Episode 6 of The Wildlife Estate Diaries is all about leopards! I talk about some of the older leopards that used to move through The Hoedspruit Wildlife Estate, how I monitored them, and how I did leopard research in Botswana's Northern Tuli Game Reserve. I also introduce you to Marine Servonnat of the Ingwe Research Program, who is doing amazing work in the greater Hoedspruit area, monitoring the leopard population with the help of citizen scientists who are kind enough to share their leopard sightings and trail-camera footage with her.
She also tells us more about their exciting new project involving the R40 Road and how YOU can get involved to help ensure the safety of Hoedspruit's leopard population. Please follow the links above to get involved.
