"Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me, declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, 'My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all My purpose'". ~ Isaiah 46:9-10 (ESV)
"Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the Lord, that He may have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon." ~ Isaiah 55:6-7 (ESV)
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. Thank you so much for what you've shared as well as the insight you bring. You summed up the concept of a Black Swan event really well considering that it is such a tough idea to grasp. I also think it's brave and perceptive of you to be able to tie this into biblical prophecy, in order to highlight its relevance in our lives. If I may add, this particular concept was innovated by a Lebanese-American mathematical statistician called Nassim Nicholas Taleb, who goes into great length about this particular phenomenon in his book, "The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable". A classic example of a Black Swan event would be 9/11. The author describes a Black Swan as an "outlier" on page xxii in the Prologue of the book mentioned above and goes onto write that "it lies outside the realm of regular expectations, because nothing in the past can convincingly point to its possibility. Second, it carries an extreme impact. Third, in spite of its outlier status, human nature makes us concoct explanations for its occurrence after the fact, making it explainable and predictable. I stop and summarize the triplet: rarity, extreme impact, and retrospective (though not prospective) predictability." I think what this teaches us as Christians is the danger of becoming proverbial sleepwalkers, and the challenge for us is to remain awake like watchmen. The Garden of Gethsemane experience where Jesus asked his three disciples to keep watch in his hour of need grips my heart when I think about this. God bless.

Exactly right. Two different comings. One where we are gathered together unto Him, and the other is the Day of the Lord. Paul was looking for one of those Comings (1 Thessalonians 1:10, Philippians 3:20, 4:5), which is the coming he is beseeching them with. But the other coming, Paul is not looking for (for THAT DAY shall not come except the falling away or Departure happens first and the man of sin is revealed).

The problem with interpretating scripture is that the majority of cristians never use any references or for examples like the Talmud, Michnah, Gemarah, and Zohar to name a few and because of that lack of hebrew references it makes it harder on the ears of the listener's I'll give you one example when you read that Yeshua came to the jews and the jews did not receive him you come to the understanding that all or the majority of the jews did not believe Yeshua teachings but the original text say that Yeshua came to the leaders and the leaders did not receive him, so when I read the original hebrew text I find out the the leaders of second Temple era was Shammai i understood that Shammai did not believe the teachings of Yeshua but Hillel did see major differences.
Shammai and Hillel were always contradicting one another.

The Time of Jacob's Trouble and the Wrath of the Lamb does not begin until the midpoint of the 70th week. The AntiChrist and his armies will make seige against Jerusalem and commit the Abomination of Desolation at the midpoint. Mathew 24 and Luke 21 makes this clear.

  • @TheWatchmansPost3929

The ac confirms Israel's covenant with the many (as opposed to the few, the remnant). The 144,000 will be all over the earth preaching their Gospel, and will not be falling for the ac's tricks. The 144,000 will also be teaching Israel, many of which started off believing the ac guy, but turned to Christ through the 144,000. You are applying Israel's doctrine for their 70th week to the Body of Christ Church. The 144,000 Jews will be found worthy to escape the 2nd half of Israel's 70th week. They will be preaching their Gospel during the 1st half to all the world. They will be picking up where the original Apostles left off. It isn't for the Body of Christ. He ascended up before their 70th week was supposed to begin the first time. Just like we will ascend up before it actually happens.

What I am identifying is that God will provide security for Israel. They will not need any security agreement with the AntiChrist in the aftermath of the Gog/Magog battle of Ezekiel 38/39. Therefore Israel being part of the "covenant with many" is a fable, not based on scriptural reality.

It's Israel's 70th week. It's their prophecy and their doctrine is accordingto that Prophecy. Pentecost was to seal them with the Holy Spirit, just like the 144,000 of Revelation 7 will be sealed. It's the reason for all those gifts and protections in Mark 16. It's why Israel was selling all that they had and giving to the community of believers. They knew in a moments notice they would have to leave everything in a hurry. They have a different doctrine for a different purpose.

They will be picking up where the 1st century Apostles left off before Israel's fall. They will be preaching Israel's Gospel of the Kingdom in all the world before the end comes (Matthew 24:14). The "end" is the 2nd half of Israel's 70th week. And how do you ever dare to suggest that God is indifferent to the struggles of his people. He says he is an ever present help in trouble. He is enemy to no man and that He is for us. Your words are not encouraging or suggestive of a loving God. Do you believe some deserve wrath and some don't based on good works? Indeed, Paul suffered greatly and it was because of the enemy hating him, not surely to a lack of good works. But he was preserved to fulfill God's will. _Heaven must receive_ Jesus Christ "until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began" Acts 3:20-21. Compare Acts 1:6-7.
Therefore, the Lord will not _descend_ from heaven, 1 Thessalonians 4:16, until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
God has not altered prophecy for the church of the mystery. The prophetic "coming of the Lord", 1 Thessalonians 4:15, occurs only _one_ time, not two or more times.
In 1 Thessalonians 5:9 wrath is contrasted with _salvation,_ not _location._
Therefore, during God's wrath the Lord expects us to keep watching. Revelation 16:15.
Revelation 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that _watcheth, and keepeth his garments,_ lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
Revelation 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
_They kept their garments._ Revelation 16:15. These are the same company described in Revelation 17:14, the church militant, said to be in heaven because that is often called the kingdom of heaven, and because their names are written in heaven (Hebrews 12:23), and they are of heavenly extract, they are born from above, and are partakers of the heavenly calling (Hebrews 3:1). Comapare Ephesians 2:6.
Etheridge's translation of the Syraic Peschito renders it, "armies _of_ heaven," which is clearly more accurate.
Murdock's translation of the Peschitta (added later) renders it, "the soldiery _of_ heaven."

The Greek word Paul used for mystery means a secret doctrine now revealed. There is no secret that tribulation will be a time of persecution. The tribulation is Jacob's Trouble, it is to bring Israel to their Messiah,Jesus. If you are a true believer who puts all of your faith in what Jesus did on the cross shedding His blood to cover the sins of mankind, past, present and future. He died, rose again and is coming back for us before tribulation. There are no works that you can do to save yourself. Your trust must be fully in Jesus. Tribulation starts with the seals opening. Jesus opens the seals. They are not the devil's wrath. They are the wrath of God since Jesus is fully God as the 2nd Person of the Trinity. The church of Philadelphia speaks tobthe faithful Christians who are weary from seeing what is coming and waiting for the rapture. The church of Laodecia is most ofthe present day church, not watching and relying on themselves for salvation. These will become the tribulation saints.
Why are so many trolling pretribulation sites and spewing vitriol against the pretribulation rapture even to the point of calling it demonic? In my humble opinion,it is because Satan knows it is true. He just doesn't know when it is,but he knows it is close just as we who ae watching know. He uses people like you to cast doubt among believers and turn them away from the gospel of truth and the comfort of the coming rapture. I pray that the scales fall from your eyes and you can see.
