It’s impossible for me to watch your videos without smiling. Love your energy. I bought a Nama J2 based on your and other recommendations a few months ago. I love it. I heard about the Almond Cow and the Nutr and I was thinking about getting one of those but now I see that I have everything I need with the J2. Come through J2! Smile. But my mind was completely blown when you said you can remove the skin off the almond. What!!! I’ve been making almond milk for years and never knew that. Thank you so much for your wonderful videos!!!
So I’m debating between the j2 which is replacing my breville as well as an almond cow. Is the j2 an easy clean up process?
I just got my almond cow and i have the J2. With my almond cow, i run it twice. i notice on this video you didn’t show the 3 rounds the almond does before it’s finished. I never tried making milk in my J2 but i will give it a try. Its just that i know the clean up is a lot easier with the almond cow. If you run it twice, the thickness is perfect! But I agree, to be able to make everything in one machine, the J2 is the best choice. However, I sooo happy i got the almond cow! lol

I've had my Soyabella for 12+ years (same type of machine as the almond cow) and I love it. The J2 is on my wish list!
Probably even better and it’s cheaper too! I was going to get that one but ended up with the crappy almond cow! It lasted me 2 yrs with minimal usage! Waste of $$$!
The Nama j2 is a game changer. Not only does it make nut milk, juicing fruits and vegetables, it also makes sorbet on those hot days. All natural fruit and veggie (ice cream) sort of speak.👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾🗯
You can always use less water in the almond cow to get the same consistency and flavor.

I bought the almond cow through kickstarter a few years ago. I have found that with the original, I have to run the cycle 3 times & it comes out much better….. i did buy the Nama J2 about a year ago…..i had no idea you could use it for almond mild……it did come out pretty thick…..and thats great! I will have to try it.. i still like the almond cow….as there are so many nut milks you can make. I also make the cream for my coffee with it also….it has a great cookbook & they always add so many recipes to it……. Thanks for the videos….it gives me more reasons to use my Nama!

I keep my AC bc I love the convenience of putting all ingredients in at once, the froth it creates, and it uses less nuts to make milk. My J2 is cool for batch juicing. Both are essential for me!

WOW - a bundle of energy. I bought the Nama about 1 year ago (not the Nama 2). I did not like the Nama. After watching this video and other videos - the Nama 2 is the better one to go with. I'll have to put the Nama on eBay and get the Nama 2.

Maybe you can add less water to the almond cow to make your milk more thick? I assume it taste different because there's a different ratio of nuts and water than the one you put on the J2?

I just made your almond milk recipe in my J2. It was awesome! I normally buy Elmhurst almond milk but it’s $6 a carton. So thank u for that recipe! Would hemp milk work in the J2 as well?

Thank you for this video! I have the Nama J2 but I am considering the Almond Cow because it looks so easy to make nut milk on-demand! I love that you don't need to soak the nuts. I would love to see a comparison video that shows the same ratio of water/nuts in both machines. I wonder if the Almond Cow would come out on top in that scenario.
Soaking the nuts is still a great step regardless, especially almonds. It allows for them to sprout and it’s gentler on digestion.
Check the chef wave milk maker. Less nuts less waste, great taste. Saves money, no soaking no straining

I believe the Nama tasted better is because in the Nama you used less water and more almonds.

I bought the Almond Cow and returned it. Not happy with the amount of pulp left over and it was watery even with lifting the level using ice. NamaJ2 is much better between these two.
I also invested in a Sana 727 (utilized gift cards to offset price) for its superior leafy green juicing and warranty.
Vitamix plus the manual “Vegan Milker” is equally amazing and better than a nutmilk bag.

I prefer the Sana 727 but the J2 would be my second choice. They are very different types of juicers.
