My Japanese in-laws have such a toilet with the sink on top. I discovered it was in 1999. I’m sure had been there quite a while as it did not look new .
Keyboard in the thumbnail = total clickbait this 12 minute video could have been 5 minutes. I wish I could sue for the wasted time. No more video watched for you.
Oh wow. That is some funny stuff. Specially the "face wrapper". I'm so glad I'm not a Lady living in Japan 😂 Also how the heck these people way inside gets out of the train....talking 'bout having a BAD MONDAY right there hah haa ! I must say the Hair Holder Helmet is fantastic idea ! Thanks for the entertainment & giggles ! 😂👌👍
shit that toilet is prety godly, the amount of water thats being wasted daily, I doubt we'll have clean water in 50 yrs to flush the toilet or water in general.
I was stationed in Japan for almost 12 years (total 4 of tour of duty) when I was in the military...I admire and respect them Japanese a lot. I've had a lot of good memories and great experiences. I just miss the place, the culture and the lifestyle over there, a lot. The best, the most genius, most disciplined, most polite, and most organized and tidy Asian people on the planet...if only Japan was affordable (like in Philippines) to live in, I'd rather live there than any other places in the world...:)
+Qmiko- so start keeping a list of the most annoying advertisers then contact them to let them know why you will be boycotting their products. They do it because they think it sells product. Let them know they've lost your business. I've been very successful with this- first, they send me coupons to try their products, but if I don't really want what they're selling nothing speaks louder than sending their coupons back to them with an I mean it note- you're boycotted. Too bad we can't get all consumers to work together.
The toilet idea is a great idea, I'm surprised no one else thought of it elsewhere. They should make systems like that mandatory. The sink doesn't have to go right over the toilet tank, just use sink water to refill the toilet.
Andy Evans Not needed all over the world. Some countries has so much fresh water that saving water isn't a thing. The water is basically free, you only pay for the utilities.
If you live in Denver, Colorado, you can see the water saving sink at the Mercury Cafe, in the men's room (probably the lady's room also, but I can't verify that). It's been there for at least 10 years.
Clorox Bleach hope this helps! *New World = The Americas* _The Americas_ = Western Hemisphere _Western Hemisphere_ = North America, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean _North America_ = northern continent _Central America_ = central region of Western Hemisphere _South America_ = southern continent _United States of America = Democratic republic comprised of 50 states _US/USA/America_ = country _Columbia_ = America personified _Americans_ = people of America _American_ = English language spoken in America _Latin America_ = South America _Latin Americans_ = people of South Americans of European lineage _African-American_ = negroes of America _Anglo-Americans_ = Anglo-Saxons _Russian America_ = state of Alaska _native American_ = anyone born in America _Native Americans_ = American Indians _American Indians_ = West Indians _Amerigo Vespucci_ = explorer/source of America as a word
The water saving sink isn't only in Japan. It has been implimented in many countires. They are even out here in America. So yeah, first "fact" on this list is wrong. Im not feeling very confident.
There was a toilet with faucet in the apartment in Tokyo where I stayed in 2007. Very good idea when the toilet is separate from the bathroom and you don't have a sink to wash you hands afterwards.
HBN Infotech - Tutorials you notice how weird this guy sounds when talking. He mispronounced like, 20 words, sounds like he's getting closer and further from the mic constsntly, theres tons of jump cuts, and he pauses randomly. Tfff.
There is so much letters at japan there is 3 types Its Katakana, KanJi and Hiragana There is so many letters That you have to use a big keyboard idk how to call it but when my mom bought me pc and when i saw the keyboard i was like WTF
About the thumbnail, the round keyboard actually only exists in China. Japan uses the English keyboard that is reprogrammed to input Japanese characters, usually Katakana.
SoundHarvest Sort of... The keyboards are QWERTY, but with more keys and punctuation rearranged (a pain in the ass for ex-pats...)! Input can be switched between katakana, hiragana, and alphanumeric (the 3rd being used most commonly).
That keyboard doesn't exist in japan. In modern japan the keyboard has the qwerty setup where you pressed the space button for each variation you want of it. For example if you type sa さ will appear and hit space for it to be katakana サ. You can also keep pressing space for symbols. For example type ai to get あい, hit the space button once for katakana form, アイ, then hit again times for a symbol such as, 愛.
That keyboard picture is usually used to describe how non-Chinese speakers think Chinese keyboards are - filled with hundreds of keys, each a different character. In fact we Chinese just use the same keyboard as everyone else. We usually use pinyin typing methods, which mean we have a small program that converts the letter-like pinyin to characters. Mostly importantly, that keyboard IS NOT in the video. Congrats if you get click-baited like me.
The keyboard was clickbait.
This needs to be top comment. Watched the video just for the keyboard, didn't see the comment until I was nearly through it.

It's not any countries keyboard, it's a prank picture. lol You don't even know how Japanese or Chinese keyboards work, do you?
Wow... This took way longer than it needed too! First and last time watching a video from this channel.
"Japanese don't measure their room size in square feet or inches". Well, obviously. They are civilized people, and they measure in square meters.
MasterBata exactly cm2 And m2 are the way to go
+kurichan77 you prob didn't get the joke
Zerebrat Eightyseven you are correct.
cm2 and m2? I prefer cm² and m²
Maya R, actually it's m² & cm², not the big 2!! You gotta work on your G.K.

5 ads in a 13 minute video, clickbait picture, awkward pauses in the narration everywhere, what a waste of time lol

Qmiko The video didn't even need to be 13 minutes, this could've been done in 4, they did this to reach the 10 minute mark and get more money
Was 8 ads for me....WHY.

I used a toilet/sink combo in Tokyo in 2004. Great idea! Glad to see it on here. I had actually forgotten about it until I saw this!
You do know that misleading thumbnail is against the youtube policies
Drayqun Is it?
Yeah so you can just report him....
Spending 3 minutes saying the same thing in 87 different ways should be against the policies as well.
The toilet idea is a great idea, I'm surprised no one else thought of it elsewhere. They should make systems like that mandatory. The sink doesn't have to go right over the toilet tank, just use sink water to refill the toilet.
The first one is awesome, this idea very much needed in India to save water
Roopa.D Manjunath wut
I think it's a good idea around the world
But after eating food if you use I think then it's a bar Idea
Andy Evans Not needed all over the world. Some countries has so much fresh water that saving water isn't a thing. The water is basically free, you only pay for the utilities.
U do know how difficult it would be to keep the reservoir clean?
That's why I love Japan when it comes to gadgets... ;)

My relatives in Japan have had the water-saving sinks in their bathrooms going back to at least the early 70’s when I started visiting.
I've seen all of these things outside of Japan.
The best recycling design ever!

At first I the burger cover was dumb. Then it worked... Brilliant!

This principle has been in use from the 1950s in Japan. I have used it many times.

Sink on toilet tank was invented in Australia in the 90's and was showcased a TV program the New Inventors
I'm reporting this nonsense
For the toilet/sink, it actually was already everywhere when I went to Japan around 2001...
We need that toilet in America
Sarada Uchiha it is in America in some of it's prisons.
I had one of these water saving toilets installed into my home in Perth Australia in 2009! Old news!!!
Wow that keyboard was the best on the list. SMH 😠
Did you actually Believe in that?
The note of sarcasm that was implied was pretty obvious😉I hate clickbait
Sorry i didn't know if you were real after Reading the other comments.
He wasn't click baiting. He was finding a neat thumbnail to attract people as a way of representing some sort of cool/unique product.
Joe Busby Japanese use english keyboard '-'
But the thumbnail isn't in the video, and most people watched for it
Irialis Almeida exactly
Quit it with the clickbait.
The Japanese toilet sinks have been around for a lot longer. I first saw one in 1998 at a friend's house in Japan.
jesus the presenter's voice is boring
Sheena1234ization it’s perfect for me to fall asleep too 😴 gonna take a nap right now 🤗
I once designed a water-saving toilet that recycled the flushed toilet water into a sink to wash one's hands.
It hasn't caught on just yet.
Could one just( shit in the sink)?
I like the way you think
Theoretically... yes you could and if the shit didn't fit down the hole, just let the water run until it breaks the shit up and it goes down the sink
It's way easier to just do it in the shower and waffle stomp it down the drain.
My wife has a Harley Davidson helmet we bought in 2009 that has a cutout for a pony tail. It is not new, it is not only in Japan!
i wounder how does keyboards looks like in china
