with it. The reason satellites and space stations have heat shields is because they come into direct sunlight, this is why only one side of James Webb is shielded.
Too late for Earth exploration, yet too early for space exploration. While we muddle through and bear the hardships of social and technological issues, we make way for future generations. I hope and pray that one day our descendants can take off and walk towards the heavens with the technology developed by the blood and sweat of humanity. I hope and pray that one day, we can explore and inhabit other planets because we can and not because Earth is no longer habitable.
Hans Zimmer may have a more impressive resume than Thomas right now, but Hans is also 57 and Thomas is 35. He has made very impressive inroads and is already emerging into the "major leagues" of Epic genre. Imagine Thomas Bergersen's resume at 57.
One can not simply state "This is beautiful". It is not a beautiful piece of music, it is beyond that. It needs no words to describe its beauty. All it needs, are ears, and a committed heart.
***** This song is fine for a trailer, it would have distracted the audience in the movie. Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too feel-good Hollywood and busy. Every single piece of the soundtrack is amazing and awe-inspiring. When was the last time you've heard organs in such a grand fashion? The soundtrack was grand and epic but also quite subdued. Great contradiction.
yep, because its popular and critics want to appear edgy actually though interstellar was voted the greatest movie ever made in the latest sight and sound poll, which is actually a really authoritative and prestigious film poll. it beat citizen kane to top spot. and the poll is only done every ten years.
A Superman Movie directed by Steven Speilberg!!! It would some right since superman(with Henry Cavill still playing him) is one of the OGs and Speilberg tackled aliens coming from other planets inhabiting earth before!
I have the suspicion that Thomas wrote this with the movie in mind to anticipate that music being chosen for the trailers. He told an interviewer that he sometimes does that. Either way, the music fits the trailer perfectly, as does Hans' music to the film.
When you listen this song at your phone with headset at night outside with stars, you wanna fly up and leave the Solar system, explore and going to a new paradise Earth-like world.
The earth may have been explored by others, but it’s not about being first. it’s about your own unique, spiritual journey where you discover yourself in the reflection of your experiences, and ultimately find that true peace is always in your heart when you learn to quiet the mind.
The man is a god of epic scores. This track is the only one that i remember from the movie Interstellar. Hans Zimmer's contributions are overshadowed by this gem of a soundtrack. This one score made the interstellar trailer feel epic ,especially when they were about to cross the boundary of the wormhole. I felt like travelling with them in to the vortex of the wormhole. Part of that was due to this tailor made song for it.
actually, thomas bergeson in an interview stated that none of their music are tailor made for anything. so producers go into the massive collection of tracks form tsfh's industrial albumns and find the track they want. also, btw, tsfh doesnt do in film music, unlike hans zimmer as thomas said that he didnt want their music to play second fiddle to the movie scene. they make trailer music as they feel that trailer music plays a larger role in the trailer than flim background music plays in a film. :)
+Nelson Chow That is true considering the fact that this particular track is one of the many that got released in Two Steps from Hell's album called Sun.On top of that as a fellow viewer of the aforementioned film, i don't even remember any of the scores done specifically for it. That being, I am a fan of the simple and elegant chord plays that H.Zimmer does for movies. But i listen to this track at least once a day. :)
This music makes me think how the multiverse, dimensional verses, omniverse, xenoverse, and the entire existince look like and a war going on. Love this music❤❤❤
chargama _ I'm glad you liked them. Honestly, though, you could just go on the Two Steps From Hell channel, and listen to any of their songs, I sincerely doubt you'll be disappointed. Thomas Bergersen is one of the three I consider the Holy Trinity of Modern Orchestral / Modern Classical music. 1. Thomas Bergerson (the Beethoven) 2. Hans Zimmer (the Vivaldi) 3. John Powel (the Mozart)
I think of the scene when they're travelling along the black hole. How the forces pull them and the ship integrates. Cooper's bravery and skills are unmatched.
When we break the sky, and finally spread in the galaxy. Promise that we will continue together as a species. We can not repeat the same mistake in a intergalactic scale. Promise me humanity?
born to early to explore our universe... Stuffs like dark matter, dark energy, black hole, white holes, wormhole, multiverse and infinite space and time totally blew our mind.
Sounds almost like a Tron sound track, similar to the Solar Rail track, where they are racing to the portal to escape the grid....love this track....amazing
How is it possible to make a song as beautiful as this one ? Why am I close to cry ?
Because a genius composed this song.
True
It Touch your soul

Thomas Bergerson, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, and Michael Giacchino are my favourite composers. Absolutely brilliant.
Erin L and Howard Shore of course, and and - there's many more like them
Daniel Stambolski Right! Howard Shore! I'm a huge Lord of the Rings fan, how could I forget him? ahaha
Erin L Don't forgot The Cinematic Orchestra and Ludovico Einaudi! ;)
Alessandro Gerelli I love The Cinematic Orchestra!!!
Erin L yeah! they're so exciting!
thomas bergersen is one scary person.
why?
because of the transcending, timeless, epic music he makes.
+abdulqudz89 i begin to wonder if he is a human being like the rest of us

Best movie of the year, ,masterpiece! Don´t believe the critics!
HuesingProductions best movie. music ..hans zimmer ..best
@Alex A thats ok. u dumb and too dumb to get the idea that are too dumb to understand it.
That movie was so fucking epic. Love Thomas Bergersens Trailer Music, but to me a big part of the movie was especially Hans Zimmer's Music
hans zimmer's is the legend

Dat organ doe.
I agree, Hans Zimmer is my god, but Thomas Bergersen's trailer music, especially "Final Frontier," mesmerizes me even more.
Einfach Genial. Mir fehlen die Worte um zu beschreiben wie sehr dieser Song meinen Geschmack trifft. Auf guten Kopfhörern ist es eine Explosion
This song really gives you the kind of extraterestrial vibes

it was

@@shaunhumphreys6714 No it didn't. Alfred Hitchcock's Vertigo was the film to dethrone Citizen Kane.

hell yeah they should
And they will probably never read it.
absolutely
They have to save our planet first, otherwise there will be no mission at all (to Mars or any other planet)...
