In regards to SHREK on the top of your pump there is a destroke valve you have to screw it all the way down and destroyed the pump if it gets trash in there it will do this to prevent it from failure. Start tractor and screw valve in then back it out and you will hear engine load and probably feel the steering move a little try that. If the valve hasn't been installed there is a plug you have to remove

Oooh man do I ever know that look of discouragement…… anything plumbing or irrigation related takes at least 3 trips to the hardware store, a hole 5 times the size you originally thought and double the cost!
Add in the lovely Texas heat and the fact that you are no where near a hardware store that is remotely close by and even if it was they probably wouldn’t have the parts you needed requiring you to get “creative” to try and just get the project done, and now that you have committed to overcoming this challenge, with determination in your eyes you muster up the strength to press on one more time to the next place racing as fast as you can because it’s Friday night and they don’t open on Saturday, they close in 5 minutes and you are 7 minutes away!

Stub the pvc just above the slab and use the braided stainless steel flex lines to connect the waterer. Use pool noodles to insulate. Works for me.
Yes, stainless would be better.

Id have to rewatch the whole things to pick up where the 5pm thing came from but yes we are still carnivore. We do a semi carnivore friendly ice cream on the weekends.
John deere compact tractor have attachments too, I have one they are better than the older tractors because you can put other attachments on it.

My quest for knowledge never ends. Trades use different lingo for certain items. In electrical someone said go get a mouse not a rat. I thought it was a prank. Skyhook, lamp bender, etc. But the difference is size of the conduit. That way they use compressed air to shoot a through a conduit with appropriate wire or rope to use a machine to pull the wire through. Poor guy at the other end had to continuously grease/soap the conduit to reduce friction. Innovation now has come so far that wire manufacturers now make the sheathing better for less friction. Same as pipeline call it a pig. Many different variations of pigs now to effectively perform a task. Great video.
