In this video you'll learn how to make an origami ant from a single square sheet of paper. It is a box pleated model based on a 32x32 grid.
This origami ant isn't too difficult to fold, there are no tricky steps. For best results use thin paper with at least 20cm x 20cm (or 15cm x 15cm if your paper is really good and you are experient). Printer paper works for learning and you can print the crease pattern from my website to make it easily.
You can wet-shape the legs in the end for better results if your paper allows it.

I remember making your origami when I was younger and as expected your designs are phenomenal such as this one.
Usually nowadays I don’t see anyone fascinating over these to much anymore due to other popular things but your designs will forever be beautiful to my eyes.
If you could try a centipede that be amazing, take all the time you need though.

Дивовижні витвори. Красно дякую за кожне відео. Прекрасно сконструйована кожна модель. Навіть за умови, що в мене немає спеціального паперу, кожен раз фігурка виходить з першого разу. Навіть, якщо це доволі складні речі, прикладом, як цей мураха.
Окрема дяка за дуже зрозумілі послідовні схеми і те, що ви відтворюєте процес у реальному часі. Слідування за руками дуже сильно полегшує процес.
Навіть не уявляю, як ви створюєте, конструюєте нове. Для мене це майже магія 😊

I love yours on the thumbnail but i'm honestly disappointed with mine. I didn't have black paper, so we see very well the grid of the final ant. what's more i didn't quite understand the last step. Maybe in the tutorial white paper would be more practical because we can see better what you do.
Anyway, thanks a lot for sharing, i had a great time struggling on it even though i don't like the end result
