Don't worry, I still have some material to go. And schedule for the next episode is set already. But then I guess we have covered almost every concept.
Awesome videos. Do you know a way to get statistics of habits like streak count, total number of done tasks and so on. Google is not giving me satisfactory result. I am wondering why it's not built into Emacs ?
Great guide. In the Internet is astonishingly too little information on some Org features, like Habbits. And even the manual only brushes on them. Important graphical context and explanation shown only in your video. I have Spacemacs thou, it loads it's own Org setup, and can break if mixed with calls to built-it Org. So so far for my usage of Habbit. Maybe the task to make it work in Spacemacs upstream would come to process.
Thanks, Rainer--your screenshots are very helpful. I have a suggestion: could you go some advanced screencasts about setting up automated processes and functions to manage your org files and sync them across systems, including mobile / iOS? The relative lack of mobile interfaces to one's org files seems to be org-mode's weakest point. For example, if I want to track habits in this way, I'd like to be able to do so on my phone rather than on a laptop. I've recently discovered org-store-agenda-views and want to create a shell script and cron job to periodically run this automatically so I have exports in Dropbox. This is pretty advanced for me. But I also want a way to update the task status remotely from a phone as well. There are many possibilities but I could use help learning how to set up systems like this. Thanks again! --Ryan from WordBrewery
Really great tutorial, thank you for all your work. I was wondering if one could define repeating tasks/habits only for weekdays (Mo-Fr)? I could not find anything useful so far.
hehe, nice def on habit. Can you share you thoughts on blogging. E06 covers things about publishing. I wonder how we can amalgamate these all awesome stuffs to create a simple blog. I found org.js mooz.github.io/org-js/ and some similar works.. but still I am scratching my head figuring out merging them into one. Thanks for all episodes. I learned a lot.
That's what orgmode does for you, when you set the property "STYLE" to "habit". It records every completed task and for every completed task you get one asterik. Explanation is at 6:05.
Excellent tutorial, very useful. Thanks
Keep up Rainer, I love this screencasts series. I've learnt so much, please don't stop!
Vielen Dank.

Great episode. keep them coming, please 👍
Very good video . Well explained
thanks for suggestion on the "result" tracking part.
Very Usefull , Thanks Rainer

Sorry, I have no answer for this as well. At the end you could write a script that evaluates your logbook entries.
I have a sent feature request. Hopefully I will hear in positive note!

You could take a look at Syncthing and Orgzly
Great stuff. Thank you!
Thanks for the video! Any suggestions how to shift consistency graph to the right so it won't hide habit's title?
Sorry, no idea. I just used that habit tracking to implement some habits, but now I'm fine without.
Amazing, thank you!

I was able to combine some hints I found here: orgmode.org/worg/org-faq.html using diary-sexps:
Great pointer to the FAQ. Thanks for that comment.
Thank you! This is useful!

How do you get the asterisks?
They are on my keyboard... ;-) Sorry, I don't get your question.
Those generated in the agenda view for habits.
