Hi friend, I have a question and would appreciate a lot if you would answer. I have an Inverter AC Hisense Energy Pro Plus that is really good and powerful, but it is installed in a small room (20 square meters) so when temperatures outside are above 8 degrees celsius AC heats the room quickly, and AC goes into stand by mode because it cannot modulate power below 400w.
When it's even warmer outside +10 C and above, the ac goes into these standy mutiple times in a day, sometimes even 3-4 times in an hour. My question is, are those freequent stand by and compressor shutting off and powering on bad for ac lifetime ? can it cause failure over time or this has little or no impact on AC lifetime ?

connecting outdoor cable like that and only covering with electrical tape ... very bad habit.
I mean it is still better than what the owner tried to do as insulation with the plastic shopping bag strips ...
And they are surprised if they get electrocuted when it rains ...
If you do not know electricity, DO NOT PLAY WITH IT, as you are risking your and others lives.
BTW at the remote the IR diode is not a sensor, it is a transmitter. the sensor is at the indoor unit.
Also... If a fuse is blown, it means something went WRONG, so the fix is not the replacement of the fuse, or even inserting a bigger one, as it will probably lead to cable fire quite fast. (and by fast i mean in seconds)
You should always check for shorts before replacing any fuse ...
I can see you have experience with A/C repairs, but these videos will give false ideas to people who will think they can easily repair something just because they watched a 5 minute youtube video ...

Well Got Through your comment today, after Eight Months. Well this is just a demonstration how can a person know what could be possibly wrong in their air conditioner. Otherwise the repair work should only be done by a technician.
Well we can call the IR in simple words a sensor. Technically it could be wrong. But its a common word used be a common man.
The air conditioner was quite old. I worked according to the availability at the time. The tape for me was the best solution for that time.
I checked the shorts as you mentioned. Then I but that wire on the fuse. Because i didn't had a spare fuse at that time.

Rule of thumb: never buy anything electronically controlled.
Especially oddball stuff like DC motors and such.

But as you see slowly the world is changing to electronics, So why do we use phones. They are also electronically controlled stuff. Well, Electronics is everywhere in this era, and you have to adopt it as quickly as possible.

@@forevertechenglish Electronics are garbage. They are unreliable and next to impossible for the average DIY'er to fix. And that is *IF* you can buy the replacement part and not be stuck buying a whole board. Refrigerators are a prime example if consumers getting screwed.
I haven't had a phone in years. Don't want one either.
THE most reliable things are mechanical.
With electronics, especially cell phones, you put your life at risk.
Best electronics are simple transistors maybe.
