Hi guys, you can download the Pdf for this transcription on our brandnew webiste! www.sharpelevenmusic.com/free-stuff There is some free stuff, as well as a membership option with saxophone lessons, going in depth and exploring/explaining loads of stuff (like those Gerald Altissimo's) that is derived from all those transcriptions we published every week over the last 5 years. Just have look around, it could be fun 😁 Anyways, if you'd like to get some follow up content on this great solo, subscribe and ring that bell icon ;) !
Beautiful transcription work Jorre! It is a fun study in our Skype lessons. Gerald has such a unique articulate style between Grover and Cannonball. It’s nice the guys brought him right here in Salt Lake City to record this. Thanks for posting my friend very cool
@cx777o Oh yeah love listening to trane an Miles Davis guys like that. Horn players are so lyrical in their phrasing. I think we guitar players can learn a lo from other instruments.
@@garysellars8914 Yes sir, you're absolutely right! Also newer players like baptiste herbin, chad lb and alex han are also new sources of material haha

Hey Jorre I think the jumps with the alternate altissimo fingerings we went over would be helpful to everybody...
Or the line at measure 116
I was thinking the same there are soo many great parts in this solo. I think the fingerings would be the most interesting tho.
I was waiting for this transcription for 2+ years and after I decide to try and transcribe it, you upload the video. Great work as always!
Damn, don't let that hold you back! Plenty of other great opportunities still left yet untranscribed 😉

Incredible work! I watch that clip at least once a week and now you have transcribed it...couldnt be happier.

WOW!
I'm a guitar player but will be learning some of those phrases for sure! Great work.
Me too man, doesnt matter the instrument, to learn from sax players and horn players is just sick
Thanks Gary! I'm sure they'll sound great on guitar too! Such soulful phrases by Gerald here👌
