How is everyone doing in their sobriety walk?
Most of the juicers can juice celery/kale but the long fiberous strings is what causes the clogging so even in the J2 is always best to cut those types of vegetables into small bits to avoid the strings stopping and clogging. I cut them up to save my machine and protect my investment, the rest goes in whole or quick chop (cucs cut in 4 not 2, apples in half and quartered, its about saving your machine !

Can't wait to get one!!! PS I save all my produce bags from the grocery store and put them in the pulp container so all you have to do is take that bag out and throw it away. One less thing to clean!

The answer is simple : Rather a juicer for fruits. If you juice lot of greens you should buy the Tribest Dynapro, the juice yield is about 25 % higher than with vertical juicer.

great vid Jeaneen sure you can do leafy greens, fruits etc however quality of juice, yield, pulp those are important parts of whole juicing experience . My Angel Juicer even though not perfect is still number one in my book

Jeaneen, I just made my first juice in my Nama J2 with kale/spinach on the bottom then broccoli florets followed by broccoli stalks and chopped carrots. I had no fruit so I put some Nudie Aloha blend pure fruit juice in the bottom of the juice jug & stirred it up at the end. It was amazing juice :) I had the juicer facing me with the handle and rotating switch on front and cord at back, juice jug on left. But when I went to Nama & John Kholer they both had the switch on the back and the cord coming out the front! Thankfully I came across your inspirational video & discovered I had the J2 juicer the right way around after all . . . Can't wait to try celery, ginger & garlic when I next leave my beach hut to collect some groceries.

I was definitely looking for something with more greens glad I found this. I would have loved to see the actual clean up process with the top opened to see how much string was stuck. It’s a nightmare in my omega juicer

Cut your celery crosswise like thumb knuckle size and you won’t have that long string problem with celery, I have the Omega vert 360 HD, considering this J2 for ease of use juicing, not so sure of the cleanup, lol
The key is, clean your juicer before you drink the juice. If you let it sit, it is a bear to clean.

I love my Vitamix. It’s a great machine but keep in mind anything that comes out of a vitamix will be blended which makes it a smoothie not juice.

Have you juiced enough celery for about 3 days? I have an old juicer and I have to say, the celery juice tastes awful on day 2. Just wondered if it is any better with this juicer?
That only worked because you add other things to the juice instead of only leafy greens. But lets say you use a GreenStar Elite you don’t need to add apples, cucumbers and celery to make the greens go down.
Jeannee, would the juicer could do cabbage and leafy greens like parsley??? cabbage is really hard, normally i use a centrifugal one but always is a mess and the residue that comes out is always wet. will this be good for that? Cabbage is really good for stomach ulcers and as you know is hard to find a store to buy already made cabbage juice.
but the huge foam on top is indicative that it oxidises, so probably means if juice greens it will oxidise a bit more than juicy fruits?

I remember first when I decided to give juicing a try over 25 year ago; I bough a fast juicer just to see if I would like it and if I though if I would be able to say with it; well after about 4 months I decided I can do this long term and done more research and deeper research on juicing and the benefits of juice especially greens like parsley, cilantro, dandelion, spinach, turnup greens ect ect. So after careful research on juicers I went with the Angel juicer and I use it hard very hard and never a problem and never ever broke any thing... so juicing yes a big bonus to ur health... cheers

@@jeaneen2170 I don't use dill because I am not a dill fan but most juices you can't tell all the things in it any ways. I always use apples to sweeten the juice and some times not, l like a bitter taste lol
If you get real serious about juicing the hardest thing you will find is buying produce that is fully RIPE if the produce is not fully ripe then the produce is acidic to the body and not alkaline and can cause problems.
Any how not to take up to much of ur time and you have a nice day and a juice cheer for you... lol
Lol, you're suppose to chop the celery into halves not just shove them down in the juicer that's why it stopped & the lid popped on you but ya look like you're having a blast I would too I'm planning to order mine soon.

I know i can juice everything but is it really worth to juice spinach, kale, brocolli pretty much green veggies? Will i get enough juice out of these or should i just eat them instead? I am in a low carb diet so i dont really eat a lot of fruits so will it be worth getting the nama juicer in my case?

I’ve never tried it but I’m positive it can juice the white meat. Only because the texture is the same as beets or sweet potatoes and the J2 does great with those
Celery is easy and i have a cheap one. Kale and chard, leafy greens is my problem, took me an hour to do a full jar of greens and a separate jar of citrus😡😡. J2 coming for Christmas, better be worth it

It doesn’t matter . You can leave it closed so that you can measure how much juice you have, making sure you get 16 oz. But it really doesn’t matter.

Hey, I have a question. I just purchased this juicer and I made a celery juice. I did feel a little bit of pulp when drink it the juice. Is that normal? I thought it’d be pure juice with zero pulp. Thank you!

PEACE Queen! How does this nama j2 do hold up when it comes to juicing wheatgrass? I’m gettin ready to cop the j2 but wanna know if it’s good just for juicing wheatgrass specifically to get my wheatgrass juice shot intake on and my only concern is I know the j2 gets busy but was wondering if I should cop a horizontal cold press juicer strictly for wheatgrass or can the j2 vertical one u using hold me down proper enough as to where I don’t need a horizontal one and I’m just tripping thinking I need 2 different juicers?What’s ur opinion on that ? I bought the J2 a couple of months ago and I'm on day 56 of a juice fast, so I'm doing a LOT of juice. What I like about the J2: basically its a hands-off operation. Does a good job with veggies and MOST fruits. The only clogs...well, not clogs actually, but slow-downs...is with citrus. Anyone else encounter this? The pulp backs up in the strainer bowl and back up into the feeder pitcher. So all I get out of the juice chute are steady drops, not a flow of liquid. The oj also seems to have a lot of sediment in it. Anyone?
Also, people talk about how easy it is to clean. Don't know about that; seems to be a hassle as most juicers are. Beginning to think the easiest juicer to clean I've ever had was the old-school Champion.

Wow! Congratulations on your fast. That’s amazing. How long did you fast for and what were the results? I just recently purchased one and plan on doing a 30 days juice cleanse. 56 days is beast! Again congrats! 😊
@@revolutionary.loveee I actually went 90 days. I never felt like "congrats" were in order because I went into it hoping to get rid of mucoid plaque, and outside of one brief time, I didn't see any. So I asked myself if all the effort (got sick of cleaning the juicer...lol), commitment, and expense was worth it. But maybe the problem was, I was setting an external arbitrary goal, and my assumption was thinking that I knew everything that had accumulated in my body in my 73 years of eating junk food (even the "healthy" junk), when in reality I didn't know. So I was setting myself up for disappointment.
I'm glad I did it. Had some subtle realizations about my relationship with food, got rid of my "road rage." I realize now my goal is breatharianism. Most critics who hear that word ridicule it without understanding the deeper levels. Its not about avoiding food, its about NOT being controlled by food, habits, and emotions. It IS about eating food because you want to, or enjoy it non-judgementally, and still being able to walk away from it, knowing nutrition comes from many physical and psychological sources, food just being one of them.

One go round ?? Like when you fill up the juicer will it make 6 cups?? No you would have to fill the juicer up more than once
