The best part about this spell, Its Opaque from the outside, You become the rouges best friend as they can attack from range with free advantage because they are unseen.
Haha sadly most of them are computer generated, so I doubt it would be very entertaining! I really appreciate you taking the time to comment! Feel free to use the Discount Code 'COMMENT', and get a free One Shot at chancesguild.com/collections/job-board!
If you are playing an Order of Scribes wizard, you can cast this as an action without expending spell slots once every long rest... you can literally use it like a gigantic resilient sphere.
As much as I wish that were possible, it's sadly not. The Order of Scribes ability allows to you to ignore the extra 10 minutes casting time for a ritual spell, but "Tiny Hut" has a base casting time of 1 minute. Therefore, it either takes 11 minutes or 1 minute to cast ritually, depending on whether you use the Scribe's ability. Kinda sucks that you can't use it in combat, huh?
@alexanderpryce8895 Technically you can if you can set up an ambush, glyph of warding (high level wizards fighting in their own plane or base) and there is ways to just use natural cover to bunker up like that.
For pure utility and protection this spell is unbeatable. For style I still prefer Galder's Tower, it comes with a SAUNA! Yeah, it's super fragile compared to Tiny Hut, but that spell comes without any interior beyond "climate control".
So the only way to get this spell through Ritual Caster would be to find it later on in a spell book or a scroll correct? Since its a 3rd level spell and Ritual Caster only gives you two 1st level ritual spells. So not a real practical way to get it since you may never find a wizard book or specific scroll with this spell on it during your campaign.
Depending on the size of a wagon. Lol you could stack stolen goods illegal goods and cast this over the goods. Making it opaque. So if traveling at night and the guards happen to stop the wagon and look in. They wouldnt see nothing of shadows and darkness. Could stack empty crates on top and around to camouflage it to smuggle goods/people in or out of a city.
Important note with this spell: it's a dome without a bottom, so any creatures that can pass through solid material (like a shadow demon) can come up through the floor and still attack you.
what do you think about the interaction of scribe wizard awakened mind casting this to start a fight on some unsuspecting enemies and then casting fireball inside of it?
haha YES, thats the one! I really appreciate you taking the time to comment! Feel free to use the Discount Code 'COMMENT', and get a free One Shot at chancesguild.com/collections/job-board!
up for debate if worth it as bard for it takes up a known spell even with ritual tag; It's worth considering though? As for ritual caster feat good luck that your DM will let you get it? Wizard is a no brainier! Get it then never prepare it just write on multiple security notes ripped from your spell velum pages as back up! Warlock pack of the tome worth it as ritual in pandering wizard now warlock spell book?
I wish i could find a video where the spell is explained in 3 minutes or less. And answer the most frequently asked questions about said spell. I have a game right now and I can't wait for 10 minutes for ad renvue

It's all fun and games until the Evil druid dispells the dome in the middle of the night.

Rouge is a shade of red and the name of a bat, Rogue is the class with sneak attack 👍
@@avonthefoxboi1391 Rouge would make a good name for a rogue
You're back! I'm glad to see you uploading again, I'd missed it.
I always think of Get Smart for the Cone of Silence
Good to have you back! Love the breakdowns
I love using it to block Hallway or Cave to hold off Enemy or Escape. I do love 1 way in and 1 way out.
Chance's welcome back!
The outside is opaque, so if someone is picking up spent ammo to shoot back, it becomes a game of Battleship for them.
The problem with Make "worth to take ritual caster", you then have to find a scroll somewhere
Or during downtime go find a wizard that will make and sell you a scroll of it.
It's a domain spell as a twilight cleric, so I always have access to this :)
Just used this spell last night to save my whole party from a group of Yuan-ti!
The god is back.
Please make a video showing how you animate these videos

Guess who’s back? Back again? Chance is back! Tell a friend!
He has returned .O.
I’ve been waiting for years
It's useful for survival stuff. I'll bring it as a Bard or Abjurer. The instant bunker idea has a lot of merit. I'm sad I didn't think of it.
Shouldn’t it still take one minute (10 combat rounds) for a glyph to cast the hut from when it is triggered?
Reminds me of "house" from Final Fantasy

I was going to say you could use it as a StarCraft style bunker. 🤣

Does this protect against an intellect devourer's detect sentience?

It’s not Johnny English, it’s Get Smart! 😛

Well you'd in all likelihood be hit in it (but technically that'd be fine if it's constrained to the dome).
How will this spell work when cast while the caster is on a moving ship?
DM interpretation required but I'd say it would just stay in mid air
I wish the artificer got this spell

Just glad to see you moved away from the "Fortnite RUclipsr overreacting for children" voice.
Keep it up, bud.
