I remember making your origami when I was younger and as expected your designs are phenomenal such as this one. Usually nowadays I don’t see anyone fascinating over these to much anymore due to other popular things but your designs will forever be beautiful to my eyes. If you could try a centipede that be amazing, take all the time you need though.
I watch Mr Nakashima's videos at 2x speed, as I do most videos these days, and it gets me laughing every time how aggressive the music sounds! Like slow down on those maracas man, geez! XD

what about it? use the squares to help you count where you need to be, and utilize the tip of the squash fold to isolate the localation, if youre off move over one left or right in the grid. it is unfortunately a possibility your paper may not be able to handle a model like this too
I love yours on the thumbnail but i'm honestly disappointed with mine. I didn't have black paper, so we see very well the grid of the final ant. what's more i didn't quite understand the last step. Maybe in the tutorial white paper would be more practical because we can see better what you do. Anyway, thanks a lot for sharing, i had a great time struggling on it even though i don't like the end result
*_I just tried this pattern, it only looks best when folded with thin paper, otherwise the folds are too thick and won't be able to create the desired shape for the parts. In general, this is also a weakness of the "box pleat" form._*
