So can that thing actually go in a straight line going fast...not having adjusts is okay if car handles well... does gyro have any adjustments? So you never burned it up on that big 3s? If so its a nice little driveway racer imo...

I've driven the sg1005 and I really liked it, but there are some small issues that need to be fixed right out of the box. 1 being the servo. It's plastic geared and too weak, an easy swap out though. The diffs only have grease so putting power down evenly is hard. The 1004 has smaller wheels so the ballooning isn't as bad, but that affects control on 3s. They are really cool cars, but a bit over priced. You would get more value out of the HNR Panther until SG releases a V2 with fixes 👍
I have sg infraction type truck 1/16 and i agree the servo sucks..i also converted mine to brushless,even with gyro its not anything like my new hyper go 1/14 truck..i actually ran it last night on my 3s 80c ovonic 1300...my guess is 45 mph...Great little rock solid rc imo...gyro is also amazing ,i can turn it up to 75% and still no wiggle and its locked in...other cheap gyro i installed had to have gains turned way down to stop wiggle,which also reduced gyro function almost completely..thanks for sharing

Checkout sg918 pro at BG.its new on road race car 1/16 brushless..they claim 70km per hour on 1300 2s stock batt...all metal diffs 3 wire servo ,great tires ..claims its 15 cm wide..i like it, not sure if its as good as they make it out to be...take a look if you can and tell me your thoughts..could add better shocks and wish it had adjustable steering linkage...but if they fixed the issues my sg/uti 1/16 had (crappy ,twitchy, servo etc) it could be a great car...i just don't know...thanks

They also have brushed one...but that one has nylon diffs vs metal...also see them on ali even cheaper... not sure if it has gyro..but i actually have mjx hyper go gyro on the way...i think the gyro on hyper go truck i have is awesome...can't wait to see your opinion on this car...if you can get it to go straight and fast with no bs like sg 1/16 i bought 4 years ago thats a big plus...thanks again 😊
On the fence..how fast do you think it can go? 20 mph? ALso you seemed to run it hard on 3s.did you check temps...and do you think 3s will not burn up controller or motor? This seems like a great car to run a course in my drive way...thanks from the great durability test..😊
Yeah I'd say 20+ for sure. It got warm, but not too hot to handle. Pretty impressive 👍

2:52 Can you give me detailed specifications for that gear so I can refer to it and modify that chassis? The accessories of this car company are quite few.
I think it's a mod .7 I took from a WLToys buggy. The whole drive line was toasted and I had to rebuild from scratch because I couldn't find any parts
Thank you very much and I can play with this car for a long time (the axle on the wheel is plastic so it is quite easy to break so I can still CNC it myself and find it somewhere else from another car manufacturer).

That thing really likes to stay on its wheels. I'm very impressed with it and how it jumps and lands. 👍👍👍 It's like a freaking cat landing on its feet no matter what you do.
The only thing that would make it better would be some oil shocks 😉

I got a 2188A from watching yours and Beyond RC's videos. Awesome little car for under $60! My light switch stopped working, but it's great for a rainy day. It does really smooth donuts with those wheels and gyro

@disciplinerc all I did was tape a roll of pennies to the rear to help it slide out easier. It's crazy you got that little thing up to 50mph! 😁😆✌️
